Ex-Chambishi Football Club striker Bobby Chola has died at the age of 34.
His mother Jane Muyoba said Chola died on Monday at Konkola Mine Hospital in Chililabombwe after an illness.
He is expected to be put to rest in Chambishi on Wednesday.
Chola, who was working for Chambishi NFC Mines, has left behind a wife and four children.
He was a member of the famous Chambishi squad that won the Coca Cola Cup besides win promotion to the Super League in 2002.
Chola played together with ex-Chipolopolo defender Moses Sichone at Chambishi.
Others are striker Davies Mwape, Simeo Lubemba, defender Goodson Kachinga and now Red Arrows keeper Medson Luwawa.
May his soul rest in peace. However, he did not work for NFC but Chambishi Metals Plc.
