Post Newspapers Editor in Chief Fred M’membe says several areas of Zambia are witnessing massive development under the Patriotic Front government.

Mr M’membe said the PF Government has managed to take infrastructural development programmes across the country since taking over in 2011.

He said it is the work of the media to tell the story of the massive developments taking place in several parts of the country.

Mr M’membe seen to be a key ally of President Sata said the developments taking place under the PF government have not been well documented.

He cited Mongu in Western Province as one of the districts which has received massive developments under the PF administration.

Mr M’membe was speaking in Lusaka on Friday after he gave a talk at the launch of the Rural Electrification Authority media awards.

“I have not been to Mongu in a long time but I know there is a lot of positive things happening there and it is important that we write about that. So we sent Mwala (Kalaluka) and Joseph Mwenda to try to see if we can manage to tell a story with pictures and written words, will see what happens after we publish the stories. There about eight stories that came from Mongu with a good number of pictures,” Mr M’membe said.

Mr M’membe said Zambian Journalists should always strive to improve their work and drop the tendency of writing stories based on she said or he said style.

“In Mongu, our Reporters talked to the local people who are the recipients of the developments taking place there. They also spoke to contractors working on site.

There are many other ways of doing stories and you will judge for yourself when the stories are published. The idea is to tell the story of what is happening in our country through your own observations with your own words.”

Mr M’membe also condemned what he said is the growing levels of extravagance in Government.

“Why should a government Minister have three latest vehicles? It is always Nissan Patrols, 4×4 vehicles and yet Government Hospitals do not have equipment.”

He added, “When you walk into Government offices, the kind of furniture that greets you and the huge conference rooms with chairs that people don’t even sit there. You also seem big expensive Samsung TV sets which they can’t even operate but equipment in hospitals is obsolete.”

  1. @Fred Mumembe, a gentleman folds an handkerchief puts in pocket before he picks a wallet, then car-keys.
Handkerchief is for wiping nose, otherwise even if you try to promote your political party PF with ifimina like you Mmembe, every you say will sound so disgusting.
Clean your nose first, its not only Kabimba and that dirty hyena Mutembo you will meet today.

    • Massive development of unprecedented poverty! Flogging a dead horse Fred! Ati its the fastest on the track. smh

    • I had just over 2 years ago lost the little respect I had for Fred MuMmembe. What remains is for my seeing to it that he pays back the over K40,000,000 owed to DBZ. Mind you the amount keeps accumulating interest, each passing day that it’s not settled.

    • I have failed to read the article because i cant stomach it. I so hate this guy with a passion – Only for what he has done to our beloved country. He “sold his soul” and the country to Sata for 12 pieces of silver.

    • Mmembe

Pan yo pa ko. He is now feeling the heat that after PF the law will catch up with him. He has insulted HH and MMD leaders. Kaya ngati azatabila kuti.

Jail is waiting for you Mmembe for massive extortion.

There was a similar case herein the UK were an investor withdrew his own money from his company and took it to Cyprus and opened up another company while leaving the UK one to go under. He ran away for 10 years but eventually, the law caught up with him and he is serving a lengthy sentence.

Mmembe uzachiona. Time is running out, pay back your share and free your self.

    • People with little brains think that development is just brick and mortar.

Go to Spain, and see the white elephants they built thinking that they were developing the nation and yet they just created ghost towns with expensive airports and facilities where no one lives. No one lives in these ghost brand new town because they Spanish economy too ill to enable people go and live in these towns.

PF has built Universities while failing to sustain and maintain the existing ones. They are busy building new roads while neglecting existing busy roads which need expansion to reduce road carnage. Only CNPs can do this.

The PF has prioritised construction because its the easiest way through which they can steal massive amounts of money through single sourcing contractors who pay them kick…

    • Wanzelu is the Don, chaume sana mwe. Chafunya data. Respect boss!! I saw a BBC documentary on those “White Elephants” in spain.

    • Mpuno kuyipa ba Mmembe… you are as ugly as your heart sir and I just came to the comments because I agree with all the negatives directed against this vindictive useless business man of a person called Mmembe.
I pray the opposition will not be taken in by this manipulator of a person.

