Zambia face the prospect of facing Herve Renard’s Cote d’Ivoire or Cape Verde again when the 2015 Africa Cup draws are made on December 3 in Malabo.
Zambia has been placed in Pot 1 for the draws to be held in the 2015 Africa Cup hosts Equatorial Guinea capital in a fortnights time.
This means Zambia will avoid Ghana, hosts Equatorial Guinea and 2013 runners-up Burkina Faso who are also in Pot 1.
However they could be drawn against Cote d’Ivoire, Tunisia, Mali or Algeria who are in Pot 2.
Pot 3 contains South Africa, Gabon, DR Congo and Zambia’s former Group F opponents Cape Verde.
Pot 4 comprises of Senegal, Guinea, Congo Brazzaville and Cameroon.
The seedings means their lies the potential of three groups of death at next years tournament to be held from January 17 to February 8.
Pot 1 : Equatorial Guinea, Ghana, Zambia, Burkina Faso
Pot 2 : Cote d’Ivoire, Tunisia, Mali, Algeria
Pot 3 : Cape Verde, South Africa, Gabon, DR Congo
Pot 4 : Senegal, Guinea, Congo, Cameroon
