    • This arrogance is why he will the Presidential election.

A drunkard often doesn’t know what is doing.

Here is a man who confessed to having a few drink EVERYDAY

Thart ladies and Gentlemen is a deffinition of a drunkard. It completely falls short of someone in control of what he is talking about.

      Thanks

    • Look at the calibre of PF presidential aspirants. We have drunkards, womanizers, wife batterers, bullies etc. Very few sane candidates.

Team Kaseba we are with you all the way.

    • He just wants to bring confusion. Power hungry Lungu still lingering in the dwellings of denial about being the SG.
It doesn’t matter if Bridget Attanga is now the PF’s SG. How hungry for power is Lungu? He’s the both defense and justice minister, disciplinary committee chairman and he’s also yenning for presidency PF’s drunken master. Surely Lungu tops the country as the most drunkard of all time and can’t be a president.
He should try to be president of drunkenness.
The end is here PF. 64 days left and counting!

    • Its because Dr Scott has stepped up his leadership and wants to bring sanity in PF. But its too late for now, PF has 64 days left and I will be very, indeed very happy if they are democratically elected out of power. Tired of PF lies, corruption, tribalism, violence, confusion, hypocrisy, human rights abusers and many more ills of humanity.
Other countries are developing greatly, whilst Zambia is in reverse order and PF has made the country worse if not pathetic failures.
Praise Scott for the democracy you have glimpsed in PF because the chief cobra is no more.

    • @ Skeleton, well said!

      @ Mei Matungu:

Really? The SG of this “democratic” party you boast about tried to fast track himself only a few days ago without any democratic consultation at all. Remember?

……and for good measure rounded up some cadres to enforce his will.

……plus some dull (PF!) MPs who threatened to hold the country to ransom by not passing the national budget if they didn’t get their way.

      Democratic, indeed?

I suppose next you’ll tell us that PF is a “listening party”!

    • @ Spuds

It cannot be claimed that PF are where they are today out of their own volition. Left alone, they would have chewed each other alive. The presence of Dr. Guy Scott among them, is what has made the difference.

    • @ Spuds

I would like to believe that those of us in UPND and MMD now feel challenged and would like to emulate the better example. It only takes one person to make the difference. Dr. Scott has shown us the way to do it.

    • @ Mei Matungu,

Nicely answered. I agree, except that Zambian politics is deeply rooted in “big man” culture and takes more than one person to change that.

If Scott actually does earn a “legacy” in just 90-day (…ironically, much faster than PF has done anything else!), maybe it WILL be that his and other parties need to follow their own rules (gee, who would’a thunk?).

In reality, however, my guess is that it will be back to business as usual on Jan 21 with more rule bending, only applying rules to your enemies, etc. etc. Most of these people (perhaps even Scott judged by what he’s said and done as VP?) wouldn’t know what real democracy is even if bit them on the back.

  1. ALL RELATIVES IN PRESIDENTIAL RACE…OOH! NO THEY ARE TRYING TO BEAT LUNGU.IT’S A CARTEL ORGANISED BY SCOTT,MEMBE,AND CO.PLC..JUST THINK OF WILBUR SIMUUSA ,BASHI NONO MORMON SICHINGA CONTESTING THE PRESIDENCY,THESE CAN’T EVEN WIN IN THEIR CONSTITUENCIES. THERE IS A GAME PLAN HERE BWANAS

    • @ susanoo,

Its people like you we need, surely the rule of law must be respected at all costs.
Keep it up dear, I love such acceptance for order.
      Bravo to you!

  2. We see unfolding, a new chapter in the history of democracy in Zambian politics. In its own unique way, PF is making its own contribution to democracy in Zambian politics. Even the so called “family members” have not been hand-picked. They are, instead, running against each other and against every other aspirant in a remarkably democratic fashion.

  3. The cartel plan Will not work .as for kaseba You stupid woman.you think state house has become now for the satas family? Vert foolish family

  4. Flight HH2015 !!!

Flight to Posterity! Integrity! n Prosperity! for Mother Zambia!

Sponsored by Mwana Wa Chi Ngoni! Tribe Counts NOT for a Civilized Generation of Ours!

Viva HH! Viva Young One! Viva the Successful Ones!!!

    • Her Doctor of Medicine contest, first had to win the grade 7 contest. Then won the Form 3 contest, moved on to win the Form 5 contest with distinctions which landed her at UNZA.

The School of Natural Sciences was the toughest contest because to clear just the first year one had to campaign non-stop. She won that contest hands down. The she had the Ridgeway Campus contest to focus on thereafter and even there she excelled with class and aptitude.