    • You mean Mmembe is this ugly or they have used a photo of some Angolan refugee in Mangango. No wonder no woman can accept his proposal; men should have a shape! This might also explain why he does everything in life in reverse! We hear even the other things he does in reverse of nature, my foot!

  2. Hired mouth-piece. Otherwise, why has the man of action gone into hibernation? Wait to see how many eggs will hatch.

  3. Those infrastructural development projects you talk about were started by Mwanawasa…..Talking about big offices is another bla bla bla issue.
Please stop talking about these things as they are reserved for others. Rather answer when are paying back the KR.14,000,000?

    • Mwanawasa never started these developments otherwise RB would have finished them !!! Mwanawasa got machines for ZNS wich are parked , in exchange Chinese put up center pivots at that farm in Ndola rural !! The chap was no saint, no wonder God removed him and Chiluba.

    • ZAMBIANS ARE FUULED TO THINK MWANAWASA WERE A SAINT. WITH HIS LEGAL BACKGROUND, HIS GOVERNMENT REACHED THE PEAK OF CORRUPTION AND HE USED CHILUBA’S CASE FOR HIS PERSONAL GLORY. I TOO, BELIEVE GOD REMOVED HIM AND CHILUBA TO SAVE ZAMBIA FROM FALLING INTO A CIVIL WAR SCENERY. IT DOESN’T MATTER WHO STARTED THE PROJECT. WHAT MATTERS IS WHO CORRECTED THE SITUATION TO CONTINUE AND FINISH THE PROJECT PROPERLY. LEVY AND RB WERE JUST BUILDING FOR ELECTIONS AND WHEN ELECTIONS WERE NEAR. AS SUCH PROJECTS WERE VERY POOR- ROADS EVEN COLLAPSED. ZAMBIANS NEED AND WANT PROJECTS TO SUSTAINED FUTURE SUPERSTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENTS. THIS IS WHAT IS HAPPENING NOW. PF ARE BUILDING INFRASTRUCTURE FOR SUPERSTRUCTURES.

    • You cannot credit development that is happening today to someone who died five years ago. Does the dead person still disperse funds from the treasury. Be objective by giving credit where it is due and criticising where necessary. In terms of infrastructure development, PF has outdone MMD. It is in the areas of governance and fiscal discipline that PF are seriously lacking.

    • @Peter we dont think that Mwanawasa was a saint because it was his government that sucked up to Mmembe and we are in this mess because of Mwanawasa. Hence, we take his good deeds with the worst. Because of Levy Mmembe thinks he is Zambia’s saviour and yet he is a thief. This also includes the ***** Mutembo Nchito

  4. Mmemba is exhibiting a mouse type of attack, biting slowly at the same time blowing some air so that u don’t feel the pain,by time u wake up ,you discover the wound is so deep.watch out this guy, remember he didn’t support sata out of conviction but due to the k14 billion.

    • THAT’S ONE GOOD THING ABOUT M’Membe. THE ATTITUDE OF NOT FEARING POLITICIANS. I AM NOT SAYING M’Membe IS PERFECT. FAR FROM THAT. IN FACT M’Membe IS JUST LIKE ANY HUMAN BEING- HE’S NOT PERFECT. BUT M’Membe HAS HELPED BRING OUT A LOT OF ILLS OF PREVIOUS AND CURRENT GOVERNMENTS SUCH THAT IF IT HADN’T BEEN FOR HIM ZAMBIANS WOULD HAVE BEEN DOWN-TRODDEN BY POLITICIANS BIG TIME. MIND YOU- IN ALL THESE, HE HAS BEEN RISKING HIS LIFE.

    • biggy ba Peter, pls consult your manual for a button labelled “CapsLk.” If your comments are worth the read, we will notice them without you having to scream

    • True about PF extravagance. The chairs they seat on — see what Japanese emperor seats on, The cars they drive — like movie stars list is endless

    • @Sauliso
Your picture is no different from the one in the story. Long deaf ears and large nostrils that can’t smell trouble. Both of you are hypocrites. You are the country’s drawback.

