Thousands of supporters turned up at the Supreme Court grounds to witness the Patriotic Front (PF) president, Edgar Lungu, file in his nomination papers for the Presidential election slated for January 20, 2015.

Mr Lungu arrived at Supreme Court grounds in the company of his wife, Esther, Acting Republican President, Guy Scott and wife, Charlotte Scott, PF National Chairperson Inonge Wina, some Members of Parliament and senior party officials.

The PF leader successfully filed in his nomination papers before Acting Chief Justice Lombe Chibesakunda at the Supreme Court this afternoon.

And Mr Lungu told journalists after filing in his nomination papers that the party has reconciled and the members were going in full force in their campaigns as one united political party in readiness for the Presidential elections next year.

Mr Lungu said he will bring everyone on board in their campaigns and that the party will continue from where the late President, Michael Sata, left from.

He has assured the nation that there will be free and fair elections, adding that his party will comply with the Electoral Code of Code.

And Dr Scott said he was geared to join the campaign trail to support Mr Lungu in the January Presidential elections.

Dr Scott expressed confidence that the PF will scoop the January 20, 2015 Presidential By-elections.

And the ruling party in the North Western Province has thanked Acting President, Guy Scott, and PF president, candidate Edgar Lungu, for reconciling.

PF North Western Province Deputy Campaign Manager, Richard Taima, says the reconciliation by the Head of State and the Defence and Justice Minister will give more encouragement for the people to vote for Mr Lungu at the forth coming presidential election.

Mr Taima, a former Cabinet Minister in the Rupiah Banda administration, said the entire North-Western province has endorsed and is behind the candidature of Mr Lungu.

Mr Taima was speaking in an interview with ZANIS in Lusaka today.

“I thank the Acting President Dr Scott and Mr Lungu for reconciling. We in North Western province have endorsed the candidature of Mr Lungu,” Mr Taima said.

He said the province is now capable of producing a third or more members of parliament from the current two MPs.

The region current has got two legislators, namely convicted Mufumbwe MP, Stephen Masumba and his Zambezi West counterpart, Christabel Ngimbu, while others are opposition UPND and MMD law makers.

The Deputy Campaign Manager assured that the PF presidential candidate would amass more votes and emerge victorious on January 20, 2015.

Mr Taima said the opposition presidential candidates were just wasting their time and resources in this presidential campaign because the ground is ripe for Mr Lungu.

    • HH vs Edgar. Right now it is 50-50 , let the games begin! To us what matters is peace and stability. Go Zambia go!

    • Buses yesterday were coming from southern province

UPND imported the people from southern zambia

Bantustan- UPND party is heading nowhere

EL will have votes from and across Zambia

      VIVA FLIGHT# EDGAR CHAGWA LUNGU!!!!!!

    • Democracy Is A Messy Enterprise But It Is The Closest Thing We have To Self-rule ~ B R Mumba, Sr.

Now that we have all major players filled, may the best team win. The smart people of the Zambian Enterprise always get what they “want”.

I hope we get what/who we “need” this time around … that’s what smarter people do! We are already smart so let’s get smarter.

      God speed to all candidates!!

    • As said earlier, in any enlightened society this bunch of lairs would not have made it to the High Court and nowhere near the polls come Jan 2015.
But this is Zambia where the majority are dull and extremely gullible. It does not matter that the PF lied everyday for the last 3 years. Scott even went as far as lying to Parliament about Sata’s health and purpose of Sata’s trip to Israel. How does any right minded person bother to turn up for this and nevermind voting for anything called PF?
We really have a long way to go…

    • Is this inauguration ? Bonse aba mulemona bana bakwa lesa.

      Abash freemasonry.

Lusaka came to a stand still i was informed. G o to mwebantu media more pictures.

No more popcorn for upnd bloggers, bola yapwa.

    • True my dear considering that PF is the party in Govt. Nachidiba kuno ku Kitwe. No teens only youths and adults in attemdance. No violence, no harassment of journalists oh it is peaceful here.

    • Did you count the numbers? From the pictures it is obvious that EL had more supporters at High Court Grounds. In any case the combination of EL, GS and RB will kill the tribal party once and for all. No tribal clan to rule Zambia. Zambia is for all and not for those who pushed out Patrick Chisanga, Lubinda and Sichinga out of the party they built. An intruder took over just because he was a tonga. Abash tribalist and his cohorts.

    • My heartfelt disappointment with ZNBC and indeed lusakatimes in the manner they have conducted their reporting towards the run up to 20th January 2015 presidential by elections.Yesterday ZNBC reported that hundreds of people attended HH’s filling in of nominations and decided 2 show a clip which was spacely populated meanwhile other news sites showed a see of people .The same thing is manifesting with L/times when yesterday only a single pic 4 HH was shown filling in of nominations meanwhile so many pics have been uploaded for EL and we will not be surprised to see detailed pictures of EL filling in of nominations. My advice to u guys is that govnts come and go,if UNIP and MMD were kicked out of power while enjoying massive support, who is PF not to be kicked out in a similar way?

    • Pretty

      Save yourself some embarrassment. ..
all your friends have Joined Katondo boys and boostele team

Please come see us tomorrow after after church.

2015 Edgar has just won the elections

      I thank you

    • iwe uzakafa na NO. Why uzivuta? its clear from yesterday and today. for once in your life be honest with yourself even if u can lie to us.

