Foreign Affairs Minister Harry Kalaba has assured the nation that no Zambian died in the accident at the Synagogue Church of all Nations when the Church’s Guest House collapsed.
Nigerian Government figures place the number of people that have died in the accident which occurred last Friday at over 55 years.
Many international visitors Synagogue Church of all Nations seeking TB Joshua’s prayers are accommodated at the Guest House as they await their turn to be prayed for.
An increasing number of Zambians are said to frequent the Synagogue Church of all Nations seeking divine intervention for various ailments.
But Mr Kalaba has assured that there is no Zambian who has died in the accident at the Synagogue Church of all Nations.
He said the Zambian Mission in Nigeria has kept close eye on the matter and has reported back that there was no Zambian involved.
Mr Kalaba also implored those travelling abroad to register their presence with the Zambian Mission in that respective country.
Kulolela before you could announce because you will disappointed to hear that 5 Zambians have died or some Zambian Parents are seeking help from Govt to ferry the corpses. South Africa 7 have died..I wonders how Zambia can miss from this because the way they were registering names in Mwanawansa Stadium?/?? Kaya
Why didn’t the so called man of God not see this coming? He is busy predicting the death of some elderly president in Southern Africa soon, but surely could he be a little more specific? I personally think he is a big con who has become very wealthy indeed.
First it’s too early to claim that no Zambians died in this tragedy, secondly, the Zambian mission in Abuja has no reliable staff to undertake this task. I travel regularly on this route on Ethiopian Airlines, there are hoards of Zambians and Zimbabweans on this flight flocking to Nigeria for this purpose of prayers, I find it unbelievable that only South Africans could have been so unfortunate to lose 67 of their nationals( MTSRIP). It is most likely that the Zambian High Commission does not even know that their nationals are there.
Kalaba can’t start declaring and close the case just after 5 days of such an accident. His announcement has cleared the Insurance company for TB Josua. Was that the reason Dagota wanted to meet a PF minister, was it to cover over up TB Joshua’s gonga cement supplied to Nigeria?
Zambians don’t need to travel to die in a building collapse – our own buildings will kill us due to poor construction methods which our builders are trying to copy from other countries, but then proceed to implement them with understanding those methods. some of the first buildings to collapse include those two new buildings at Arcades Shopping Centre (the one behind the BP Fuel Station and the other one just behind Times Café night Club). These multi-storey buildings are a structural Engineering calamity in waiting, with brickwork merely placed on top of wobbly steel work that is visibly buckling even before construction works are completed. I wonder who has been bribed to approve this mess!!! or is it that we just don’t have anyone knowledgeable enough to see these problems? KAYA!
It is highly unlikely, highly improbable that NO ZAMBIANS were involved in the accident that happened at the Nigerian Synagogue! This ba.foon. simply doesn’t want to admit that they don’t even have a monitoring system of detecting how many Zambians entered Nigeria in the past month, or fortnight etc. They run government with no clue of what to do, when to do them, how to do them, and why? They think you get to government and steal all the money you can lay your filthy hands!!! Tell your commission in Nigeria to do their job, we need to know whether some of our Zambian brothers and sisters have lost their lives and need to be brought to rest on home soil!! My concern is the way Christians these days are now dependent on prophecy instead of seeking God personally.(Hebrews 1:1-2)In the past God spoke to our people through the prophets. He spoke to them many times and in many different ways. And now in these last days, God has spoken to us again through his Son.
God is every where and those who seek will find him.
In Jeremiah 29:13, the Lord says, “You will seek Me and find Me when you … to God before, but you honestly want to know if He is the real deal.
God reveals Himself to those that seek Him earnestly. (Deuteronomy 4:29 NKJV) “But from there you will seek the LORD your God, and you will find Him if you seek

Maybe you should have said “My concern is the way Christians these days are now dependent on PROPHETS instead of seeking God personally”. Brother/Sister, Yes, Christians need PROPHECY more than ever before because prophecy is the Word of God. Prophecy interprets the written word and I am made to believe that our brother in Christ, T B Joshua has become “famous” because of the way he preaches the Word of God. He does not complicate it but simplifies it without diluting it. If at all he is a con, then he is a very positive con when it comes to preaching the Word.
I believe that T B Joshua is being attacked by the devil in order to bring shame upon him as punishment for his steadfastness and consistent work. Remember Stephen and Job’s fate?
Why would he need to communicate through a disaster???? Does he sit down and say “Hmmm, I need to communicate with my believers, Let’s see, maybe I’ll cause a disaster, kill a few people and that will let them know what I’m saying” A purely inefficient God at best. At worst, a sadistic being.
TB should be brought to account and made to pay reparations to the families, But of course no one will sue because “it’s from God”.
Did Joshua prophesy about the collapsing of his building? If he had done so, people would have avoided the building therefore saving many lives. I can only say that his prophesy is strong around the pending death of a Southern African leader.
@Jojo,This is not the time for that.God did not say that prophets must know everything.What they speak comes from the the Holy Spirit.God allowed it to happen for a purpose.Let’s stand with him and the relatives of those who lost their lives.