  5. Its this chi Membwe Fred who’s put Zambia in this big crisis! Pay the 14billion to ADB first before u talk about any development!!!! U maggot! No employment no salary increment no roads here no funding in schools no teachers and nurses in clinics high cost of living fue, busu, bread etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc…………. And the u say massive development!!!! Very sityopet!!

  6. Mwine filimu achoka manje……ndiwe chi Van Damne mudala iwe. Ths kicks u r trying to give kaya mwandini wina azalila chaka chechibwela ichi.

    Development kuti !!
Change your style. You r Killing my Grandpa i state house.
    Viva New Blood Viva UPND.

  7. M’membe, forget your praise & worship for PF – it’s too late. Zambians have made up their minds! If you and the rest of the cartel will manage to snatch power from PF it will only be a shell. The development you’re talking about only exists in your d!ckhead.

  8. I would say exactly the same if the President is shielding me from debt collectors wanting their K14 Billion.
LT why waste space on this wannabe journalist…. its is an insult to journalists for host to even let him speak at such an occasion.

  9. What PF has done is more than what we expected. Evry where there is something to show that we have a working govt. This is why we cant tell pipo what we shall do if PF lost elections. Mr Sata may God bless you

    • Only Muchinga is seeing that development. Only one family forest and tribe is having more money in their pockets.

If you think Zambians are too blind to see the tribalism being practised by the PF, then wait until 2016.

  10. This is not surprising, especially coming from M’Membe. What he does not seem to talk about is the fact that development is not just infrastructure (Cement, mortar and tar) it (Development) goes beyond these things and M’membe knows this very well. But in his usual manner he decides to blame the size of minister’s offices in the PF led Govt. What we have been saying is that we need development but it must be balanced. Development is not only Roads and Paul Makasa University at the expense of no medicine in the hospitals (M’Membe himself concedes to this). Development musty be balanced and resources allocated to all equally important sectors of the economy.

    • Well said! Check the indicators which will compare beyond what the eye can see. You talk about hospitals, and that’s one indicator. In the long term one can see all this will not be easily sustained. Institutions which manage infrastructure have all been compromised I wonder what legacy there will be to oversee this infrastructure implemented with a retrogressive political motive.

An example is how clerks and typists are withdrawing huge sums of money using checks in this day and age. I thought PF would put in regulation to stop this mess.

  11. Mmembe may be LYING!

Luapula is tops in terms of infrastracture development.

Luapula has more cartapilars today to do our roads than private cars.

The entire province has sudenly become a massive work shop!

    THANKS TO KING COBRA!

  12. @Suntwe, the people have already decided to vote for PF. I have moved across the country and i can tell you that opposition parties do not stand the slightest chance. I am not PF nor a politician but one thing I know in my errands is that Northern, Luapula, Muchinga, Copperbelt, Lusaka, around Chongwe area and part of Central will be won by PF. MMD will do well in Eastern and part of Western and NW. UPND will scope Southern, Western and a greater part of NW. Membe is correct: new airports, Kitwe-Chingola dual carriage way, NCZ, Link8000, Pave2000, L400, Bumper harvest, township tarred roads everywhere, Universities, Chiawa bridge, upgrading of UNZA right now, 600 health posts, the list is endless. Mind you am not PF but I am impressed with PF.

    • @The One
You must be a Congolese to think people will vote for PF. It is just a matter of time, PF is forgone history to Zambians. These guys like Mmembe should be treated like Saddam Husein of Iraq.

  13. I have no respect for these crooks. Development which is laced with corruption and state house influence. I cant wait for PF to get out of government.

  14. Fred, you have said it. PF has really brought massive development in Zambia. The kind of developmental activities taking place in Zambia can only be likened to to the developmental activities which characterized Zambian landscape the first ten years after independence. Fred Mmembe is an astute critic who would have laid PF bare if no development was taking place. I wonder where the armchair critics get the audacity to bark that PF is not doing anything. Fred Mmembe is the correct barometer to measure development in Zambia. Well done PF. Long live Sata. Abash demagogues!

    • Are you for real or you are just providing some kind of banter?

The sad thing about this country is that the so called development barometer (as you put it) has been set so low that we now praise a government that wants to or is building a borehole or tarring a road. Oh dear, isn’t this their responsibility anyway? Just the other day, a minister giving out taxi cars was praised almost like Christ’s second coming.