    • Wanzelu, Wantanshi, Jessie wa mu town, Nostradamus, Mei Matungu all have ditched UPND. ….wapya munzi

Edgar Edgar Edgar…please Edgar. ..i beg you ….you throwing in too many knock out punches ….. please spare our brothers. …please Hon Lungu

2015 Edgar has just won the elections

      I thank you

    • So what happens to Sampa? Probably crying in a corner somewhere? Scot only has himself to blame. He thought he was clever now he is acting like a spoiled brat throwing a tantrum while Lungu signs away. I once read somewhere that “keep your words sweet in case you need to swallow them.”

    • @it’s a worry:

I think the only dull and gullible person here is yourself … don’t call the smart people of the Zambian Enterprise that!!! You feel elitist and you look down on others but inside you are poor and wretched.

I learnt long time ago that most people who call others names are actually referring to themselves! So, when we hear you say “dull and gullible” when referring to the smart people of the Zambian Enterprise what some of us hear U saying is that you yourself are are so dull and gullible to see what others truly perceive.

Forget their level of education, wisdom has nothing to do with the volumes we have read! It’s an inbuilt mechanism that makes a poor man wake up with a smile on the face while a rich man all the more wonders.

      You sound defeated already!

    • If you are genuine analyst you should be saying things don’t look good for PF.

Copperbelt is a PF stronghold, but right now, with the crowds that HH id pulling, the guy could end up with 35% – 40% of the votes. Remember he only needs 30% from there.

    • @Katondo Boys

Late Sata wasn’t embarassed everytime he lost elections. Why shud I?

And the battle isn’t yet over “my friend”. Today was just nomination day.

No campaigns for PF just banking on sympathy votes :’-(

    • VIVA H.E EDGAR LUNGU !!

Now go on and take your rightful and destined Presidential Sit !

UPND a ‘kamulia bo’ party your wishful dreams are diminishing !!

ALL THE WAY TO STATE HOUSE EDGAR LUNGU !!

    • Guy Scot has been held to ransom by a Mafia style group. The reality however, remains. PF is a violent party, vision less and disorganized. Any member, minister can say anything anytime on behalf of the party. Any member ,official , cadre can say anything to anybody including the president. There is no proper hierarchy, anyone can fire anyone. Things will get interesting when they discover that they are losing the election. I hope Zambians will vote wisely.

    • Hey, hey hey.

      @Katondo
I’ve asked, and asked nicely. Don’t mention me, unless we are having a direct conversation.

I’m really trying to be civil, but speaking for me is a no-no.

      Stop it.

    • Looks like Chagwa wants to eat the microphone. Who is the gentleman in dark glasses? Is he a special agent? Oh, no! It is Willie Nsanda king of the Jerabos!

    • @B R Mumba
Now why would you call me gullible? Who has told me fabrications that I have taken as gospel truth?
I stand to be vindicated when “the smart people of the Zambian Enterprise” elect Edgar Lungu for the Republican President and I shall tail you until that moment.
If a country can have Sata for a head of State and thereafter have the PF as a strong contender for elections after such a disasterous 3 years, then a critical thinker will have to ask why any reasonable mind would allow such to manifest.
MR Mumba, I would like to hear your considered views as to why “the smart people of the Zambian Enterprise” can allow such to come to life.
I am not a cheap propagandist who wants popular votes on LT but realistic and sharing considered views.

    • This man is a Tifu!
Is it true that his campaign manager abuses his bus drivers by underpaying them at gun point?
EDL is being used in this scheme and since he has no physical and financial muscle of his own, don’t expect him to have an independent mind! He will be told what to do whether good or bad!
I was also wondering what their campaign slogan means. Frankly, it is an empty one.
Are they saying ifinthu fya kwa EDL? I am not Bemba to understand this and don’t expect me to understand without a proper explanation!

    • @it’s a worry:

You missed my point, but just for the sake of it … my Mum and Dad are the same Zambians you are calling “dull and gullible”. I these people, they are smart and I am a product of their smarts.

My nephews and nieces still live in the Zambia, these are the people you are referring to as “dull and gullible”. I know these people and they are not that.

Maybe even your parents are still living in Zambia, I don’t them but they are Zambian and I don’t think they would like you to call them that. Hey Mum and Dad … you two are so dull and gullible.

You own folks are dull and gullible … and by the way, Sata did a heck of a job!!! I was in Zambia this May and I liked what I saw but again, I am just another one of those dull and gullible! So says it’s a worry

    • We have seen these comments before but the final verdict is always the same. People want money and will flock wherever chipwalele but come voting day, it is a secret ballot my friend

    • Yes this is good news indeed reconciliation is always a good thing and this shows the kind heart of Edgar Lungu has in bringing people together, he is a born leader and a uniter unlike the likes of HH that want to divide people…but Scott we can forgive you but will not forget what you did..
otherwise UNITED WE STAND AND DIVIDED WE FALL…

      ****VIVA EDGAR LUNGU 2015****

    • This is something compared to the UPND cloud because buses brought people from Southern Province for HH.

Elections are not won by the clouds you see at rallies because some people go to rallies for curiosity reasons.

    • Agony is when people are shouting aleisa! aleisa! only to see Edgar Lungu emerge as the sixth republican president

Viva mwamukolo ni kwa mungu ki bo edgar fela

Aliyeni aliyeni banana ni ba chembele ki bo edgar.

      Iitumezi( I thank you)

    • How can a former cabinet minister Taima announce that the whole of North Western Province is behind Lungu? Has he been campaigning for him or just trying to please him and get recognition if Lungu gets in? Most former politicians always look for a reward.

