    • LOL, Kabimba is goners now. Next is the whole lot PF. See you on 19th sept bwana Sata.

    • I hope Kabimba now comes out and states which party is the most tribal and violent. If he ends up quiet like Lubinda he will be boring and useless. I’m not saying he was useful either.

    • I think Lubinda has been quoted out of context here.He is actually saddened by Wynter’s dismissal like most of us rational ones.No need celebrating the downfall of another man.

    • Its true Kabimba has fallen but in politics, there are no permanent friends or enemies.

This is just a big lesson to Kabimba and he can make a political come back after making a deeper reflection on what has happened to him

    • Everyone has celebrated the sacking of Wynter Kabimba.I am certainly one of those celebrating and l now await the actions of our “inactive investigative wings” and see whether or not their eyes shall now open to the corrupt dealings of Kabimba.
The celebrations themselves are a further indictment of just how politically imature Zambians are. Only last week a whole contingent of PF cadres where around Kabimba’s delegation campaigning in Mangango. Only yesterday, we here that Kabimba was in Solwezi campaigning and I imagine the PF lot were singing praises for him as PF Secretary General. Today and the following days will be full of “approval sentiments” following his sacking and how “bad Kabimba was for PF”. How two faced can people be? It is only Kambili n GBM who qualify to…

    • Yes we stopped celebrating.
We are just glad that we change the game, it was just too much of heavy politics… a political party without jokes?
Remember in MMD we had funny people who entertained us:
      – RB with kanitundila issues
      – G.Kunda with Chansa Kabwela’s naked pictures
      – Dora with her balms and boobs
      – Mutati sleeping with other MPs
      – Ka Mulongoti
The heavy one I could compare Kabimba to was Tetamashimba, but him just died not fired.
      We need the:
      – drunken Lubinda
      – drunken Lungu
      – Loose Sylvia Masebo
And King Ngoshe himself to call other “ulichipuba, you are all useless”. such you know are good politics.

    • OK, Zambians let’s calm down now. So, shall the ACC call Kabimba again for that interview about Trafigura Oil Deal where the Director was threatened and later cleared Kabimba without ever being interviewed??

    • @Suntwe, no no no not ifyo ifya oil deals. Just leave Kabimba alone, he deserves some peace and we too need rest. We had ENOUGH of him….. my goodness that guy is hard core. Does he even drink beer like new SG Lungu?

    • Who are you cheating Mr. Lubinda? I know you are celebrating the removal of Kabimba who you think was responsible for your dismissal. Yes, I am sure you are now playing the ” Chaona Muzako chapita mawa chili paiwe” song. The crisis in Zambia is that we have intellectuals like Kabimba and yourself who behave like uneducated cadres. No Intelligence used whatsoever. You were all sucking up to Sata. Kabimba’s cadre syndrome has killed him. He has been kicked out of the party he thought was his for the taking. How does he bounce back now? No chance. Even his colleague Mmembe and Guy Scott will run away from him. There are already lining up to Sata with stories of “We told him so”. Kabimba played his cards very badly. Now his only hope is to prove that Sata is not the one who fired him but…

  1. The title is misleading as Lubinda did not necessarily say ‘Kabimba has fallen from Hero to Zero’ He actually sympathises with his loss of both his jobs. I wish Kabimba luck in the future and I hope his dismissal will give him a platform to reflect so that he could be a better person next time around

    • Amayama
“Kabwata Member of Parliament Given Lubinda “SAID” Former Justice Minister Wynter Kabimba has fallen from Hero to Zero”. This is the first line in the article! HOW CAN YOU MISS IT?. Infact Lubinda is just being “diligent and polite” in his sharing of his delight in the turn of events. The use of “I sympathise with him” in this case may mean that “Lubinda can relate to how Kabimba is feeling” having lost a top job himself..but he goes on to imply that “it has to be worse for Kabimba since he has lost two jobs”. The following confirms what he exactly thinks “I wish Kabimba luck in the future and I hope his dismissal will give him a platform to reflect so that he could be a better person next time around” i.e Kabimba is not a good person”.

  2. I will miss Wynter.I’m just wishing that it was a mistake of some sort. His confidence and go getter attitude has been mistaken for being too pompous and boastful.

    • What!!? @ Saulosi, who is a goal getter? Is the PF’s company Ilunda Chalo LTD doing, who will be CEO now?
I feel you. Of course its very Zambian to celebrate when are other a sick, fail exams or get fired.
But listen Kabimba we know is not the Kabimba a parent of someone, its Kabimba a PF hooligan.

    • @Saulosi,
My English is not as good as Bemba language.
Don’t take this Kabimba issue to your soul. Remember even Lubinda was fired. Kabimba will be just fine, there has been so many politicians they come and go. Fired or loose elections.
Yes Kabimba can be man of the Year 2014, but in a bad way!
I will rather be worried about Chris Katongo’s football career than Kabimba’s political career.

