Patriotic Front (PF) Kimasala ward youth chairperson in Solwezi district, Felix Kalupentala, has resigned from the party.
In press statement made available to Zambia News and Information Services (ZANIS) in Solwezi today, Mr Kalupentala said he has decided to leave the ruling party because he has seen that the party is going nowhere without late President, Michael Sata.
He, however, could not indicate his next move after leaving the PF party.
“Without the late President, Michael Chilufya Sata, the PF party is not going anywhere.
I have decided to follow the highly appreciated decision by the former secretary general, Winter Kabimba’s steps to step down”, Mr Kalupentala said.
However, PF North-western Vice Provincial Chairperson, Toby Kandulu, said the party in the province still remains intact and Mr Kalupentala is free to exercise his democratic rights.
Mr Kandulu appealed to other party members to remain patient and see how the party would be in future because there is no party that has never had shake-ups among its members.
He said it is true that late President Sata was a good beginner of the party but God knows who is to follow his legacy as leader of the party.

Politics Of Poverty at it again.
He has felt the wind of change. Time for the country to be ruled by another political party has come. As many people have pointed out this election is for HH to bag. One only hopes that HH has learned a lot from the arrogance and mistakes of all our previous presidents. Should he be the president of Zambia after 20th January 2015 he should avoid tribalism(which Tongas are perceived to be good at), nepotism, regionalism, family tree and corruption.
HH is not a tribalist but it was the the mmd, the post and sata who tagged him in order to block him politically. Can you or another person tell us what tribalism he showed as an example. is it not Sata who put all his learned family members in great positions and what remained he bembalized it?
1.If Tongas were good at tribalism as you put it then bemba or nyanja was not going to be spoken in Choma my friend.
2.If Tongas were good at tribalism as you put it,then Chiluba would have not got 98% of the votes in the 1996 elections
But I will ask you to name the tribe that is dominating the cabinet and foreign missions.
The only thing you are afraid of a Tonga taking over is that they are hard workers and don’t tolerate any stealing.So own,Zambia will have the most balanced cabinet for 50 years