The country has been messed up so much we now can’t even tell what development looks like. As an example, where I live, almost all roadwork maintenance works are done at night when people are sleeping; by the time people wake up to go to work, the road has been tarred and it’s new to drive. Not the roads I saw in Ng’ombe compound in Lusaka.

  15. ….Fred sounds as if infrastructure development is being done out of the ordinary…..that is just one of the responsibility of every govt. However, it must also synchronise with the basic standard of living of its citizens. If you go to China, UK…they are also busy with new infrastructure….infact demolishing old structures for modern ones while at the same time over 95% of their citizens can afford three square meals a day, accessing clean water and acceptable health services. How do u feel proud constructing a university in Muchinga or putting up what one perceives as a modern Levy Mwanawasa hospital and yet when a senior govt get a bout of malaria rushes to Milpark Hosp. SA or the case of Kazimu just for ‘intensive care….’

  16. Mr Mumembe ,shade light on:

    1. K14 Billion owed to ADB.
    2. Induced bye-Elections
    3. Health of Sata and his continuous absence from public
    4. PF Cadres in Foreign Missions misbehaving and wasting Tax payers money.
    5. Management of RDA

I hope you will be the same after 2016.

    • In Kenya its government through Kenya ICT Board is marketing Konza Techno City, dubbed “where African silicon savannah begins” The project is estimated to cost US$14.5 billion and marketed as key driver of Kenya Vision 2030….benefits to the economy and people is immense.
Meanwhile in Zambia a government repatching a dilapidated road and electrifying a village is termed as development when its their duty to do such a thing.
This is what happens when the country is led by visionless empty tins.

  17. What an insult to the people of Mongu for Mr M’membe to pick Mongu as a propaganda yardstick to claim PF is developing Zambia? If he picked Muchinga, I probably would have given him the benefit of doubt.
I was in Mongu last year and what I found there is a sorry state of affairs. Mongu has moved from a livelu thriving town of the 90’s to a dead dusty village. Apparently the ‘development‘ that I found is the incompetent Chinese who have dug every road in town, closing and abandoning them and thus creating traffic chaos. For some reason they are not completing these roads. I confronted one of them who couldn’t speak English and a friend advised me to speak in broken English. So I said: ‘why dig, dig, everywhere’, to which he said ‘Zambia, no money’.

    • Is this the ‘development’ Mr M’membe is proud of and wants the world to hear about? In one suburb, they dug the road and they completely cut off the water supply pipe and residents had no water for months on end. In one new suburb, the Western Water Sewerage dug a trench to put water supply pipes by the road and the trenches have been there for years… while residents get up as early as 4am to go and queue for borehole water. I went to the office the company and I was fed with excuses and lies.
At the harbour, which a source of livelihood for the locals, the people answer to the call of nature from shallow dug out holes. Is this man for real? Obviously people are working hard to fend for themselves and they are building their own houses on their own.

    • And just to debunk his story and lay it bare, the epi-centre of the Barotseland self-rule advocacy is in Mongu. If there was real development there, why would these youths be advocating to break away and return to the pre 1964 status quo?

And wasn’t in Mongu that there was media reports recently that 150 youths workers were reportedly fired by the PF Government? is this development?

He admits he hasn’t been to Mongu for a long time so how could he be a factual eye witness… he is advising against journalism of ‘he said, she said, yet that’s what he is doing. And look at the hypocrisy; he is talking about development and public resources wastage by the same govt – aren’t these mutually exclusive?

Sorry for the long comments but I needed to expose the lies.