    • The majority of the public didnt like him. Its not. Only his boastful attitude but his lack of respect for his party members and political opponents. This is the first I have seen that a minister get so little public sympathy and his dismissal is viewed as a relief. There is no go.getter attitude, just plain am always right and won’t compromise attitude. Hopefully this makes him humble and a better person. He labelled your party tribal for heaven sake, so.he could get wat he wanted and u call that go getter??? SMH

  3. Well aticulated Mr Given.Mr Given, please napapata!!Can you please give me one of your daughters pantu am willing to stop ubuchende & other funny behaviours mweba pongoshi to be!Muletipo shani aini?

  4. There is really nothing to celebrate about. Lubinda himself when Sata fired him, we never head any derogatory statement from Kabimba. In my views there is really nothing Kabimba has lost.

The position GS requires some one who is outgoing. I do not think that Edgar has what it takes to be a General Secretary. I intend to agree with Mushota that this is a very big mistake by SATA to fire Kabimba.

I have not head or seen Chikwanda, Kambwili or even Edgar Lungu going out to cmapaign for the party. Kambwili and Chikwanda are so pre occupied in protecting the presidence than anything else. The two behave as if the PF presidence is a chiefdom. To me the current crop of politician apart from Z yellow himself, Guy Scot and Michael Sata are not fit to management PF.

  5. @ Saulosi having confidence and a go getta attitude is a good attribute in business. In politics it’s a whole different game which Kambimbi did not understand. He needs to get some communication skills lessons at Evelyn Hone or something.

  6. My goodness I think it really hasn’t yet sunk in muli Wynter’s mind. All the VIP treatment, gone. No more motorcades, no more rubbing shoulders with high class dignitaries, no more travelling to Sudan for meetings, no more plane and helicopter rides across the country, no more TV interviews, no more political rallies, no more kickbacks from investors, no more fuel, mealie etc for free, no more talktime allowances, no more entourages, no more Parliament………if I didn’t hate this bugger so much, I would have even pretended to feel sorry for him.

  7. Africa will never develop because of such petty jealousy.Kabimba was a hard worker and i cant imagine chikwanda and kambwili adding any value to the party….its shameful for pipo to be worshiping tribalism in this era and age,

  8. LT you started very well but u are now being unfair by not publishing certain articles…wher is your professionalism ?

  9. In as much as I did not think much about Kabimba or any of the PF govt. cadres, I would like to assess this from a procedural and legitimacy point of view. Who actually fired Kabimba? We have not had any inkling of the President doing any work in the last few months. He has not appeared in motion nor has anyone outside a small circle of people been allowed to see him. All indications are that this has been because he is incapable of doing anything out of his own volition or even in self-propalsion. So how could he possibly have issued an instrument that purports to fire a member of the cabinet and party chief? Has he the mental capacity to recognise what has been going on and make decisons to that effect? His hand has been pushed, me thinks, as they say.

  10. How come he has been fired as SG, wasn’t an elected position? I understand being fired from the ministerial position, but from SG the party should have a say. Was he just hand picked even for SG position?

    • Firstly, he was hand picked by Sata as Secretary General of the Party. There were no elections. Secondly, he was nominated MP and appointed Minister of Justice. The man was purely at the mercy of the King Cobra. He is not a politician but a chancer.

  11. its hero to zero chi calas. the monkey thought it was smart. evans mfula at evaduco reporting live from the suburbs of lusaka

  12. This guy should have changed his name frm wynter to summer maybe he would not have been fired hehe elo lelo nipa friday I ‘ll be celebrating ku kabwata naba lubinda.

  13. Ms. Mushota is right to say that the move to fire Mr. Kabimba was a mistake because Mr. Kabimba was parsley spice for PF where campaigns was required or defending his party against the attackers was always there to defend his party . Too bad!

  14. “Hero to Zero” by Maxi Priest!! It happens everywhere. But be cautious as you will discover that Kabimba has been redeployed into the foreign service or such similar sinkhole. Be very wary…

  15. The fact remains and much to my consternation that it was a Bemba clique that orchestrated Kabimba’s dismissal and finally out-maneuvered him at the power game. Much as Kabimba may have had his own short-comings, it behooves us to realize that the camp of those who have fallen victims to Bemba tribalism is much larger.

There were those among the fallen, who were politically astute who, for lack of blemish, had to be killed in order to eliminate them from the political race. Now 50 years after independence, it is Bemba tribalism, more than anything else, that Zambians must be most weary of.

  16. Kabimba you made a lot of enemies on your way up now who will be your sympathisers in your fall from grace? the celebrating youths in PF shows how much enemity you created by believing that it was time to become president of PF. You got rid of Lubinda and made his life in PF a living hell now you have tasted your own medicine.U hope you will take this bitter pill with in humbleness and have a lot of time to reflect and see how you can be a good citizen to mother Zambia at 50.

  17. In Zambia we celebrate anything that comes, we celebrated Rupiah Banda’s arrests, we celebrate when we hear that this leader that leader is sick, we celebrate when we hear that the bishop has been arrested, we celebrate when hear that a teacher has been arrested we celebrate when we hear that the a president has died, we celebrate when we hear that a police officer has been picked up for questioning, this is because we lack entertainment, recreation centers and other sports facilities. it is important for the current government to consider building facilities which will help entertain the community as opposed to celebrating useless things which comes across.
