bible

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

“And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; or else the new wine bursts the wineskins, the wine is spilled, and the wineskins are ruined. But new wine must be put into new wineskins.”

(Mark 2:22, NKJV)

TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria

Are you ready for increase? Are you ready to go to the next level, spiritually, physically and emotionally? Many times, people hear that God has more in store and something resonates on the inside. Their spirit comes into agreement with God, but oftentimes, their natural mind will be bombarded with doubt.

Thoughts will come like, “It’s not going to happen for you. You’re not going to have a great year. You know what the economy is like.” Or, “You’re never going to get well. You saw what the medical report said.” “You’re never going to get married. You’ve been single so long.”

Those are old wineskins; the old way of thinking that you have to get rid of. This is a new season. What’s happened in the past is over and done. You may have been through some disappointments; you may have tried and failed, or things didn’t work out. That’s okay. God is still on the throne. It’s time to get a new vision for your life. It’s time for new thinking. You can’t move forward with old mindsets. Let go of the old and embrace the new so you can receive all of the blessings God has in store for you!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father, today I choose to release old thinking, old habits and anything that would keep me from Your best. Strengthen me by Your Spirit so that I can live in faith and embrace the new life You have in store for me in Jesus’ name. Amen.

  1. And thats what Zambians did, they put votes in old-skinned Sata. Change ASAP before all wine is spoiled, transfer the wine votes into a HH in 2016.
    Zambia shall be saved.
    God bless you all.

  2. Fifth installment
Whom did they see at the tomb?

MAT 28:2 And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.
MAT 28:3 His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow:
MAT 28:4 And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men.
MAT 28:5 And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.

MAR 16:5 And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were affrighted.

LUK 24:4 And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments:

    JOH 20:12 And seeth…

    • JOH 20:12 And seeth two angels in white sitting, the one at the head, and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain.

so who exactly did they see at the tomb? one angel, two angels, and where were these angels standing? outside, inside, at either end of where jesus supposedly lay? How can a word inspired by the all powerful God have such inconsistencies.

  3. “Father, today I choose to release old thinking, old habits and anything that would keep me from Your best. Strengthen me by Your Spirit so that I can live in faith and embrace the new life You have in store for me in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

Utterly ludicrous prayer especially for an Afrikan….its prayers like this that have our people brainwashed and continue perpetuating this selfsame lie. People research and read more about self, Afrikan consciousness and the true will set you free.

  4. Good message because it builds good attitude. It is interesting to note that in Psychology they have Mental Laws just as we have Natural Laws in science. In natural science we have natural laws e.g. the law of gravity. The law of motion.. etc. It is interesting to note that mental laws are consistent with this message. The first mental law is:- “The Law of Belief”, which simply put states that whatever you believe with feeling becomes your reality. You are the sum total of your belief system up to this moment. Your belief forms a screen of logic and prejudices thru which you see the entire world.
So, question:- Where do our beliefs come from?, Answer:- Our beliefs come from our self-concept. Everyone has a self concept. It is the controlling factor of our performance and is a … Cont’d

    • Cont’d…..is a combination of all the ideas, thoughts, experiences, images etc.. we have accumulated over the course of our lives.
And where does our Self-Concept come from? Psychologists say self-concept and attitude are interrelated. A positive attitude is a very good prerequisite for success. A Harvard study showed that 85% of human accomplishments are due to attitude, and only 15% are due to aptitude.
So, when I look at today’s message, whether from the psychological point of view, or from the natural science point of view, it all points to orderliness, to the Creator, and not the big bang theory by itself.

    • Ati najaila kukopopola ka? How? So, are you saying if as an Engineer I quote Newton’s Laws of motion, or the Law of Gravity to explain God’s Creation then its okay, but if I quote any Mental Laws I have taken time to study in Psychology and apply them to explain God’s Creation, then it becomes kukopolola? Are you saying because I am an Engineer, I am not capable of understanding Psychology? Please explain your comment if you are a mature person. You sound like you have self-limiting beliefs. Prove me wrong.
