Kalu salutes rampant U-17

FAZ president Kalusha Bwalya has saluted the Zambia Under-17 for advancing to the final round of the 2015 Africa Youth Championship qualifiers.

The Junior Chipolopolo have progressed via a 6-0 aggregate scoreline after thumping Botswana 5-0 in the second round return leg away in Gaborone on Friday.

Kalusha is hopeful that Zambia can qualify for its maiden CAF Under-17 Championship.

“It’s a job well done. Congraturations to everyone involved,” he said.

Zambia will now face Uganda, who eliminated Rwanda 7-2 on aggregate, in September.

“Hope we can go all the way, we are just two games away from first representation at under-17 CAF finals,” Kalusha said.

He added:”More work on hand and with the same spirit the sky is the limit.”
