MINISTER of Youth and Sport Chishimba Kambwili has advised those with presidential ambitions in PF to note that presidents are born and not made.
Mr Kambwili said presidential aspirants will end up with the shock of their lives if they do not succeed.
He said during Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation (ZNBC)’s Sunday Interview programme that if a person was born to be president, they will become one no matter the circumstances.
“Just look at Mwanawasa, he had retired from politics and was doing his own business but because he was born president, he became one. The same applies to the former president,” Mr Kambwili said.
The minister said he will not waste time having presidential ambitions because if he was born president, he will become one and that he is currently concentrating on his ministerial job.
“When people understand this, they will never preoccupy themselves with presidential ambitions,” Mr Kambwili said.
He speaks very well. I like him.
People bilittle him because he is Bemba. This man is an asset for any party and would be make a noble president anytime for me.

Which ministerial job are you concentrating on? When you have failed to address the issue of FAZ paying K100 each to our young women representing us in Namibia (Africa Cup of Nations). Kambwili, even when leaders are born they should be capable of leading and you are not capable. Go to you office and address with issue with FAZ officials to get this issue of allowance for the girls right.

Not necessary to go to university for real life education. Some people only hold paper documents but are not able to live life right even with all privileges. Purpose of education is to build a well rounded individual.

Who is not born? Tell me a president who did not campaign nor want to be one but ended up being. If RB was born was it only for 3 yrs? If Levy was born was it to die as one as well? One can be a president but not be a leader! You disagree with me? By virtue of being a minister or a president does not qualify oneself to be a leader. Leadership is a rare quality in certain individuals which can be honed by taking leadership studies. Sata is a president but might not be a leader. Some traditional chiefs are great leader, they might not have received any formal Western education but they are insightful. Kambwili, please don’t comfort yourself; you have no single trait of leadership in you.
