Patriotic Front (PF) Deputy Secretary General Bridget Atanga says it is up to Wynter Kabimba to determine his future in the ruling party following his dismissal as PF Secretary General and Justice Minister.
Ms. Atanga says she cannot speak on behalf of Mr. Kabimba especially that he himself has remained silent following his dismissal.
She says no one in the party knows what Mr. Kabimba is thinking and planning at the moment.
Asked what Mr Kabimba’s status is with regards his position of President of the Council of African Political Parties (CAPP), Ms. Atanga has told a media briefing in Lusaka that she does not know.
And Ms.Atanga has directed party members to stop holding public demonstrations against elected or appointed party officials.
She says her directive follows consultation with party Secretary General Edgar Lusaka after reports of planned demonstrations against Southern Province PF Chairman Daniel Munkombwe and frictions in the PF in Mandevu constituency following the sacking of Mr. Kabimba.
Ms. Atanga has reminded party members especially the youths that demonstrations against elected or appointed officials are tantamount to indiscipline and disloyalty to the party leadership.
The PF Deputy Secretary says the ruling party has communication channels where complaints against any party member or official can be tabled and adequately attended to.
Well said. I just hope Wynter is taking this time to seriously reflect on his next move. I am missing the man to be honest. I`m struggling to come to terms with PF without Wynter . Anyway the party is bigger than any individual. Long live PF !!

Winter is silent because he has been dismissed only in Public. He has a gag order by lieu of a payoff from Sata.

@Nubian Princess; your analysis is partly right, however, my sources say it’s more to do with the documents found at Kabimba’s home after the police search. Those documents are enough to charge Kabimba with misprison of Treason. Kabimba has been check mated by “gently” threatening him with being charged with treason if he dare spills the beans. And treason charge is unbailable. Would Wynter survive?
He is not a factor any where. He has never won an election. He failed even in his home Town in Mumbwa. Do not create heavy storms in a cup. He was not the first Secretary of PF he found work was already done. In short he is just a chancer. Chimimbwa, Lifekelo, Chileshe and Mumbi did the ground work while they served as PF National Secretaries.
I feel for Wynter.Sata did to him what FJT did did to him(Sata).What goes around comes around indeed.

May God bless Wynter and open the eyes of Zambians so that they see what he stood for. Let us not just condemn him. The president is very clever and experienced politicians you might not know because he has not yet inform any body the he fired Kabimba. You will be caught red handed.

Pf is the most indisciplined party in Zambia. who is the spokesperson of this party,because it appears that anyone can issue press statements. it is the first time in the history of this country that mere party cadres can match to a govt office and close it. constitutional offices being closed by pf mere cadres ,its amazing at the level of indiscipline going about pf an perpetrator are never punished .the DCs have suffered at the hands of these ruthless cadres.

Almost all members of PF never contributed so much as Kabimba did in PF kingdom. Kabimba was/is the chief architect and legal representative of PF as a party on which Mr Sata depended wholly on party issues. At last has been hounded out and disgraced not only to PF membership but the entire political life of Kabimba is ca put.
True, our political independence we enjoy today was fought for by others we hardly know.
Are there elected party officials in PF? I thought all where appointed by one cobra at that sham general conference.

It’s a pity that today Winter is a hero among these tiny chicken brain UPND cadres who used to despise him left, right n center and held huge celebrations when he was fired. They were warned that the PF will emerge stronger after winter this scenario and it was going to work against their regional party that tries to balance the act appointing numerous vice presidents.
Why is membe so concerned. Membe truely believed he was in of charge of PF. Truth is that Fred membe and winter both rode on sataz back. If it were not so Winter would have formed a poltical party by now causing a split in PF today. Bigest mistake for sata is that the due are the ones keeping all the secrete pf deals. This explains why membe keep refering to corruption in Pf

Don’t even bother to talk too much about Wynter Kabimba and his contribution to PF. It won’t be long before we start hearing reports of dark-corner consultation meetings. Because bembas are usually consumed by their tribalism, right now they think they are clever. But actually the dynamics have changed, most of us in Zambia now actually know what kind of people Bembas are and there is no way PF is going to win another presidential election…even if it was standing against a frog. In 2016, it will be up to HH to lose the election, although he is also an a_hole – but at least with HH he is young and so he might change his st.u.p.i.d.i.t.y when he realises while in power…so HH will actually get my vote, unless a better i.d.i.o.t. shows up as a presidential candidate.
Now what is this “Wynter mini-bandwagon’ I see on this blog. Wynter is done and dusted. By dusted I mean he is farming. It is farming season, let the man farm in peace.
