Matero Member of Parliament Miles Sampa has revealed that he will form his own political party or endorse the available political parties with the UPND as his number choice if he loses his appeal case in the Supreme Court over the PF presidency.
Speaking on a special Let the People Talk programme on Radio Phoenix, Mr Sampa said he has held talk with other political parties including the UPND who have invited him to come and work with them.
“I have some options if I lose the Supreme Court case, I will form my own political party or endorse another candidate and UPND’s Hakainde Hichilema is the first option,” he said.
Mr Sampa said that he would rather lose his job than endorse illegalities that abrogate the party constitution.
“I am student of the Michael Sata Institute of Politics and I have learnt to persevere. We will form our political party and form government, remember there is 2016 and 2021, we can still compete. My phone is very busy, my supporters are calling me all the time that they are upset that their choice is not being respected and they are telling me to form a new political party, all these are options on the table.”
He said he is confident that the Supreme Court will rule in his favour adding that he has a lot of supporters who will come out once he wins the PF presidency through a court action.
And Mr Sampa has claimed that some unknown people are plotting to assassinate him because of his presidential ambitions.
Mr Sampa said he has information that some people are working to assassinate him for refusing to bow down to pressure and work with Edgar Lungu.
He said he has reported the assassinate plans to the Zambia Police but vowed that he is not scared.
“For me, it is no retreat no surrender, I will not be deterred, I will soldier on until I bring about youthful leadership. I do know that if am taken, there will be another youth you will rise and lead this nation,” Mr Sampa said.

Miles Sampa is seeking notoriety not justice.
His Honour Judge Chali was correct. He is Abusing Court Processes for his purposes. He will not win the Supreme Court ruling. His Honour Judge Chali acted correctly in upholding Honourable Judge Mulenga’s ruling. The Supreme Court will also have to throw his case and uphold both Judges ruling:
1. Contempt of court, from onset to now. Ask why other PF contenders have not taken this matter to court, Kambwili and Lubinda? They claimed the convention that selected Sampa for Leadership was flawed and illegal. The Lawyer overseeing the proceedings had receipt of the court injunction that stated clearly those elections were unlawful and were to stop.
2. It is clear that Sampa is a wrecking ball. This press release before the Supreme Court hearing is against all rules. How does one go to press to discuss the outcome he wants before the Judge has made a ruling? He has used the press to garner support from the general public before the Judge has even decided his case, creating Bias in how the public perceive the ongoing case.
3. It is clear to see he is a Vexatious Litigant. He clearly harbours ill thoughts to his party, over which he seeks to rule as PF President. He also shows a confused mind. He is clearly disgruntled, and is attempting to harm the chances of the party he wants to rule. Why would a Right Thinking person think Sampa Reasonable Person of Sound Mind?
You imply an impeccable judiciary system. The one I know is corrupt and rotten to the core. The injunction was itself issued in bad faith. It was self-serving. There must be a way to correct such kind of injustice.
3. Sampa shows a very low intellect. He just cannot grasp that he is fighting a zero case. His lawyers want to manipulate court processes to make something Wrong, Right. It will not happen, because his selection process was under an injunction. The court had said STOP, don’t select another leader. What Scott should have done, is adjourned that parallel Convention, gone to court to appeal the original injunction giving adequate reasons. If the court accepted their reasoning, and they had won that appeal; THEN go back and hold a WHOLE NEW CONVENTION, with everyone.
4. What Sampa is doing is insane. He is asking the court to accept his contempt of the initial court Injunction! It is highly unprincipled. This is a man SO FLAWED.

There is no evidence that the Injuction was issued in bad faith! AND in any case if it was issued in bad faith, then the correct thing to have done is to APPEAL IT, before proceeding. In this case it cannot be undone. No successful reasons have been given as to why Scott did not appeal the injunction. They tried to lie that they had not received the injunction, but unfortunately their Lawyer in attendance AND the Press have acknowledged the injunctions were in play at the time the parallel convention took place.

All of you poor Edgar Lungu worshippers, your standards are too low for Miles Sampa. No wonder he wants to leave PF. What is your problem? Do you pay Miles Sampa’s salary m******! Who told you that only what you think is right you empty tins. That is why most of you are failures! The problem here is that almost everybody supporting Edgar Lungu is supporting him on the basis of tribe, because so far even after 2 rallies EL has failed to articulate his vision – he keeps talking about Sata’s vision. Does EL know what Sata’s vision was? How dull are you Zambians that you can vote for somebody who tells you he has no plan, he will implement someone else’s vision! You make me sick to be honest. Okay if he will implement Sata’s vision, what is that vision? The truth is he doesn’t know it!
My young brother Sampa, what impression are trying to portray out of the statements that you have fed the nation in the past few days? Remember every thing has time. Never be pushed by individuals whose motive is not to your interest. Learn to accept change and also learn to forgive and forget. That is what I know about politics, but if you try to push your agenda where people are saying NO, then I don’t know what you are up to! My advise is that get back to PF and join your friends in the PF campaign team if really you are a patriotic PF member! It is not always that things should work to your plan!
