Mulenga Sata during an inspection of Lusaka Town centre market
Local government Minister Emmanuel Chenda was this morning whisked away by police at the at Mulunguish conference centre where he had gone to accredit.
Mr. Chenda was harassed and booed by some party official at the accreditation centre prompting police to whisky him away
Police are deployed at Mulungushi International Conference Centre to maintain law and order as PF delegates accredit to attended the Party convention tomorrow.
Several Cabinet and Deputy Ministers, and senior PF party official have been accredited to attend the convention.
And speaking in an interview Lusaka Mayor Mulenga Sata said the people will choose a leader of their choice at the convention.
Mr. Sata says he has NOT endorsed any presidential aspirant vying to take over as PF party presidency.
Justice Minister Edgar Lungu and Acting President Guy Scott is also scheduled to accredit for the convention slated for Kabwe tomorrow.

Does Mulenga Sata’s endorsement count for anything at all? Are Zambians to be honest bothered who he endorses. Going by the greedy, deceit and treachery that culminated the ailing and eventual demise of SATA, people are sick of it. I think Zambian are more intelligent than that and will only wait to do a DONCHI KUBEBA (test of their own medicine) to the greedy PF guys. One hopes that during this transition the country resources of the are not being squandered because after the elections people will be held accountable. We need a firm leader, come Jan 2015, to deal with the problems that have polarised the country from the time SATA was ailing.
