Matero Member of Parliament Miles Sampa has called on politicians to step up their works by implementing on their campaign promises ahead of the jubilee celebrations.

Mr. Sampa says as Zambia celebrates her 50 years of independence it is important for the political leaders to reflect on what they have done for the benefit of the Zambian people.

ZANIS reports that the parliamentarian said this during the Matero Zambia golden jubilee celebrations held at Matero stadium in Lusaka today.

Mr. Sampa said this year’s independence celebration is special in that the golden jubilee celebrations have taken place at a time when the Patriotic Front (PF) is ruling.

Meanwhile, Mr. Sampa disclosed plans of constructing a museum in Matero as the area has a number of tourism attraction sites.

He noted for example that Matero has a home of the first republican president Kenneth Kaunda once lived in.

Mr. Sampa also said Matero forms part of the PF history considering the various campaign activities that were conducted in the area before it won the presidential elections.

  1. It is funny how even the supposedly educated PF ministers can be so shallow. Listen to Miles, no depth. Just deceit, callousness and rhetoric. You have been in power for 3 years and none of your campaign promises have been implemented. How will you do in in the remaining 2 years and why should we believe you? I am convinced is a one tern failed project

    • Miles Sampa seems to be living in coco land, a f00l’s paradise. How on earth can he expect his fellow PF chimbwis to deliver on the electoral promises, in just 3 days when they have failed to honour the simplest pledge to deliver the constitution for which huge amounts of money has already been spent in 3 years and still counting.

PF has failed to honour any of their pledges since it got into power. Farmers, soldiers, students, nurses, and all civil servants are disappointed at the way PF lies without shame.

People are angry with PF and thats why Sata will die soon.

Miles is just a populist naive politician pundering to his PF stooges and PF f00ls.

    • I really don’t understand where and why Sampa enjoys media attention as if they squeeze his balls.
Even time he shows up is only display “ukutumpa”, when is that FAZ committee member gonna grow-up kanshi?

    • I am failing to reconcile Miles’ statement. Is Miles not a politician under PF who have made so many yet to be fulfilled promises; or is he the supervisor of other politicians in PF or has he joined the opposition?

  2. Miles sounds like you are talking about a PF museum not Zambian museum. You have no convincing reason to have one in Matero. My suggestion is that the people of matero can start up their community museum to showcase their history/culture/aspirations/etc the way we have done it here at Choma Museum.

  3. @Saulosi
Really???? He is just a show off. He works more with his mouth. This guy was my former boss at FBZ I know him way too well.

  4. Hon. M Sampa you are doing very well in your constituency. Sir why cant others do the same? May the Lord richly bless you for being so generous. We are praying for you.

  5. What nonsense is kaMiles saying? How can PF fulfil their campaign promises in the remaining two days before Jubilee Day when they failed to do anything in three years?!

  6. Honestly Sampa thinks all Zambians have no memory. It is hardly a year when in Eastern Province he said these campaign messages were used just to win the elections. What has changed Bo Sampa? Please stop insulting us, and just continue celebrating since you are the one with a fat pocket or bank account/s.
