Festus out, Sate-Sate declared fit for Kitwe derby

Share

Festus Mbewe is out for Saturday’s derby while Ronald Kampamba has been declared fit to face Power.

Mbewe will miss the derby due to a protracted delay from FAZ to get its International Transfer Certificate issued by FIFA.

The striker has just ended a six month loan stint at demoted South African club Golden Arrows.

“We have not yet got any confirmation from FIFA so he is not available for this weekend again,” Nkana coach Zeddy Saileti said.

Mbewe was Nkana’s derby hero last season after scoring both in the 2-0 home win and 1-1 away draw.

Meanwhile, Kampamba who missed mid-week training due to an ankle injury has been certified for the derby.

“Sate Sate is fit and will play, ” Saileti said.

Meanwhile, Kampamba has yet to score in the derby.
