The Zambian Voice has remained adamant on seeking an appointment to meet President Michael Sata at State House despite his recent appearances on television and still pictures.

Executive Director Chilufya Tayali says the idea is not to prove that President Sata is well and working as the government puts it, but that his organization wants to set a precedent that all public offices can be accessible to the general public.

Mr. Tayali says his organization wants to send a message to Zambians that State House is like any other public office that should be accessed by members of the public.

He has told Qfm news in an interview that his organization will extend such visits to other public offices such as government Ministries especially when there is a concern that specifically concerns a particular public office.

Mr Tayali says his organization wants to have a good and cordial discussion with the Head of State and does not want to give an impression that it intends to meet the President for an acrimonious confrontation.

  1. He strikes to me like a guy suffering from small pen!s syndrome. What is his contribution to the development of Zambia? So you meet Sata, is that going to put food on the table of zambians in Misisi compound?

  2. Fwaka at work, why do u like politizin thinz @tayali please look for something that wil help zambia to develop, not these rubish u’re doing together with ba watch ngalu, please grow.

  3. So you believe that an elected Head of State can just hide from the public indefinitely ? You don’t think a Head of State is accountable to those who elected him ?

  4. When African dictators get sick and incapacitated
they should step aside and let someone else run the
country – that goes for Sata as well as Mugabe!

  5. “Zambian Voice?” for which Zambians?
You guys done there in Zambia have all the time to waste even giving Time to So called Tayali to talk. Who does he think he is? Lets have youth organizations that will bring meanifull development to the country not this chaps, who are lazy and want to eat NGO money.
He was thinking that Sata is dying and now he is ashamed that the big man is there and working and now he wants to sound friendly.
Watch your steps Chilufya and Please just be a voice to your girl friends not Zambia!

  6. Tally or whatever you call yourself my friend, if yours is an idle mind, leave those who are working alone? No busy public office will allow you to go and waste their time, just like my private office is not for idlers and time wasters.