    • @ Grand, Exactly.
Unemployment is very high that some people in today’s crowd featured yesterday at least that is what I have read on facebook input on ZWD.

    • Ba Pretty naimwe ubukopo fulu fulu! Imwe everything in ZWD when you can even see that ZWD is campaigning for UPND and they are trying by all means to pull down Edgar. Before you insult me, I am not PF and I am not going to vote even. I am not in the country I am just trying to make you see things straight.

    • RB Disciple. Understand tht you won’t vote. Why should you?

When the Post was campaigning for late Sata did you complain? Because PF have fallen out with the Post than PF is innocent.

So can you answer did EL hold a rally in Lusaka?
According to the ZWD he didn’t.

I balance things so you advice is not welcome.

    • Pretty, I am not voting becauseI am not in the country and even if I was I would not vote UPND or PF. I vote on principle. I would vote for a person that appeals to me. Neither HH nor EL appeal to me. I would vote for Brig. Gen. Miyanda. The most sincere and honest politician to have walked the Zambian soil. I have voted for him before so I have no problem voting for him again. I actually even try to recuit people to vote for him. He has the best development policies I have ever heard a politician proud unlike you leader who just copies for the sake of getting into state house. Your HH changes goal posts anyhow any day. I actually pray that God saves us from having him as president. Too many lies. We don’t want any more lies. We have had enough from PF. We don’t need any more from UPND

    • @ RB disciple or better still Godfrey Miyanda’s disciple. In the hypothetical world G Miyanda shud be the president. But that is hoping for the impossible. So let us who have choices continue our online campaigns.

And by the way I don’t think even HH can beat late Sata with the donchi kubeba style. So I feel like giving him a chance.

      Viva #FlightHH2015 & 2016

  1. @ pretty,
Are you one of those that were celebrating the wrangles in PF ?
Then, you must be very sad, hopefully you will have a good sleep ..

    • @Grand. Celebrating is not the right word to express how I was feeling. But I was disappointed and shocked with the name calling and levels of desperation some people where prepared to reach.

Am happy that HH has conducted peaceful campaigns this time around as opposed to the last times he was harrassed by PF cadres with police watching.

All I can say to PF is KARMA is the greatest equalizer. This time around PF has failed to mobilise itself for campaigns and it hasn’t been because of UPND but intra fightings. I am glad they tasted a pinch of their own medicine.

    • Try for one day to impose Cannisius BANDA as UPND president or Mutale Nalumango , you will see how hell will break loose .

ONLY A TONGA CAN BE UPND PRESIDENT.

  2. Turnout was lower than I expected. What we saw yesterday was a multitude.

The popularity in favour of HH reflects the level of organization.

  3. I think we need to draw a line between Tongas and UPND suporters. There Tongas who suport PF and those who want to join PF. we know Lungu is our next president so whoever suports lungu shud preach love and forgivness.

    • If all those we see following HH are tongas, then they are men. Then I am one of them. You will be sorry come 20th January, 2014

  4. Pretty tell these PF carders right now HH is having big rally in kitwe, while they canceling theirs. HH is busy working while they sleep, clearly EL has run of what to say, how are you going to involve people who you rarely meet.

    • @Big C Exactly he’s run out of words. Have you observed the way EL clasps his hand when giving the speech…on the introductory page?

      According to Revealing Body Language
“Clasping and squeezing hands together is a self-pacifying gesture. A person who does this is uncomfortable, maybe even nervous or fearful. He’s trying to assure himself, “Everything’s going to be alright.” A variation of this is rubbing the wrist.
Clasped hands with interwoven fingers indicate great anxiety and frustration. That person is thinking, “Things are going really bad”. You better prepare yourself when you spot this.”

      Feel sorry for EL.

    • Big C

      HH’s body language

      “Palms up
Open palms usually have a positive effect on people. It’s effective in making amends or closing a sale.

Combined with outstretched arms, it communicates acceptance, openness and trustworthiness.”

Watch his campaign videos. He was even dancing in Kafue :-). This man is laka.

  5. Monde stop racist remarks, abash racism, we are in modern times which takes displeasure in tribalists like you, if you can’t debate with civility then stop

  6. My heartfelt disappointment with ZNBC and indeed lusakatimes in the manner they have conducted their reporting towards the run up to 20th January 2015 presidential by elections.Yesterday ZNBC reported that hundreds of people attended HH’s filling in of nominations and decided 2 show a clip which was spacely populated meanwhile other news sites showed a see of people .The same thing is manifesting with L/times when yesterday only a single pic 4 HH was shown filling in of nominations meanwhile so many pics have been uploaded for EL and we will not be surprised to see detailed pictures of EL filling in of nominations. My advice to u guys is that govnts come and go ,if UNIP and MMD were kicked out of power while enjoying massive support, who is PF not to be kicked out in a similar way?

    • @ Big Giant, don’t worry about CNBC’s negative information tactics if thats what it is. That was just a nomination filing process, the big day is still ahead and no one will change facts.

  7. today they were a lot of people than yesterday depending on the angle of the camera, moreover yesterday a lot of tongas as far as choma, mazabuka, kafue and surrondin lusaka areas were ferried in buses the nomination day was highly advertised on znbc.EL all that multitude of people are from lusaka,no importation of cadres like upnd yesterday….

  8. Well well there you have it folks, using the 2011 register clearly favours Lungu below is the voting scenario.

Out of the 5.1 million registered voters only 2.7 million turned out to vote in the 2011 general elections.

