We review how the Chipolopolo stars not picked for 2015 Africa Cup Group F qualifying duty in October and faired at their respective foreign clubs over the weekend.

ARMENIA
Midfielder Lubambo Musonda played the opening 67 minutes for runaway Armenian league leaders Ulisses in their 7-1 home win over third placed Gandzasar.

This was Lubambo’s ninth successive start for Ulisses since joining them from Power Dynamos in August.

ISRAEL
-Hapoel Ra’anana:

Despite all the hype, striker Evans Kangwa has yet to make any impact in three of out the four league games he has played for Ra’anana since joining them on a season-long loan from Nkana .
Kangwa was on the bench for the 8th paced side in Saturday’s 1-1 home draw with 2nd positioned Hapoel Be’er Sheva.

Emmanuel Mbola, who had just returned from Zambia duty, played the full 90 minutes.

-Ironi Kiryat Shmona:

Striker Rodgers Kola scored his second goal of the season for leaders Shmona who beat second from bottom Maccabi Petah Tikva on Saturday.

Kola started the match before he was substituted in the 69th minute.

SOUTH AFRICA

-Bloemfontein Celtic:
Midfielder Mukuka Mulenga started in Celtic’s 5-1 home win over Polokwane City on Saturday.

Polokwane had Joseph Musonda in their lineup and played the full 90 minutes for the visitors.

Mukuka was substituted in the 59th minute while his clubmate and fit-again defender Davies Nkausu played the full 90 minutes.

This was Mukuka’s second game for Celtic since joining them on loan from Mamelodi Sundowns and Nkausu’s first PSL game this season.

-Amazulu:
Striker Bornwell Mwape played the full 90 minutes for bottom placed Amazulu in their 1-0 home loss to Chippa United on Saturday.

  3. Am a bit shocked that Evans has not made much of an impact since joining. Maybe it’s just game time that he needs before settling in well.

  4. Over look Lubambo Musonda at your own peril. Evans Kangwa was better off at Nkana were he was playing regularly including CAF champions League. For now he is finished.
