FORMER Eastern Province Patriotic Front(PF) Chairperson Lameck Mangani has endorsed the candidature of United Party for National Development(UPND) leader Hakainde Hichilema.
Mr Mangani who is former Chipata Central Member of Parliament said Mr Hichilema was so far the best presidential candidate in the run up to the January 20th 2015 presidential by-election.
He said he had decided to endorse Mr Hichilema following confusion that had erupted the ruling PF.
Mr Mangani said Mr Hichilema once voted into office he would make the better republican president and take the country to the greater height.
“I am endorsing the candidature of Mr Hichilema out of my democratic right.So far he is the best candidate for January 20th,2014,”he said.
He said UPND was a peaceful political party saying he would concentrate campaigning for UPND leader before officially announcing his defection to UPND.
Recently,former Mkaika MP David Phiri,former Lusaka Deputy Permanent Secretary Chinjili Zulu joined the UPND from PF.

GBM , Miles Sampa, even Lungu are on record saying UPND is well organised under HH and they are against each other being republican president but would not mind letting HH form a government because he is by far the best candidate.
Its just that, its not a general election, PF and MMD would have seen unprecedented defections to UPND. Even as I speak, more DCs and top PF officials will start campaigning for HH openly.

Some people here on the copperbelt are wondering the why the UPND campains look more organized than pf, is it the same in Lusaka ? coming to Mangani, I think he tried his best to help the PF, but they ddn’t give him attention. they forgot this man relinquished his ministerial position to support them, in other words PF doesn’t appriciate, so do think he could continue forcing himself on people who doesn’t care about his tears and doesn’t value his efforts? Mangani has the capacity to influence over 2000 voters to vote for HH and that’s what matters the most.

Yet this is the political character who is telling us when gets into power he would want to add value to Zambia’s raw materials when he has failed to do so to his own cattle he slaughters and lets Zambeef add value to his own beef! How successful is HH even when the house he lives in Kabulonga was acquired through the disposal of parastatal assets? Why does he not live in a house he built for himself if he is so rich and successful? Zambians should not be so gullible!

Try to always put the most attended rallies in pictures in the 10 provinces with people speaking in HH’s favor i.e. Kasama in Northen Province , Chipata in Eastern Province , Chinsali Muchinga etc.

To be very honest i voted for PF in 2006,2008 and 2011 but what im seeing now after the demise of my Hero Sata i can’t vote for them now. No one is explaining the policy to the people . PF has done a lot in three year but so far they are not explaining to the people even things like the benefits of Link zambia 8000.