    CBelt 845,569 = 80% went to PF
    Lusaka 772,458 = 80% went to PF
    Eastern 644,725 = 80% went to MMD
    Northern 659,534 = 80% went to PF
    Southern 643,588 = 90% went to UPND
    Laupula 408,937 = 80% went to PF
    Central 482,013 = 60% went to MMD
    Western 394,660 = 60% went to MMD
North Western 315,670 = 55% went to MMD

Now the turn out in 2011 was recorded at 53% while this time around expect the turn out to be 40-45%.

From the above numbers you can see that PF once again stands a bigger chance to win than MMD and UPND.

Lets see what happens on 20 Jan.

    VIVA EL…

    • You are living in the past. Late Sata was the driving force for those votes. Sweet talking and donchi kubeba language. People are alot more wiser – I hope.

    • My dear a human being can change in a moment. Let us wait for 20th. You are going to be disappointed. Lungu has even failed to address a rally which was five km away. Look at the so called reconciliation. Dont youwonder why ZNBC are also failing to show the Kitwe rally and many other rallies for HH and UPND? You are bound for disappoint

  9. It’s next month, ishi it’s not a good feeling to send a youngman like HH into early retirement. Sad as it is, he will lose these elections and eventually retire. UPND has many educated fellows but lack analytical skills. I felt sorry yesterday when I found UPND officials giving out t-shirts in exchange for attendance at the supreme court
in town. Are they sure those will vote for them? No

    • @ Big Giant, don’t worry about CNBC’s negative information tactics if thats what it is. That was just a nomination filing process, the big day is still ahead and no one will change facts.

  10. and this year we are going to vote on tribal lines, the damage has already been done……we will see ba upnd let us wait and see on the 20 jan 2015

  11. Kitwe is on fire here. HH WAPYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA MUNZIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII I didnt know majority of Zambians are frustrated.

  12. @ Pretty,
If you belive what ever you read on ZWD, then I surely know what type of person you are.

    @Big C,
HH may have a big rally in kitwe, EL may not even hold one rally there.
But I can asure you that EL will beat HH in kitwe.

    • @ Grand u can’t know me just by the fact that I read ZWD. What do you know about PF ministers and cadres who read ZWD then ehh? Do you realise that PF ministers are reading the ZWD? Or are you in denial?

What about PF’s donchi kubeba is that better then ZWD? Check the meaning of hyprocrisy.

    • What you don`t realize is that HH does not need 70% of the votes on the copperbelt. The guy who needs that sort of percentage is Lungu.

    • do u know y el may loss.basic good very expensive etc, sugar ,cooking oil compare 2011.sch fees.name other issues.can an ordinary in compound ,village manage.lets wait and c

    • @ Grand, if rallies don’t mean anything to you, are you then confirming the PF’s planned rigging reported by the public media few days ago?

    • @ Grand, if rallies don’t mean anything to you, are you then confirming the PF’s planned rigging reported by the public media few days ago? Otherwise, one would comfortably go by what they see if the adage “seeing is believing” has any meaning.

Most Zambians are suffering because they live below the poverty datum line, hence they are really looking for meaningful change that can take Zambia to prosperity.

It is a pity that most bloggers here who really understand issues will not vote as they are in the diaspora. Their vote can make a huge difference….

  13. HH is in Kitwe holding a rally while others are “resting” – planning on how to rig.

    Reconciliation my foot.

You cadres were disappointed that your EL couldn’t hold a rally. He needs crash classes on the PF manifesto – sorry Late Sata’s manifesto.

    • I have said it before to Mei Matungu and I will say it again to you. Relax. Channel that energy you are using to hate Pf to something sensible and you could make a lot of money. It is not worth it to hate someone who won’t even feel the hatred a single bit. That hatred will just kill you for nothing. HH doen’t even know you. I doubt the ward chairperson of the place you live in knows you. Don’t take things so personal my dear Pretty 😉

    • @ 22.2 RB Disciple

It is not about HH. It is about Zambia. Zambians everywhere deserve a better country. I say this without malice, PF are a disgrace. They have no vision to make Zambia the country we all deserve. The intensity of the internal wrangles within their party is a clear testimony to that effect.

  14. @ HH
One of the reason I have always resisted to join UPND, is that declaration they made !
ONLY A TONGA CAN BE A PRESIDENT OF UPND !!

    • They are really something else huh.? Only Tongas can be leaders of UPND, what does that tell you.? Progressive parties will not come in the open and make such a statement.

UPND supporters can deny all they want but the writing is on the wall.

Then ZWD is also not helping UPND, they should have a different approach if they are to win elections.

      VIVA EL VIVA PF

    • @ 21 GRAND & 21.1 BIG L

That’s an ancient wound whose scar has long disappeared. It is not HH who said it. Think for once if the white American electorate had, out of ire with the imprudent Reverent Jeremiah Wright’s scathing racial remarks, decided not to vote for Barrack Obama! Thankfully, they though otherwise and wisely so. They voted for Barrack en masse.

The white American electorate realized that the un-repentant Reverend Jeremiah Wright was not Barrack Obama and Barrack Obama was not Reverend Jeremiah Wright.

You really don’t have to vote for HH for any reason. That is what democracy means. Your insistence on that ancient remark, however, makes you sound more like racially biased Donald Trump who shamelessly clung on to the Obama’s birth certificate story.

