Nkana midfielder Simon Bwalya has pledged to work hard after being recalled to the national team.

New Zambia coach Honour Janza has included Bwalya in his 26-member home based Chipolopolo squad that has regrouped in Lusaka for the
monthly camping.

The Under-23 international has been enjoying superb form since joining Nkana from Power Dynamos in January.

“Firstly, I want to thank God. It’s been long since I was called to the national team and now I have been recalled,” Bwalya said.

” I will continue working hard and being humble and I promise my fans that I won’t let them down, I will keep on pushing,” he said.

Bwalya has so far scored four league goals.

  1. i DON’T KNOW HIM, WHO IS HE, IS HE RELATED TO THE NEW ZAMBIAN COACH? Because he was never called by HR how can a coach who helped us win AFCON 2012 fail to call a good player then a village coach identities Simon as a potential player? This the begining of problems for having local coaches, u shud only call players that RENARD called before, NOT CALLING PIPO COS. U COME FROM TOGETHER

    • He’s a PDFC player who has been loaned out to Nkana. He is currently playing well and rightfully deserves a place in the team.

  2. @ anyoko, do you watch our local league? It is always important to to know the player before you comment negatively about him. Simon is a very good player. Remember that Hounour has called home based players and simon is among those that are performing well in the league

  3. This @ANYOKO chap is just crap. He says Honour should only call the players who were once called by Renard. Is it not Anyoko who is a villager Ladies and Gentlemen? Ooooh, he is really a lunatic this chap!
