Nchanga end long winless drought

Nchanga Rangers ended a nine-game winless streak after beating Nakambala Leopards 2-1 in a FAZ Super League match at Konkola Stadium in Chililabombwe on Sunday.

Fighton Simukonda’s side trace their last win to March 23 when they beat visiting Green Buffaloes 2-1 in Chingola.

In Chililabombwe, Nchanga came from a goal down to defeat Nakambala in this early kick off match thanks to goals from Bornwell Mwape and late substitute Aubrey Chamulwanda.

Friday Konga handed Nakambala a 20th minute lead when he tapped in from close range.

However, Konga’s goal was cancelled by Mwape eight minutes from the half time break.

Chamulwanda left it late when he poked in the winner three minutes from full time.

This was Nchanga’s third win of the season and it pushed them to 11 points in 11 games.

The Chingola side have one unplayed match against defending Nkana champions.

Nchanga won because poor Nsabata was not in goal.

It is good to know now that my team I ve supported for a long time has ban losing bcoz of that useless goalkeeper Nsabata. Whatever Patrice saw in that boy. He deserves nthg but the street! Shameless keeper. Nchanga has had great keepers eg John Kaunda, Vincent Chileshe, Mswala, etc. Wilatusebanya!