  15. It is a shame how easily people can follow others. Most of the followers don”t know the one they are following but just follow and are even ready to die for him. If you grab two or three in this crowd and ask them where Lungu lives, they have no idea but they are following. incredible the way a human being is made!

    • @Kamwale you made me laugh. It’s politics mune.

But HH’ vision is clear to all his followers and opponents the reason why nurses were reinstated and fuel prices brot down. Now retirement age is the next and mealie meal.

      Viva #FlightHH2015 & 2016.

  16. ZWD does’nt allow anyone with a non-tonga name to comment unless you change ur name to hamududu, hantobolo, hadunka, hanjalika, chimuka, mweemba, bubala, mwanakopa, chembele, mwinga, hikainde, hichilema and so on…………

  17. Some of these are cadres from the Copperbelt. Zambians won’t be fooled this time. They have realised the panga party will not take them anywhere. These are hypocrites. I just feel for the way they have treated Scott. Tribal it’s and racists in modern Zambia. Nebo ndevotela bo HH.

    • @ 25 Tunfweko mayo

PF played their game once and dribbled us all. We now know them better. No more PF lies and no dance to PF music

  18. Crowds dont lie. Live pictures of the Kitwe rally on Zambian Watchdog/Facebook. Surely that crowd couldn’t have been imported from Choma and Mazabuka?. And thsts PF strong hold. When RB joins HH in Chipata on Monday ni kaya kaya. Edgar will have to go back to Kitwe convince those few kaponyas he imported from Lusaka. Chagwa Lungu as your name says it, wagwa zoona

  19. If you are genuine analyst you should be saying things don’t look good for PF.

Copperbelt is a PF stronghold, but right now, with the crowds that HH id pulling, the guy could end up with 35% – 40% of the votes. Remember he only needs 30% from there.

  20. Now that silly Malawi Prophet that prophesied war in Zambia after elections should come forward and apologize to all Zambians and ask for forgiveness from God.

2015 Edgar has just won the elections

    I thank you

  21. @ Pretty,
I can not belive everything I read on ZWD as facts, this media for me is meant only to project HH as the only saviour to zed.

    • I didn’t say that I beleived everything either. But I do check it to get info on what is going on. I even read the Post despite everything.

You and I are part of #ZambiaUnited “my friend”. You think if foreigners were fighting you I wud abandon you? Think again. You will be shocked on how i will whip them.

  22. Wawona mange wa yamba ku luuka, chakolwa!
Wawona mange wa yamba ku lila, wena!
    Wawona mange wawona mange CHAKOLWA!
    PF campaign theme song!

  23. HH can have a thousand rallies in kitwe but on 20/01/2015 a PF candidate will get more votes from there.he can even camp there till January but still lose to PF!that how this PF is loved in his strongholds!its common sense, even Edgar Lungu can camp in Monze but still lose to HH!this voting will be regional as usual!Viva PF viva EL!

  24. we know that its getting hard for pf with there fake tactics nothing is to change the minds of well meaning zambians we need a change for the better this is supported by classes of people we are moving forward as one zambia united no lies no pangas no insults no threats . guy scott was threated with pangas hence his accepting reconcialation without a smile shame on you. mean while chaweketa in kitwe and choma ha ha ha uko people fear they have to go with there eyes open for fear of pangas.. hh go go go go go 2015 is near bye bye paya farmer club

  25. @ Eddy,
What you are saying is very true, thats simple logic,
My analysis EL will get Lsk, CoB, EP, NP, LP, MP.
I am not sure about WeP, NWP, but pf has done very well at recent byelections in these two provices.
    Surely SoP is for HH.

  26. Lets forgive Scott and let him forgive himself that he was misled Abena Luo and others should forgive the Guy and lets move on and ensure victory is delivered for Edgars Lungu

From the turn of events,Edgars has posted the momentum and should be supported by all well meaning Zambians HH cannot run the country with Job seeking MPS we need Zambia to develop with the people in mind not gratuity and prestige

The PF infrastructural formula and economic empowerment policies for the poor should be supported

Guy Scot is a good man very few whitemens can mingle and make noise and cause confusions and be confused by miles He is a Zambian especially that England disowned him He is a Guy

  27. You PF cadres NOW you admit that you were actually worried that the divisions in PF meant a certain loss of election! Piece of advice: the situation has not changed. You MUST remember that people are going for HH not because there are divisions in PF. People are voting for HH because farmers have not been paid, poverty is up, wage freeze, employment freeze: listen to this, HH announced that he was going to make sure farmers are paid on time, PF quickly scrambled a few millions and paid farmers in Kasama – but the rest of the country’s farmers remaim unpaid. HH again said he was going to reinstate the fired nurses, and PF this week said the nurses can now re-apply to be reinstated. I hear the nurses have refused to reapply until after elections. In short, PF is in S.H.I.T! No chance!

    • Judge Masipha

yes we were worried but….but now Victory is all but certain.

By the way what’s the date today….how come I keep thinking it’s January 20 ?????

OK let me just fast forward

2015 Edgar has just won the elections

      I thank you

  28. That’s the spirit leadership is leading even the opposite in humility abena Lungu God Bless you

You will carry the day even if all the Mps resigned Sata left a solid foundation in places but campaign to cement and protect people from Corporate lies and promises in support to win by HH even playing the Lumwana Politics to ensure votes are bought

Lets change the politics from being petty to National Economic Development Forgive also abena antanga and ensure they campaign also that is leadership

Donot be quick to answer back Mr and invite to meet to discuss avoiding hest decisions even when right call to discuss in humility and from researched background

    Maintain…

  29. The problem with voting its very regional in what ever continet you may be. Therefore the candidate favored in more regions has a better chance of wining.