  18. Fred M’membe – This man looks like a criminal. Why listen to his nonsense? he has stolen money from DBZ. Let him first return it. Then we listen to such thieves

  19. Another serpent in the name of Fred Mmembe has finally come out of the hole. Speaking with ambiguously development language of PF (pathetic failures) government. What development infrastructures are the brain child of Sata PF? Mr Sata government had no blue print of development strategy, Dr Guy Scott is on record in your Post newspaper that PF has no development written document to follow on. This being confirmed with dreams of districts creations pronounced by Mr Sata without any budget to back such developments. Mmembe’s paper acting as peddler of such news published it widely in style of Sata populist character. Today Mmembe speaks in plural “we have not visited Mongu for along time, we have sent boys to collect stories of massive development in western province soon to be…

  20. published for Zambians to see what PF government has achieved”.
Mmembe speaks with such arrogance and hatred to the extend of pride that his news paper prompted PF Sata to power, hence his arrogance with his coleague Mtembo Nchito. Zambians have not forgotten what you owe to DBZ. Pay back that K14 million + interest to Zambia, then you can raise your ugly head to speak, even then you have to declare the capacity and plat form you express your self so that Zambians can handle you squarely as a politician, journalist or no body.
    Welcome to the arena.

  21. Wanzelu and UPND brain washed cadres there is time to talk about things that matter most and times to disagree and agree. In my life time I never thought pee from kasama village will have a Tarmac road to lukupa health centre / nursing school but today I can happily tell the all world my people have Tarmac road. Ask GBM or radio Mano and they will say yes . Mporokoso and luwingu have Tarmac roads in 50 yrs they never new what Tarmac looks like. Northern and western provinces were least developed despite their major contributions during the struggle for independence.. People talk about things that are not true it shows how naive they are. Negative reporting about your own country will never help UPND and it’s mouthpiece ZWD. 2016 cry baby as usual. Sata is mature and seasoned politician.

  22. Mumembe has even stopped writing the bla bla rubbish he used to.We are not for sale, we cannot be bought, we are not spineless, we have principles and all that empty rhetoric. He cant confidently say that now cos the cobra put him in his place using the Dbz issue.

  23. pf suporters read the story on zambian watch dog about kabimba bringing terorists to help him secure power as President,i know u wil like it coz u are like him

  24. The opposition guys are writing trash here…theirs is not constructive criticism. They are jealousy of PF’s robust infrastructure development.Sata is the man of the people because he understands what Zambians want.We shall vote for him in 2016 and beyond.Membe you are a genius and forget about these disgruntled chaps.

  25. Ki ki ki they are pretending to be blind as if they are not seeing the good things PF is doing. They are behaving like witches. No single opposition party will beat PF in 2016 because they seem to understand their home work.

  26. U Leon…u are still reading ZWD who are always one sided ! If it came from LT i was may be going to believe.Forget about hate journalism.Sata and Kabimba are too smart for people who just yap anyhow without facts. Are u the one who brought those so called terrorists ? Rumour mongers shall never be taken seriously by Zambians…period.

  27. Wanzelu come to Choma and see the infrastructure being put in place.Who told u its only in Muchinga ? Do u travel to other places ? Stop day dreaming.

  28. MR Fred M’membe, THIS IS WHAT I WAS EXPECTING WHOLE THIS TIME. IN ZAMBIA IT IS VERY DIFFICULT IF NOT IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND DATA OR NEWS ON WHAT IS GOING ON IN RURAL ZAMBIA. NOWADAYS, TECHNOLOGY IS SO ADVANCED AND CHEAP FOR A NEWSPAPER TO JUST WRITE AND WRITE AND WRITE LONG TEXT WITHOUT IMAGES. PEOPLE EXPECT IMAGES OF WHAT YOU ARE WRITING ABOUT AND NOT JUST TEXT OR ALWAYS A HEAD OF A MINISTER. WE DO NOT WANT TO SEE MINISTERS OR MPs ALL THE TIMES. WE WANT TO SEE IN PICTURES WHAT THOSE MINISTERS AND MPs ARE DOING. EVEN THE IMAGES I GET ARE NOT FROM ZAMBIAN NEWSPAPERS. MOST ZAMBIAN NEWSPAPERS ONLY PUBLISH INSULTS FROM OPPOSITION PARTIES. IS IT ONLY INSULTS THAT SELL IN ZAMBIA?

    • Where has the money for the massive development grown or come from?!

Imagine a man who has been employed in same position suddenly saying he is undertaking massive developmental projects.

