Visiting Choma Green Eagles condmned champions Nkana to their second straight home defeat with a 3-2 win in a FAZ Super League Week 16 match played in Kitwe on Saturday.
Striker Paul Malama scored a brace as Eagles recorded a well deserved victory at Nkana Stadium in Wusakile.
Justin Chinama’s side took an early lead just after six minutes with Mathews Tembo pouncing on a loose ball following a blunder from Nkana keeper Rabson Mucheleng’anga.
Claunde Bwalya equalised three minutes later before Malama restored Eagle’s lead and later completed his brace in the 58th minute.
However, Nkana’s second half substitute Lottie Nyimbili cut the score line to 3-2 with a 82nd minute goal.
This match was a totally different from the reverse fixture that ended goalless on the opening day of the season in Choma.
Meanwhile, this win pushes Eagles to 20 points from 16 matches as Nkana remain static on 29 points from 16 matches played.