An indictment TB Joshua to foresee the choice of building Engineers he engages and even prophesy the collapse and evacuate people in advance. May be God allowed it shall we believe?
Lets thank God that no Zambian died? What if there were Zambians that died in the collapse, what would you have done or said to God? Death is death, does not matter if it is not Zambian, but some people have died in this disaster.
What we should asking is what happened for the church to collapse. Obvious indicators point to shoddy workmanship or use of non-spec materials to build a six-storied guest house. This guy Joshua should be brought to book if the inspectors find any shortcuts in the way the extensions to the building were implemented. Actually this is the 4th ‘church’ building belonging to Temitope that has collapsed, yes 4th!

This is the biggest sacrifice. If was actually prophesied by one pastor in Congo. The professy continues to say a similar event is about to happen in SADC neigbouring DRC country where a big church is being built. The prophet was Christians not to get anywhere near churches under construction or just completed.

South Africa has lost 67 and 18 still unacounted for. TB Joshua had his merry-men are still not sharing details with any one, not the Nigerian Govmnt or RSA. To make matter worse TB is alleging that a low flying plane which I must looks like ‘pungwa’ on the video is the cause of the building collapse and pointing his bloody fingers at Bok-Haran. As we all know this is nonsence. This building collapsed bcoz of lack of wisdom by TBS. You can not extend a 4 stoli building to 6 without strengthing the foundation and the support pillars. And this is what TBS do.
Christians must be vigilant. Make sure that you involve local authorities and adhere to their guidelines when constructing structures. The TB Joshua building collapse is a result of not following guidelines. However, we cannot blame the servant of God alone for this disaster. Lagos is famous for poorly constructed structures because of corruption in the local authorities. Some of the people surrounding brother TB Joshua are not genuine believers. You can tell this by their “unfriendliness” when you phone the advertised phone lines. Remember that even the Lord’s 12 had Judas!
As Christians we are brothers and sisters regardless of citizenship. We cannot rejoice because Zambians did not perish there. South Africans and others are all brethren and we therefore mourn them equally.
Man Of God, i pray that God Almighty through his Holy Spirit give u the Grace that u need in these situation,and more of his divine WISDOM to handle it IJN
May the lord God heal as from this tragedy. Wise people knows that man has no power to take away such hidden dangers. Please tb don’t blame others or yourself for such a tragedy. We leave in a world in which we cannot be very careful. Even Jesus did save himself when it came to his end on earth.

God has taught this truth to T B Joshua and his followers in a very hard way. There is so much similarities between T B Joshua’s hotel tower and Nimrods tower of babel. Both of them were towers of idolatry, exalting man over God. Acts 4:12 says “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus…) Once you exalt man over Jehovah then just know your dooms day has arrived. Our friends would still be alive today if only they knew this. God says in Hosea 4:6 that “My people perish from lack of knowledge, because you have rejected knowledge, I also have will reject you….” Onlt the Lord is God!
This so called man of god should have had enough common sense to know that you can’t add more floors to the building without strengthening the foundation. He should be arrested and prosecuted for mass murder.
I’m relieved to hear that we don’t have as many foo.lish people in Zambia as I thought we had. Foo.lish people are those people who think their poverty and emotional problems will be solved by borrowing money from the bank to travel to Nigeria to be prayed for by another mere human being whose own list of sins he has committed you don’t know. TB Joshua is a con: people must come to that realisation. There is absolutely no link between Joshua and God. A few days ago, Joshua stood up and said he had seen an aeroplane flying over his guest lodge and that it is the one that caused the collapse. What nonsense is that? The building collapsed because he violated basic civil engineering principles: if you ant to build more floors, strengthen the foundation. God is not there to save i.d.i.o.ts.

Why travel to Nigeria? you mean there is no Jesus here? the bible and Jesus himself indicates that he never used to heal people but ,their faiths did,jesus used to tell those that followed him for healing that your faith has healed you.Just have faith and pray to your father in secret and the almighty father who hears in secrete will heal you Matthew 6 vs 6. only those the spiritual blind will continue to die because of lack of knowledge