On the international stage, she has won several peer review and professional contests since. She didn’t win any of those contests by chance, she won all of them with brains and grace.

I don’t know if she will win the PF Presidential Contest, but given her history of winning I can almost bet my life on it, she’s a winner! How about you?

  5. Democracy being tested indeed…..in MMD such was never allowed, UNDP its a taboo….go PF go PF at least we are not being imposed who should take over rather we have all the power to choose and not complain…Viva PF

  6. Much unlike the bull fights we witnessed in UPND years ago and the chicken fights we are witnessing in MMD right now, PF seems to be taking a distinctly different path toward true democracy at the party level. What a legacy they are putting in place! Congratulations PF. Yes, you can do it.

    • @Mei Matungu…..hahaha.

Mai Guy Scott is a VERY GOOD REFEREE too.
      Let the Bulls fight.
In fact Simuusa,Kaseba and Miles r becoming my favourites. The rest can go to hell !!
pye pye pye tiyenaye baba….!! I was BITTER now its becoming sweeter for Zambia !!!

    • @ Anderson Chisala

You’ve made my day. Thanks for the humor and the glitter. I agree. To his credit, Guy Scott has proved to be a bona fide ref. He deserves a pat on his back. I can see that even Edgar Lungu, of all people, is no longer jittery about going to the Party Convention.

True, genuine democracy at the party level has been the missing ingredient in Zambia’s multi-party political system. With free democracy at the party level, we should soon start seeing true, credible candidates running for the office of the president. So far, it has been whatever was being imposed upon us by the status quo within a particular political party, which effectively was not democratic at all, is what we had to deal with. PF are now leading the way toward true democracy in Zambia.

    • @ Mei Matungu,

I totally agree with you that Dr Scott has brought sanity in PF. Its also true that he is democratically sound but was unable to provide guidance as the Cobra protected his so called “useless ministers” remember?
Well indeed Scott needs alot of pats on his back and the true democratic hands should Clapp for him.
Good riddance to the PF cadres even though we don’t want them anymore.
      Good day mate.

  7. It had to take Guy Scott to establish some sanity in the PF democratic process and allow candidates to come forward instead of hand picking. That is true leadership indeed.

I wonder what would have happened if Edgar Kaminamisa Lungu was at the helm?

    • Yes, it had to take the fatherly and leadership acumen of Dr. Guy Scott to bring sanity to PF. Gratifyingly, even Edgar Lungu, who, only a few days ago, was still behaving like a spoiled child – demanding whatever he believed was rightfully his right there and then and at any and all costs, has since become sober. He has, in fact, started behaving like a grown-up who has some grain of maturity in him. That is what true leadership does.

  8. That’s right Edgar. I am not PF but I agree with you and I am sure even the LAZ would interpret the PF constitution the same way if they were constrained by their statutes…….

  9. Meant to say, the LAZ were NOT constrained by their statutes…….
Talking about statutes, didn’t Guy Scott know that LAZ cannot interpret the constitution of a private body? Didn’t he consult Mwenye (privately)? Makes me worried if an acting president does not know these basic rules ka.

    • The guy (Lungu) you call a drunk actually gave him correct advice on everything so far, but he thought otherwise. Here is a summary of some of Lungu’s advice to Scott so far, find any which is wrong, illegal, or un-constitutional:
      1. Central Committee must meet and determine way forward, I.e. Whether to call for a convention or pick a candidate
      2. Only Central Committee has powers to call for a convention and to set the rules for delegates
3.Central Committee can decide to change the rules according to PF constitution and pick a candidate amount aspiring candidates
      4. LAZ cannot give an opinion on interpretation of the PF constitution with respect to the above clause, we need to consult (named law firm)

  10. The gloomy reality though is that, it is at this juncture that PF is supposed to redefine, rebrand and reinvent itself that it is, in fact, not a “Sata party.” Such transcendence from being a “Sata Party” to being an ideal PF party, will be tricky to achieve. For instance, any appointment of a visibly Sata family member, will automatically compromise and entrench PF as being a Sata Party. This will be so, even if that may not be the indented objective. Perception is all that matters.

  11. Edgar Lungu. Call him what you may, but this lawyer still has the brandishing calm and the power of the people behind him. Also the majority of PF MPs. PF will be stupid to go against a leader that controls a majority of their constituencies.

  12. This Lungu guy is a disgrace of a lawyer. Does he not comprehend the articles in the PF constitution? Why continue to antagonise and create disharmony when the constitution requires you to resign if you choose to contest. Why stand if you feel so insecure and unsure about your chances of winning? He will end up badly. I can see why Mwanawasa and RB opted to expel such characters, rather than indulge in street fights with them. He is acting like a thug with no limits.