  29. We expect such information from a government owned newspaper and not a private one. If anyone has had any doubts that the post newspaper is the propaganda wing of the PF, you now have your answer. The information Mr. Mmembe is given is supposed to be given by a government minister who wants to brag on what the PF is doing. Doesn’t Mr. Mmembe have no shame to campaign for the PF in the manner he is doing? When is he going to cleanse himself? Is’nt it time he started cleansing himself now that the PF is not going anywhere? The PF certainly does not need the Post. It has Times of Zambia, the Zambian Daily Mail and ZNBC for its propaganda. After all the development he is talking about is debatable. So why doesn’t he leave this debate to PF politicians and the opposition to slug it out?

  30. Editor in chief turned Campaign manager, what a phenomenon! Now one wonders what is the fear that the rest of us mortals cannot see which brings out such phenomena?

  31. another presidential candidate has come to light in pf the fight now is on KASEBA MUMEMBE KAMIMBYA KAMBWILI LUBINDA MULENGA SATA . Satanist to lead our beloved Zambia , my foot .

  32. The truth hurts. Only blind people as a result of drinking cow urine cannot see what is happening in Zambia. Potholes are fast disappearing. Shock absorbers dealers brace for lower sales.

  33. Ba Mmembe, I do not need to be an economist to figure out the economy is on the down swing. High bank lending rates, unstable Kwacha that has weakened since PF took over and above all high cost of living. I am not sure borrowing money and resurfacing a few roads and building new universities when existing one are quite pathetic in their standards is not the kind of development people want. Even the MMD can also claim the same things… Two stadiums and larger part of roads in Lusaka were redone. Where are they today? Zambians are now much more sharp to know what development benefits household income…. If it does not, the sorry 2016 kuya bebele and unfortunately we shall come and collect the money you have taken out of DBZ.

  34. PF have done a lot, there are more infrastructure development programmes than in the MMD regime and as rightly put by FM Western Province right now is enjoying a great infrastructure push even better than in the Unip days, still a lot more needs to be done but I can assure you UPND will never even bother to lift a finger to develop Western Province should they God forbid ever rule this land especially under the Hungry Hyena.

    • You have problem because you comment on issues that you dont understand. You Govt is busy borrowing and not making money. In the the next 10years there will be no money to maintain these infrastructure and they will have nowhere to borrow. IN SHORT THIS GOVT IS MAKING THIS COUNTRY POOR. And all those that are praising them are also thieves who are eating money meant for roads construction.

    • @wisdom you and your fellow UPND retarded supporters are just blinded by hate and anger, you are so power hungry that trying to speak sense to you is like talking to a brick wall! I can assure you though that all provinces except for Southern are PF strongholds and you guys will have a very long wait to make any headway because you yourselves are your worst enemies, you have one of the biggest plunderers this country has ever had as your alpha male in the form of a very hungry hyena, secondly even the Canisius Bandas of this world know the truth that UPND are a regional party and many of the members who are of a higher moral standing than people like you are preparing to leave your group of vagabonds masquerading as a political party called UNITED PARTY for NATIONAL DESTRUCTION!

    • @ 2020 vision
It might be a good idea to sit down with your dying king to share your 2020 vision with him because he has none of his own. The man is likely to advise his minister of education to turn all primary schools into universities because to him even a Grade 7 should be given a degree. He got one with the help of Phiri ‘fimofimo’ and shortly all the Mulenga will have PHDs from that Makasa university.

  35. Since 1991 this man has cheated Zambia and the global community that he is a journalist when all who are clever knew he was a politician masquerading as a journalist. Frederick Chiluba dumped him from MMD and Mmembe s pride couldn’t allow him to go back and beg for a cabinet post. So he’s now joined PF and he continues to masquerade as a journalist

  36. Any retard who promises to give a stadium to Lozis instead of schools and a university must have dementia and deserves to die a slow death. Munemba has not even been to Mongu in a long while. He does not know what he is taking about. Western Province continues to be abused by Sata, just the way his mentor, Kaunda, did.

  37. The trouble with Zambians is that they talk without facts. There are indicators that show how healthy a country is doing.
When the indicators are good, then the country is doing good.

What is the current exchange rate, what is our GDP, how is our FDI.
Nope all we can see is MMD, PF UPND.

