Zambia Police has denied sending Intelligence Officers to conduct a search on the Former Justice Minister, Winter Kabimba’s office. In statement released to the media, Acting Public Relations Officer Esther Mwaata-Katongo, said that Zambia Police would investigate the people behind the act.
The Post Newspaper today reported that an attempt to conduct a search on Mr Kabimba’s house yesterday flopped.

In today’s Post Newspaper dated 1st September, 2014, we have, as Zambia Police, been reported to have sent our Intelligence Officers to conduct a search on the Former Justice Minister, Winter Kabimba’s office.
We would like to refute these allegations and categorically state that as Zambia Police, we have not in whatever manner conducted any search on the former Minister’s office.
Whenever we have conducted such searches, we have done them in a transparent manner.
We will however institute investigations to establish the people behind the act and pretending to be Intelligence officers from our institution.

I always wonder what the post still want from the upnd. They always quote them and yet they are on record saying that the upnd are not news worth. Could we say there is everything wrong with them (the post)? Just wanted to squeeze this comment though it is unrelated to the above publication. I was just reading the post that is why.
Kabimba was a only functioning minister in pf government .he used to fight corruption & sometimes back he tried to probe corruption under judiciary .No any minister in pf can much Wynter Kabimba in terms of performance.
Have never seen such desperation from Fred MuMmembe in quite a while. For your info fred, we will dig out all that’s hidden in your closet and expose all the dirty deals you’ve been up to with your buddy.

Teku sabailafye ba Post nabo, what is so difficult about a government wing searching a government office? I mean Kabimba is no longer in the office, so the police can simply go to Hon Edgar Lungu and seek his permission to conduct a search. However, if the story is true , could it be the cartel trying to retrieve critical information before it falls in the wrong hands?
Unfortunately for the Post, the majority of us have to learn to trust them again, mindful that doing so is at our own peril of course!

For example not so far back every reasonable Zambian was saying Sata is not well – what did you say to these guys? You insulted and scorned them!! Now today, you tell us Sata is not well?? When innocent opposition leaders were raided by PF police(on the cartel’s instruction) you rejoiced. Now other cartel members are raiding your cartel, you cry foul, see how bad oppression is???

If its the house, then mr kabimba cud be in a position to know some of them. I say so bcoz when he was informed by the wife about the incidence at around 02hrs according to zambia report.com, he came & gave them some car keys.

Why have people forgotten about Saviour Chungu, the former OP Boss who runs a parallel security system for Sata. He is behind all this. He is the type who believes in Bemba supremacy.
