MMD National Secretary Muhabi Lungu has warned former Petauke Central MP Dora Siliya that he will start the process of expelling her from the party if she continues undermining the party leadership.
Mr Lungu said it is clear that Ms Siliya is on a path to destruction and does not hold the best interest of the party.
He said the recent statements from Ms Siliya on the state of the MMD are unfortunate and have the potential to bring the party into disrepute.
Mr Lungu was speaking Tuesday morning when he featured on a live Let the People Talk radio programme in Lusaka.
“I will be compelled to start the process of expelling Ms Siliya from the party because clearly her actions in the recent past have been damaging to the party,” Mr Lungu said.
He also announced that the MMD will discipline its officials in Mangango who were campaigning for other political parties during the just ended by election in the area.
She has caused unrepairable damage to the once Mighty MMD.Why not expel her ?
Praying for MMD, for grace to fight these battles with wisdom so that the party may come out stronger, only God knows the source of these infighting and motivations. May the peace of Christ rest upon MMD so that they may focus on the tasks ahead for the nation with clarity.
MMD should basically take a long term plan for the restructuring of the Party.I listened to Muhabi on Radio Phoenix and I share his views.For the moment,the party should immediately take drastic measures and boot out all those whose vision is not with the party.If at the end of it the party will remain with a hand full of committed members,the party should build from there. Losing by elections should not bother the party at this moment.

It is clear that Dora has deliberately set herself on a war path with MMD and she doesn’t give a damn about it. Take care James this woman is tough, she will bruise MMD badly. Like her or hate her, this woman is tough and seems to enjoy a fight with men.

Dora just resign do not wash dirty linen in public like you did with your marriage, it is unfortunate that education does nothing to some people. She is working with PF to destroy MMD though what she is saying may be true she could have done it in a more dignified way, not the way she is attacking her own camp. Lungu she wants you to expel her so that she can stand on PF, she feels she is very popular that she will win in her own capacity and with the backing of government machinery. The majority of voters for MMD are now Bembas who like voting for tribe instead of quality; and majority of UPND voters are Tongas who have absolutely no political tact. As for PF the only person who seems to be winning them seats is Kabimba, whom they hate. The rest in PF are a naturally dull tribal grouping, who think tribe is better than brains.

The game is up for Dora. She is one of the main people who irritated us Zambians so much during the three years of RB and we booted them out. She ran around the country with that Ka Sampa chap with undisclosed amounts of money. RB was in her apron. Some of this money remains un accounted for and some of it popped up in her son’s accounts. K2 billion unrebased.
Now she seems to have been blackmailedd to get rid of Nevers or else PF will bring up that case. That is why the Petauke seat is in a check mate stalemate. They have probably told her to put more fire to make sure Nevers goes. But it will not work. Such corrupt characters have no place in the New MMD.
Surely does Muhabi think Dora is still member of MMD? How can she stand on a ticket of a dying party? Suspending her is laughable. Dora suspended herself long time ago. I can assure Muhabi that Dora will either stand on UPND or as an Independent. She certainly cannot stand on MMD’s ticket, not with you Muhabi and Nevers running affairs there. You have killed MMD, maybe for you it is too harsh but your boss Nevers has killed MMD. If Nevers continues as MMD president , it will be like UNIP and Tilwenji, Dead!
Dora and her band of praise singers choose to deliberately exhibit selective amnesia. It does not take a genius to know that once a ruling party loses power, they suffer a long period of stagnation and even decline. it is a normal part of political party dynamic and NOTHING to do with Nevers. Intact I must say MMD has faired well when you consider the onslaught on its current leadership, by detractors from within and outside the party, including unfortunately other opposition political parties.
Dora is one of the main reasons for MMD’s loss in Sept 2011.