May we forever remain poor because of our ignorance!
A few unplanned roads here and there does not equal development.

    #OneZambia

  38. Let Membe and his journalists visit Lukulu, Mitete, Kaoma and Sesheke among a few districts and then come and publicise the massive development he is talking about. His focus on Mongu is too narrow besides even the development in Mongu cannot be termed as massive development. I was in Mongu recently and i challenge Membe to include Lewanika Gen. Hospital, “government colleges” etc in Mongu in his massive development documentary. Anyway his presentation was a joke realistically.

  39. 5 IMPRESSIVE LESSONS WE HAVE LEARNED:

    1. True Zambians now know which tribe peddled lies to remain in power
by accusing others of being tribalists.
    2. Zambia is slowly moving in good direction of one united country
with one purpose of genuine development, self resourcefulness,
and equality of all individuals, languages and tribes.
    3. Fred Mmembe is now a known crooked journalist with political
ambitions and his lies are catching up with him
    4. Next Zambian president will be voted based on merit and good
credentials and not on populist ticket.
    5. Starting as a cook, train shunter, train conductor, minibus
conductor, ward chairman or whatever, does NOT always make you a
    good president.

  40. Fred your strategy is poor. The timing of telling these stories is all wrongly calculated. Mongu and Mangango are two different places with different political and social being. Fred try to campaign for PF in a better manner next time.

  41. Membe can lead your cow dung manure party better than the under five using Mapatizya formula.Membe is an honesty and hard working man.No amount of unwarranted criticism will move him.

  42. Mmembe is just strategizing. He is praying to his Gods that who ever takes over the leadership of PF from Sata may spare him of all the evils he has been scheming out against the opponents of Kabimba in the on-going intra-party power struggle. The best language he is applying is to praise the PF irrespective as to who takes over the Presidency of the PF Party.

Unfortunately, the political landscape has changed so drastically that the people of Zambia are fed up with the lies being embedded in the PF’s sweet talk to the voters. The wind of change is gathering momentum for better days without PF.

  43. when is satan put to rest. let him die before he initiates many in his evil kingdom
…we must all be happy if that comes TRUE

  44. WHEN I SAW MMEMBE’S NAME ON THE ARTICLE TITLE MY IMMEDIATE FEELING WAS THAT IT WAS GOING TO ATTRACT HOSTILE COMNENTS. TO BE HONEST I ALSO STARTED TO THINK OF MY OWN COMMENT OF HOSTILITY OF EQUAL MEASURE. BUT WHEN I READ ON I WAS SURPRISED BY THE EXCELLENT VIEWS PEOPLE HAVE. IT LEFT ME WONDERING WHAT THE FUSS ABOUT ONLINE WAS ALL ABOUT. MR MMEMBE’S ARTICLE, HOWEVER, MAY BE SHOULD HAVE LINKED DEVELOPMENT TO GDP OR BETTER STILL GONE BACK TO THE BASIC FOUNDATIONS OF PF’S IN DEFINING DEVELOPMENT I.E ‘MORE MONEY IN THE POCKET’ TO DETERMINE WHAT HAS BEEN ACHIEVED. YOU HAVE NOT BEEN IN THE PROVINCE FOR A WHILE? IS IT NOT POSSIBLE THE YOUR BEST ENEMY RB DEVELOPED THE PROVINCE? GUDDAY MY MMEMBE TILL WE SEE YOU AGAIN.

  45. It is very sad and astonishing for a newspaper CEO like Fred M’membe to cheat the world that PF government has brought massive development to the whole country, Zambia. Fred, have you ever visited North Western Province to see how it has been impoverished under the PF rule? Please for courtesy’s sake, send your trusted reporters to document any perceived (narrative and pictorial) development of NWP. Or indeed ask Amos Malupenga to see if he will mention any development in the area. All projects PF has initiated in some parts of Zambia like Pave Zambia, Link Zambia 8000, Tarring of township roads, building clinics and hospitals, etc, nothing has taken place. RDA have the best message “from above ” that No road works be initiated in North Western Province. Please shut up!

  46. Fred M’membe , you said Mazoka , was using the DIALYSIS MACHINE and soon after he died you went for his daughter. Very evil man.
