Share

Peter Makembo has paid tribute to President Michael Sata who died on Tuesday in London after an illness.

Makembo described President Sata as a candid man.

“I received his death with shock, you know we didn’t expect that news,” he said.

“He was one person who would tell you if you are wrong and praise you if you are right,” Makembo said.

President Sata was the patron of FAZ.

“The President supported football and remember in 2012 he sent Dr. Kenneth Kaunda and Rupiah Banda to Gabon when we won the Africa Cup,” he said.

The late head of state will be put to rest on November 11 in Lusaka.

Is LT selling space for tributes? If it for sell then yes you can publish anything, because it is paid for.
But please lets have some decency in this funerals.

    • Bee, thank you! I was going to ask that same question but was afraid I might be singled out as that guy who doesn’t know who Peter Makembo is 🙂