  30. HH can go anywhere he wants to campaign. ..no problem. .he can have a million rallies on the copperbelt or he can even knock at my mother’s house in Kanyama township and campaign. ..he is most welcome…he is our brother and a very respectful person.

But Victory is all but certain for Edgar.

    “POLITICS IS POLITICS”
    Wynter Kabimba

2015 Edgar has just won the elections

    I thank you

  31. I love the Zambian electorate. On one hand we have the progressives, who genuinely analyze issues and want change not just for the sake of it, but for the sake of a progressive and proud Zambia. And then on the other hand we have the ” Ni Lungu Chabe” crowd, who despite wallowing in PF inflicted poverty are so brain dead to see the light. They suffer from what is termed as the Stockholm Syndrome. A situation where the oppressed start to sympathize with oppressor as they believe there is no recourse. In this election cycle the ” Ni Lungu Chabe” crowd has an opportunity for recourse. It’s never too late. They have three weeks to decide what’s best for them or forever wallow in poverty and oppression from the PF thug regime.Three weeks and counting…

  32. Pretty

What you doing tomorrow after church?

If you time please come pass by CBI building in Matero so we can lunch together with the rest of the Katondo boys. Eddy, Monde, Mwanawakwitu, Truth hates, Robin , Big L plus the new recruits Mei Matungu, Jessie wa mu town, Nostradamus, Wantanshi and Wanzelu.
MMD chiefbootlicker also says he is coming

2015 Edgar has just won the elections

    I thank you

    • Let us meet after the results have been announced and you have been humbled and powerless to remember where you hid the panga. I will buy your one way ticket.

Right now I can’t risk being in the company of Panga Fighters.

      Viva #FlightHh2015 & 2016.

    • Katondo Boys,

Man we are coming with Pretty she is or sole he is just pretending. See you my man …. but come 20 January 2015 Lungu is in state house while HH and UPND will be mourning.

Peace and Prosperity to Mother Zambia.

  33. Yes, POLITICS is POLITICS and VOTING is REGIONAL. But the person who will win in this election is the person who will collect from ALL THE PROVINCES. Edgar Lungu will be beaten CLEAN by HH….there are 3 or 4 provinces where Edgar Lungu will collect close to ZERO. HH will collect in EVERY province, whether you like it or not. Come to KITWE right now and see what is happening, the atmosphere is just amazing….and then compare with Edgar Lungu’s sorry rally there 2 weeks ago. My God, you PF guys are in denial. Sorry, HH is the next president. The people want change and they don’t care about your comments on Lusaka Times. Keep self-pleasuring. You want to convince me that PF will win elections when people on the ground are behaving in favour of HH. Carry on with your self-deception.

  34. I like when one Journalist asked Kabimba.

Journal: Mr Kabimba sir, what do you think about Zambian politics?

    Kabimba: Politics is Politics.

2015 Edgar has just won the elections

    I thank you

  35. look at the crowd of HH in Kitwe for toda y’s rally.Be real or continue in your usual denial in your Outgoing Lairs’ Party PF. 28 days remaining for your cheap propaganda to vanish.Zwaaaa PF Zwaaaaaaaa!Mind you Lungu teti ateke chalo pantu aleisundila muma pants- Kambwili can review.

  36. Baa nyamata ba ma dizzy! Basope. Edgar bubaani Lungu. I hear he is planning a trip to Russia on government resources before PF looses in January. Kukonda Ma Vodka. CHAKOLWA!

  37. You people, if what i have just seen on ZNBC main news is what you call reconciliation in PF, I am sorry you have got it wrong. How can people who have reconciled not face up, when the clergy were singing with the rest, they were face down and singing. even their speeches shows that there is no reconciliation. Can this man EL really convince people, even drunkards?

    • Real reconciliation should have involved all the candidates who ran for the post. Where is Kaseba the mother of the party? Where is Sampa the hurt presidential candidate? EL the anointed by the dead, good luck!

  38. ‘Kale twayamba uku Vote’ was a slogan at Lungu filling I’m told.. The tactic for Lungu is simple ‘follow HH campagn trail…because voters have a short memory…they will only remember the last speaker.

  39. PF under Sata has done extremely well such that even Jacob Zuma also appreciates!am glad that even your HH is today praising Sata’s works after travelling in rural zambia and see what he(HH) used to criticise in Lusaka!its those massive works by Sata and masses love for PF which make Edgar Lungu’s victory almost assured!we’ll differ here in opinions till 19/01/2015 but 2011 results and those wins PF recorded (even minus Sata’s efforts in campaigns) in opposition’s strongholds till september 2014 clearly shows that neither HH or Nevers Mumba can win in 2015!i see a walk over victory for Edgar Lungu!

    • Do you not have relatives where ever you are so that they tell you what they are seeing in there places. What was in kitwe today shows that PF is long gone. I voted for Sata and Simuusa in Chingola and I can assure you chingola will not vote PF. HH is in Chingola tommorrow, see what happens there

  40. I see most of PF bloggers have done their Job already and are now just relaxing. …..whilst UPND are still trying hard to find a way to salvage something out of these elections ….too late too little.

My message to all UPND supporters is very simple. ..it’s now christmass time so just shut down your laptops and go spend time your familys…..

