    • ine Shocked!!! mugabe made the cut on the high table!!! ,,,, Sata must be in a bad shape,, how does he fly all the way to New york, just to go and sit in a hotel room watching american TV??,,,does it mean that Zambia has no NICE hotel rooms such that Sata got so excited to be in one and refused to leave the room,,,, he laid there in bed watching american TV everyay while UN conference is going on

    • Folks

Jokes aside. Its time to be calm and encourage each other that all will be fine should nature take its course. Lets remain focussed on what the country needs to achieve and take each day as it comes.

Anything is highly possible anytime from now.

    • Where is President Sata? Were we not informed that he was going for UN Head of States meeting? Bottoms are Up indeed in Zambia!!! He would have watched the proceedings of the sumit here at home than him travelling to go and watch it in New York.

  1. Beautiful pictures but we wanted pictures of our president not Hon Kalaba or Dr Kaseba. Please release pictures of the president talking to Mr.
Mugabe and Mr. Kabila in New York this week. \not last year.

  2. FOOLS!! Where is the president? PF machinery at work. Lusaka times you are equally useless as a media house for not asking this question.

  3. I like picture no 20! I man representing, meanwhile in Zambia they ridicule us for having dreads. I Kaseba’s husband is not dead, no remorse on her face yet the husband is battling for his life.

    • Why are you people blaming Kaseba kansi? Sata is his own person, just like all the Zambian presidents before him. Too much power even when they have none left in them. Do you even know what information Kaseba is working with? Cut her some slack, alright? Just like there are numerous ways to raise a child, there is no one way of looking after an ailing argumentative husband. Going by the remarks by the president himself in parley last week, she’s got him covered —- Well.

For instance, where was Mrs Chiluba when her husband died?

    • Obesity or just greed and gluttony while the people back home are starving?

Each dish of food there costs US$600, and there are five each meal.

    • Some of you will to live to grow old because of your useless hatred for other people. Have respect for other persons, wa mbwa wee!!! Ukwa, is he you friend! As a matter of facts, yo HH will never lead Zambia because he is the one who poisoned his friend when the two had lunch; i.e. nshima with pigeons. We all know about this. His beginning in politics is very unfortunate because it was founded on tribalism and chasing away Saki and ba Patrick Chisanga because they eminate from regions other than Southern. Even if Sata died today, sensible person from Luapula, Muchinga, Northern, Central, Lusaka and Copperbelt will overwhemingly vote for HH. HH ni imfwiiti big time….!!!

  4. I can see the photo of MUGABE the worst critic of British but where is our SATA? Mulenga SATA ADDRESSING the press he said he talked to his father this morning, but we want to see him talking to other delegates not in hotel room.

  5. Pic #12,
Former British Prime minister’s wife is Cherie Blair not ‘Shelly’.
Thomas Nsama is a seasoned journalist who ought to know what to do when unsure of something.

  6. Darling, go home, your husband is ill.
Is he ill? Let them give him a pill.
Oh, come my dear Franz, just one more dance,
Then I’ll go home to my poor old man,
Then I’ll go home to my poor old man.
Darling, go home, your husband is worse.
Is he worse? Well I am no nurse.
Oh, come my dear Franz, just one more dance,
Then I’ll go home to my poor old man,
Then I’ll go home to my poor old man.
Darling, go home, your husband is dead.
Is he dead? There’s no more to be said
Oh, come my dear Franz, just one more dance,
Then I’ll go home to my poor old man,
Then I’ll go home to my poor old man.
Darling, go home, the will’s to be read
What’s that you said? I said the will’s to be read.
Oh, no, no, my dear Franz, this is no time to dance,
I must go weep for my poor old…

    • @Deep Thinker,

You have wonderfully made my day and cheered me up with this oldie but goodie and memorable song by Miriam Makeba and Harry Belafonte. It’s made me feel the nostalgia.
My uncle in Francistown has it on a stylus record and I love playing it during my holiday.
      Thanks Deep Thinker.

    • Now, sharp witted as the song is, it is wrongly applied here! Dr Kaseba is clearly a dutiful wife. A caring and clearly a cheerful companion for her husband. No one can doubt it. All their pictures together show a happy laughing couple. Sata lights up when his delightful young wife is with him.

Of all the on goings, currently, she is the least to blame. It must be a very complex situation for her, one in which she can only be respectful to her husbands current problems. It’s unfair to make her ‘collateral damage’ in the fight for office. Hardly anyone makes malicious comments on HH’s wife even cadres leave her out of it.

  7. Where is the President of Zambia? What was the purpose of him going to New York when he knew that He was not fit? He was supposed to just send somebody instead of wasting money for so many people for nothing.

  8. To fly all the way to NYC with a 38 man entourage….only to hide in a hotel room. Zombies wake up this deadwood is a huge liability to the taxpayer maybe this trip was for Christine’s benefit to network.
And even the cost of a state funeral have not been added.

    • @JayJay who are Zombies and dead wood please desist from using bad language,Lets pray the President remains well to leave us to concentrate on other more pressing national issues..

  9. Tony Blair was shown on BBC pleading for Brits to Join the Coalition againts ISIL in Paliament in London, Barack Obama is in DC. What are African leaders still donig in NYC??

  10. Wonderful pictures. Dr kaseba’s outfits are very well put together. The outfits have complex patterns and excellent colour combinations. All together less garish than the usual African fabrics. She or her stylist picked very well particularly, in pictures:
    11. Blue and reds chitenge style, later she colour combos a lighter sheer red scarf in 26
Most successful is the colour combination in the
    14. Purple On blues Blues
    16. Purple On blues Blues teamed with a light sheer lilac scarf
    27. I note her emerald pendant, but the emerald needs to be bigger, hey Zambia is teeming with the stuff! Let’s show it off! To thank her for her efforts.
    29. Yellows, maroon, blues – complex combo and pattern!
    30. This outfit has Complex patterns and good colour combination

    Wonderful,…

    • I was to add it would be interesting to know if these are Zambian textiles. As an artist, (!), I am most impressed with the sensitivity and appropriate localisation, in the designers concept.

Look how her skin is made so radiant by the colours, which warn here complexion. Very little makeup well done. Nothing overshadows her personality.

Autocorrect has me down as patroon abroad for a change!
