Star striker Ronald Kampamba is in the 20-member Nkana squad that left for Ivory Coast ahead of Saturday’s crucial CAF Confederation Cup final Group B match against Sewe Sport set for Abidjan.
Kampamba was declared fit on Monday- a week after national team doctor Joseph Kabungo said his ankle injury would side-line him for about two weeks.
He trained on Monday afternoon.
However, Nkana are missing suspended winger Simon Bwalya and injured defender Christopher Munthali.
And the Nkana delegation comprising of 20 players, coaches, officials and health experts left Lusaka’s Kenneth Kaunda International Airport around 07h20 on Tuesday morning.
The delegation led by FAZ treasurer Kelvin Mutafu was seen off at the airport by Pastor Peter Makembo.
Nkana must beat Sewe in Ivory Coast to be sure of qualifying to the semi-finals.
