Today’s Message: Water the Right Seeds

bible

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

“Still other seed fell on good soil. It came up, grew and produced a crop, some multiplying thirty, some sixty, some a hundred times.”
(Mark 4:8, NIV)

TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria

There was a report about children who had been bullied in school. It talked about how years later, those negative words were still having an effect on many of them. They interviewed this one man. He was in his 40’s.

He looked to be a bright, intelligent man, but he had not been able to hold down a good job, struggled in his relationships, and couldn’t seem to get on course. He said as a child, he was overweight. He was chubby, and some of the other children made fun of him and called him names like “loser” and “failure.” He made the mistake of letting those words take root. Now they were keeping him in mediocrity.

When somebody calls you something, either good or bad, that seed is planted in your soil. Now you get to determine whether or not that seed takes root and grows. When you dwell on what was said, you are watering the seed. You’re giving it a right to become a reality.

That’s why it’s so important that we’re disciplined in our thought life. It’s great when people tell you, “You’re blessed. You’re talented. You’re going to do great things.” Meditate on those throughout the day. Water those seeds and watch His truth become your reality!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father, thank You for depositing seeds of greatness inside of me. I choose to uproot every negative word spoken over me by accepting Your truth that will set me free! In Jesus’ name. Amen.

  1. Fourth Installment.
Matthew 12:40-For as Jonas was 3 days and 3 nights in the whale’s belly; so shall the Son of man be 3 days and 3 nights in the heart of the earth.
The Gospels clearly tell us that Jesus died and His body was hurriedly placed in the tomb late in the afternoon, just before sundown when a Sabbath began (John 19:30-42).
By the traditional christian ” Good Friday–Easter Sunday ” timing celebrations; we have from Friday sundown to Saturday sundown = 1 night and 1 day.Saturday night to Sunday daybreak is another night, giving us 2 nights and 1 day.
So where do we get another night and 2 days to equal the 3 days and 3 nights Jesus said He would be in the tomb?
Or is it maybe the worship of jesus is just mere worship of the sun? his death similar to the winter solstice?…

  2. @Zagaze…..Are you sure with your Calculations?
    & ;
    1. who told you 2b celebrating Easter and
    2. why does Easter change every time and
    3. do you PERSONALLY KEEP THE SABBATH ?.

Answer ths Questions then I will Answer thee how the Jona 3 days is equated to Jesus 3 days.

    • i dont celebrate easter, because i dont believe in the lies in the bible. the only reason i reference the bible is because i want you to see the real truth using your own circumference of awareness. if i showed the proof of the lies and deceptions in the bible using historical texts, you will no doubt refuse. so i go to your bible and show you the flaws right there in your bible. so i guess with this view, i have answered all your questions. So please do enlighten us, and i hope its not another convenient interpretation just to skillfully manoueveur out of straight forward texts. But please, do shed more light…………..

  3. Amen Amen and Amen! Glory be to you O’Lord! May I walk in your path of rightousness and may your divine light shine upon me and my househould. God bless Zambia and humanity despite our shortcomings. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

  4. The ONLY seed will should be depositing in our children and ourselves is the seed of Afrikan consciousness and spirituality.
All religions are man-made and merely based on life, deeds and events of people who NEVER historically existed ie Adam, Noah, Moses, Jesus, Muhammad etc.
Wake up people and ask yourselves the right questions about this religion you blindly embrace!!
    Wake up!!
