The Zambia Police say investigations into the leaked letter Finance Minister Alexander Chikwanda wrote to President Michael Sata seeking approval to amend VAT Rule 18 are still ongoing.

The contents of a confidential letter written to President Sata in August this year were published in the Post Newspaper forcing government to declassify it.

Zambia Police Spokesperson Charity Munganga Chanda told QFM News that investigations are ongoing but could not disclose who is being investigated or what has been established so far.

Ms. Chanda told Qfm News that once investigations are concluded, Police will make public a full report on the investigations.

The Police Spokesperson has however declined to give further details on how long the investigation will take.

    • Corruption as a cultural norm and value in PF. Insubordinations reigns supreme in PF and nothing is surprising by the taste of their own “Donchi Kubeba” style of yapping.
Patiently waiting for PF to disappear, 20 months left or even less.
      Enjoying the drama in PF.
Do not therefore, underestimate the illiterates majority electing a minority groups to rule in the name of “democracy”. 2011 is a great riddance to the echelons of PF cadrerism as a party of endless inconsistencies.

  1. this bitch is always just ranting, always horny,i wonder whats of this ***** called mushota.always off the reality of life.i believe sucking orange dks has confused her too much

  2. Is ZP serious? Do they need to look any further than George Chella? George works for Sata and Mmembe. Mmembe wants to bring ABC down because apparently ABC has stronger ties with the once venomous one than his mate WK. Go figure. These people are *****s!

  3. This just shows how useless and toothless the Zambia Police Service is. The leaked information is being published in the Post newspaper on a daily basis and with impunity. Is it so difficult to summon the Post editorial staff and management and grill them on their sources of information?

    • It is un ethical to disclose the source of the information by Journalist. It is like telling a doctor not to treat a thief ,murderer etc. What must be done by ZP is a straight forward matter. From the author of the letter to the recepient who touched it.At what point was the letter leaked.

  4. These people (ZP) are handicapped and and are useless, as they are waiting for orders to proceed with whom to go and interview or investigate. By now they should have made some arrests. Heads should have rolled. This is what happens when politics are infused in professional work, they (ZP) are now hapless. What a shame? Whom do you blame for all this? Michael Sata because he is the head of state. Where is he? What is doing about this? Next Zambian President needs to be younger, vibrant, who’s mentally and physically fit for God’s sake. we are tired of septuagenarians or octogenarians leading us. People already showing signs of dementia. Why should we have a president who’s older than all the civil servants? Zambia wake up……..you are still asleep.

  5. dont ever mind mushota like we have done, but police spokesperson ifiko nokubwatabwata nangu ni uniform that is ugly,pa zambia nyamulenge government.
