First Republican President Kenneth Kaunda has praised the Chilanga Senior Citizens Forum for its contribution to develop and foster the local economy of the area.

The First President who is also an ardent golfer himself said it was important that senior citizens in the country contribute to communities in which they live by alleviating poverty among the less privileged.

He was speaking today when he officiated at the Senior citizen’s fundraising golf tournament held at Chilanga golf club.

He also called on Zambians to continue praying for President Michael Sata’s good health.

The former Head of State sang his famous unity song Tiyende Pamodzi and chanted his One Zambia One Nation slogan as he urged Zambians to continue loving one another and co-exist as one people.

And Chilanga Senior Citizens Forum President Ben Muyobela said funds raised will be used to help elderly people in the district who are wallowing in poverty.

This old F00L must refrain from making public statements.

“funds raised will be used to help elderly people in the district who are wallowing in poverty”

It was his economic mis-management that put Zambians into poverty!

@Bulbar, if you write text-messages to your father why he gave you worst childhood, don’t go about doing the same to elders like KK.
May your soul rest in peace Bulbar.

@Nostradamus, if I tell my father he is not talking sense he will be quiet and thank me for the advice.

Not like this Dictator that put Kapwepwe and Nkumbula in jail AND KILLED them for pointing out his stupidity!

When I see poor kids begging on the streets, I see the results of this mans ego and his “Humanism”

He inherited a rich Nation and turned it into a poor one with his STUPlDITY! Zambia will never progress if we cannot face the FACTS. HE FAILED THE NATION!

I have also attempted many times to be as objective as it is possible in an effort to find some redeeming feature about KK’s leadership. I have drawn up two lists one highlighting his achievements and another his failures, but the list of his blunders is so long it has completely cancelled out the good. There is very little to show on his credit side. Like some one has already pointed out he inherits a rich nation which he then coldbloodedly grounds into dust. If only he could keep his mouth shut and operate from the shadows, outside of the limelight , some of us just might be able to forgive him. His constant media appearances works only to remind us of the trauma he caused.

Bulbar we all know Kaunda messed Zambia up, but that is not cause to insult him. Just say he spent all our dough and left the nation broke.

Don’t insult an elder person even if he does wrong , but with respect advise him if he is wrong but if you choose to insult him you are just sawing seeds and one day you will reap what you sowed, but what you should know is that people made a mistake are those who gave him to be president , when they knew he was still a malawan citizen , the Nkumbulas , the Winas , the Mundias , the Kapwepwes , the Lisos, the Matokas ,the list is endless , these are the ones to blame you can’t rule a foreign country well ,when your relatives are not there so you mistreat them .
