PF reconciliation presser at GRZ house in Lusaka today

Acting President Guy Scott says the reconciliation that has taken place in the ruling PF means that all differences that existed earlier in the party are now buried.

Dr. Scott says the ruling PF is now back in business and that it is now looking forward to participating in the 2015 presidential election.

Speaking this morning at media briefing held in Lusaka Dr. Scott who flanked by PF president Edgar Lungu, disclosed that in the conciliatory meeting that was held last night it was agreed between the Edgar Lungu group and the Miles Sampa group that a line be drawn across the past.

Dr. Scott states that this implies that all that has happened in the last two months has no impact on the path that the ruling party is now headed.

He says the party is also mindful that it has an election in four weeks in which it has to retain the republican presidency.

The Acting President has since paid tribute to Assemblies of God Bishop Joshua Banda for having facilitated the reconciliation process of the ruling party.

And Dr. Scott has reiterated his promise of ensuring that the 2015 presidential election are held in a free and fair manner.

He says if his party wins the election, which he says his confident it will, it has to do so without any corruption, violence and without any sins that are specified in the electoral code of conduct.

And Mr. Lungu who sat next to Dr. Scott, has observed that there is no winner or loser in the reconciliation that has taken place in the ruling PF.

Mr. Lungu notes that the reconciliation that has taken place is package that includes not only Dr. Scott but all other party members such as Miles Sampa who is the Commerce Deputy Minister and the PF Matero Member of Parliament.

He says with this reconciliation it has also been agreed in principal that all matters that are before the courts of law be withdraw.

Mr. Lungu has told journalists that the party will consult with its legal advisers on the proper format of withdrawing the cases given the costs and other process involved.

He says he is optimist that in the same spirit of dialogue will triumph over the withdrawal of the cases.

Speaking shortly after the media briefing Kasama Central Member of Parliament Geoffrey Mwamba pledged his full support to the ruling party’s campaign with the view of making certain that Mr. Lungu wins presidential election.

And Youth and Sport Minister Chishimba Kambwili who was the master of the ceremony at the media briefing has also observed that the opposition is jittery now that the ruling party has united as they know that they are in trouble.

Among the notable people that attended the media briefing include PF Secretary General Davis Chama, Lusaka Mayor Mulenga Sata, Mines, Foreign Affairs Minister Harry Kalaba, Tourism and Arts Minister Jean Kapata, Energy Minister Christopher Yaluma, Local government Minister Emmanuel Chenda, Southern Province Minister Daniel Munkombwe, RDA Board chairman Willie Nsande and ABZ president Frank Bwalya

    • I know and all of you know it,EL is a man of the moment, HH suppoters just get ready as the journey starts now, you dont need to hate Guy cott for what he has done is good thing to support EL.

    • @Thrash metal exactly, PF cadres equate reconciliation to winning. That is what PF cadres are failing to see. HH is carrying the day for your information..

My question to Katondo boys is why is the reconciliation so important for you as a cadre? Does it guarantee winning bcos misuse of resource? I don’t get it. Katondo boys help me out. Plse no insults.

      Viva#FlightHH2015& 2016.

    • Thrash Metal

Do you play guitar? If yes are you a Gibson fun or a Fender fun?

I play bass guitar. .the old school Yamaha.

      Anyway back to Politics

2015 Edgar has just won the elections

      I thank you

    • Does it mean that PF can now use government resources for campaigning and dip their sticky fingers in the nation´s cookie Jar? Reconcile or not HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH… Zambia Forward. WE ARE NOT LOOKING BACK, we might turn into a pillar of salt!

    • Why PF cant lose and fail to move zambia foward [
1, PF has about 72 mps as at now making it almost 50/50 to MMD combined with UPND
2 ,Already forms a stable gvt which means making changes to the gvt will not be a challange for example coming up with a consitution.
4 PF Grassroot support all around which its not likely to lose.
5, no any other potical party is pressing PF as UPND has no specific arguments to accuse pf
6, EL is loved eveywhere so expect even those that started supporting HH to backdown now.
7,He really lookes that he shall rule by law making people to start liking him unlike others puting everything in themselves by declaring they will legalise this and that while aparently not knowing the separation of powers
      Vote stable man, EL.