Sorry your Man HH didn’t even come close. ….the images you’ve just seen online is nothing as compared to what exactly was happening on the ground in Lusaka. ….Lusaka came to a stand still…..this reminded me the time when Pope John Paul 11 came to Zambia. …i have never seen so many happy faces in one place for a very long long time.

God has finally answered our prayers.

2015 Edgar has just won the elections

    I thank you

    • That is where you are going wrong. The battle is not over. HH is campigning you are busy planning on how to rig. Rigging won’t work.

You are in deep waters my friend. When the Pabwato is tilted by hippos (ballot box) you will become meat for crocodiles. A crocodile will perform “death roll” on you when you fall in the waters & in your dying seconds calling Viva HH won’t help. Too late for you as the date will be 21/01/2015.

I feel sorry for you, you are so much in denial. Wishful thinking even when you danger signs everywhere.

      Viva #FlightHH2015 & 2016.

  41. For the sake of those who don’t read ZWD
    LATEST NEWS

MMD NEC RESOLVE TO SUPPORT HH

The MMD National Executive Committee has resolved to support UPND candidate Hakainde Hichilema in the January 20, 2015 presidential by-election.
MMD national chairman Kabinga Pande disclosed the development at a press briefing Saturday morning. MMD MPs such as Victoria Kalima of Kasenengwa attended the press briefing.
Almost all MMD MPs already resolved on Friday to campaign for Hichilema.
The NEC members further resolved to go flat out to campaign for Hichilema. They will meet again on Monday to work out modalities on how to campaign.
During the NEC meeting, 47 out of 55 NEC members voted in favour of supporting HH.

  42. @Pretty, even when you copy and paste and I hear it was from the place where they watch galu in Zambia, I cannot read it here and I also don’t go there too! So spare us please!

    • @Sikatana you mean “spare me”. AGONY is reading DISTURBING POLITICAL FACTS on ZWD. I get it. Anyway it reads that MMD NEC members will be campaigning for HH and this my friend in Eastern Province.

Can I hear your stomach growling??

      Viva #FlightHH2015 & 2016.

  43. It is done and sealed. PF continues in State House. UPND and other small opposition parties have had their f00ls honeymoon abruptly curtailed. Edgar Lungu only remains to be sworn in as the sixth president of the republic of Zambia on 22 January 2015. The bible in the hand as he takes oath and swears to uphold the constitution and steer the nation to greater heights, ……………….. ‘So help me God’.

    • Done and sealed? By going to grave site ehh? Amambala imwe, time will catch up with you. ‘You can fool some people sometimes, BUT you can’t fool all the people all the time.’ Bob Marley.

  44. We were told UNPD is for Tongas when Mazoka died. That’s how HH grabbed power from this lozi guy ..now you want to fool us?? ,… Nop. we will vote along tribal and regional lines. That is crude fact. I said it.

    • @ 55 PanAfricanist

Sorry, you are going that route alone. Good luck. The rest of Zambia is moving forward and voting as a nation – not along tribal lines. That is rotten thinking that belongs to the past.

  45. Pretty explain to these people, things are changing, people are turning away from tribalism, there is a shift in the way people think, less and less people are becoming less tribalistic especially the younger generations, so old people wallow in your tribalism while progressive individuals move forward. Let me tell you Zambians have become westernized, it’s not about tribe, it’s about what can you do for us, we have realized that it’s insanity to keep hoping for change while voting the same tribes.

    • @China PF cadres know their govt messed up big time. So calling HH /UPND tribalist are the last kicks of a dying horse. They themselves are more tribal than the word itself. The tribal tag won’t work this time around – farmers are pissed off, people are suffering bcos of the high cost of living – high mealie prices, fuel prices etc.

Trust me they are really hoping Zambians will overlook the mess and give them a sympathy vote. Explains EL crying and thumping his chest in “agony”.

They are panicking. The only way out is to try to rig but that is a non starter. Three years in power. Some in diaspora aren’t sleeping either – because they will be issued with one way tickets to go back to buying mealie meal at the new high price and also fuel.

Agony is to have been sent to…

  46. @ Pretty,
Four months ago we had by elections in areas where PF is not strong, UPND and ZWD predicated that they will will all the seats. After the results PF got 4 seats, MMD 1, UPND 1. But sad for UPND they even lost a seat which was held by their vice president

    • @Grand you said let’s wait for elections. What is your problem now? Feeling the pressure?

PF was rigging full time and you know that. That is why you are failing to relax as you know this time no rigging. You chased Kabimba who would have driven your campaign with “FIRE”.

  47. Winning for People’s Faulty (PF) party was never anchored on the working together of the acting president and the presidential candidate. People will still consider whether voting for the PF would still be the better option based on how the PF faired during their three years in power. I believe the poor economical management exhibited by the PF will have a greater bearing. Never before have people been buying a bag of mealie meal at over K70, dollar rate being above K6, fuel prices over K10. it is the PF government under Zambia’s most celebrated president that failed to recognize Henry Sosala as chitimukulu of the bemba speaking people, removed the subsidies with the retains from there only known by them where it went, the PF promised a people driven constitution within 90 days

  48. of being in power but three years after that the constitution was never realized, more money in people’s pocket was never fulfilled and that may still be lingering in people’s mind, talk about the employment and wage freeze, the firing of over 500 health workers? Consistence would have helped PF win even by a sympathetic vote but alas, the confusions which were not mainly Guy Scot’s fault as he was not the only one who was there when such anti citizens policies were being approved. Edgar Lungu, who seems to be a hero today was there from the word go. He was a home affairs minister when police were sent to ensure that Sosala doesn’t occupy the royal house within the Bemba region, he supported the motion in parliament that supported the wage freeze, the increase in retirement age to 65,…

  49. what really is there that people should wish to get from PF by letting them continue in power beyond 2015? God himself gave an opportunity for Zambians to liberate ourselves from the leadership of the PF, why cant we see things that way?

  50. It was hard for RB to cede power when he lost to the late Sata, but he was man enough to respect the will of the people. I hope PF will also be caring enough for the people and are prepared to respect people’s choice come 20th January 2015 and be willing to hand over power to whichever new political grouping wins. others may be seeing PF as party capable of winning the coming bye election but I don’t see it that way.

  51. @ Pretty,
The last four elections PF won were done without Kabimba as SG.
Flight HH 2014 went missing in Mangango, after two weeks it resurfaced in Zambezi west, it again went missing with the UPND vp on board. In eastern it showed no signs of appearing on the rader.

    @ China,
PF has been winning these by elections in rural areas where the majority are farmers.

    • @ 66 GRAND

Any idea how many games Germany has lost since winning the World Cup in Brazil? That’s the slipperiness of playing against an underdog. PF could pay heftily for their big-headedness. By the way, do you recall how everyone thought the great Titanic was unsinkable? It wasn’t.

  52. @ Pretty,
Past of 4 months ago is better than a baseless assumption.
By the way do you know how many by elections we have had since 2011 ? We have had 21.
PF has won 15, MMD & UPND have shared 6.
I realy don’t see where you are banking ?

  53. Attended the kitwe rally today, you couldn’t Miss how people are yawning for change. I liked the straight talk from Hon Mutations and Dr.Musokotwane. As an observer, PF needs to work extra hard if they are to avoid being benched back into opposition.

  54. I see a difference in the way that PF and non-PF celebrate a successful filing.
The whole blog is fettered with disgraceful commentary, calling out non-PF supporters and even aligning them to PF or otherwise labelling them as Tonga!

    So crass and unintelligent Sha!

  55. Let’s digress a little bit.
In today’s Past editorial Mmembe describes VJ as a ” nationalist, nation builder, and patriot”. Now I wondered, isn’t this the man Mmembe called all sorts of insults that could come to his head?
Coming to the PF, Mmembe seems to have just realized that Sata was a dictator. Mr Mmembe all these years when Sata was your Michael you did not know him?

  56. It was nice to reconcile, since the party is dead, just like dead people have no life and can not fight, people would have thought there was a ghost. January 21 we will have new president, genuine justice minister. New chief justice, bank governor, the clean up is a long list. Thugs and thieves will be reduced by 85%

  57. Leave the dead alone. Sata died so did PF. What has been made worse is the lack of leadership in those remaining moppets.
Did you see how Scott was dressed? I think they just forced him. The wife had to carry a pant for him! This was not fair. All this was because of the army threat and those vomits from Luo and that ever ready Jean or is it Jin Kapata.

  58. at big giant…complaining about biasness just read you HH news (zambian watchdog which is not biassed and hear what you want to hear)….

  59. Thanx so much to Bishop Banda, Fr Chilinda, Fr Bwalya for your prayers, indeed the struggles and quarrels in the parties is spiritul, satan’s agents the freemasons are on the loose to cause this confusions in other parties so that they achieve their goal the devil is a liar, the enemy has now scattered.keep on praying VIVA PF

    • My friend – latest it is Lungu who brot in Sangoma from Mozambique.. Someone has posted a comment revealing all the happenings on todays article “Government needs to ensure that we are getting a fair deal from the Mines-HH” read the comments. you’ll be disappointed.

  60. Nr 74 keep on dreaming. We cant stop you but wake up on 21 January, Edgar Chagwa Lungu will be heading to State House.

    Nipa Pabwatoooooo !

  61. WHY I WILL NOT VOTE FOR HH!!

    1. He is over promising so many free things!!As an accountant he should know that that is a recipe for failure!!A realistic and borderline approach as stated by the EL Team is what is workable come 2015.
    2. I don’t want experiments at the highest office in the country!!NO,NOT NOW!!HH clearly is talking about a set of experiments that surely will not work for the country at the moment and surely a step backwards on the gains the PF has made so far.for all the negatives that some have against the PF,I think their ambitious transformation of this country will surely pay off in the near future, actually for many it has started yielding benefits already, therefore continuity is a more plausible argument than change!!

    EL2015

  62. zambian ambassadors, diplomates and officials including their children who were appointed on tribe, relationship and friendship are in a panic on face book trying to campaign for pf but they are not on the ground hahahha hehehehe hihiihi just come to Zambia and campaign not overseas,it ll not make any impact .am also a bemba but I don’t condon pointing pipo based on cadreship, tribe, race, friendship or relationship,i give a big NO.we want de schooled to occupy those places not cadres.our friends and relatives who deserve those mwalyibachinga nama cadres this time we shall see come 20th January 2015 ni HH chapwa.

  63. We salute you Kabwe. It is even harder to say bye to such great multitudes that came to this 21st December RALLY.

May you do donchi kubeba on 20th January and get this country moving forward

    2015 vote PF (Edgar)

    I thank you

  64. Agony is when people are shouting aleisa! aleisa! only to see Edgar Lungu emerge as the sixth republican president

Viva mwamukolo ni kwa mungu ki bo edgar fela

Aliyeni aliyeni banana ni ba chembele ki bo edgar.

    Iitumezi( I thank you)