    • Reconciliation meant to access public funds.
Scott looks like a person who was drugged and coerced into it. I pity the guy!

    • @Pretty

The importance in the reconciliation cannot seriously…,be lost on you.

For a while HH supporters have been dining out on the conflict in the PF Party. More accurately your ‘crowing’ was all about the voters joining HH because of it.

The way it stands right now, is that LUNGU has once again shown he has ability to INFLUENCE his peers to move to the correct path.

Without reconciliation, they were not going to win, self destruct…I believe you were after.

You guys now need a new SLOGAN……er…and the election’s in a months time approx. Already changing your strategy? Again that’s a plus for LUNGU it proves yet again his ability to influence even the Opposition.

BEAUTIFUL STORY OF FORGIVENESS in a Christian Country….(secretly, believe Fr. Bwalya has…

    • @Patriot Abroad… What do u mention the importance can’t be seriously lost on me? Isn’t it all about misusing tax monies? You are failing to admit it is to do with the abuse of resources and now finding ways of justifying your failure by claimimg you can’t explain it to me.

And you strongly believe with the reconciliation PF is going to win? Why because they will abuse resources. Good luck.

Can’t wait to hear how the PF rally goes this time with Scott on board… scoff

    • VIVA H.E EDGAR LUNGU !!

Now go on and take your rightful and destined Presidential Sit !

UPND a ‘kamulia bo’ party your wishful dreams are diminishing !!

ALL THE WAY TO STATE HOUSE EDGAR LUNGU !!

    • I have always said that the majority of Zambians are gullible and dull. In enlightened societies PF would not be a factor thin the Jan 2015 polls but it will not surprise me if the PF retain the Republican Presidency despite the the lies that brought them to power, the arrogance and mismanagement of national affairs that we have seen over the last 3 years.
No wonder the Post Newspaper plays a blind eye to the “exposures” of their background dealings and continue to get away with their personal agendas.
HH will not change anything on the Political landscape of the nation nor will anyone – since they are all in it for the money.
The best HH can do is improve the Agriculture sector and perhaps give Zambian entreprenuers a “real chance” since those two aspects stand out on his CV.

    • @ Pretty the above for you,

..AT LEAST WE KNOW WHERE THE FUNDING IS FROM unlike HH’s funding from mysterious sources!

    • 1.17 @Patriot abroad I get it. You will do whatever it takes to be done to cling onto power. Shame on you.

I really hope that Scott sticks to his words —

“He says if his party wins the election, which he says his confident it will, it has to do so without any corruption, violence and without any sins that are specified in the electoral code of conduct.”

Did you read that – corruption, violence etc.

Can i hear a growling stomach???

    • Imwe, PF lied so many times. they vehemently lied about the health of their great leader michael sata. when he was busy in being looked after and nursed in bed, they told the zambian people ati he is busy working. Why would anybody in their right mind vote for such a bunch? Atleast teach them a lesson that they should not lie to you as the people. Politicians are not our masters, but are our servants. they work for us, we actually pay them their salaries etc. Ka george chellah kaliluba nokuluba aka mwaice, we told him, dont celebrate too soon. we are coming for all those monies you stole to build mansions mambala iwe. utekanye sana, waumfwa?

    • This only serves to open a new can of worms for EL. I pit this fellow. He should have been out enjoying his beer day-in and day-out. This new terrain is not one he will ever get accustomed to. Had he even a tiny grain of humour, he could have forced a smile. But all one sees in his face, even at this inglorious moment of so called “reconciliation,” is resentment and hate. He is a despot for sure, good enough only for a bottle of kachasu.

    • Don’t think they can negotiate the Contempt of Court case though, because that’s the Laws decision. Maybe they will apologise, but if I were Mulenga, I’d still slam, Atanga, Sampa, Guy (immune?)etc. they went too far.

The Law cannot change its Contempt Laws just for them. Am waiting to see how they negotiate that.

    • @Nostra
they just buried a the hatchet,,, but the forgot to burry the bottle of vodka or at least to break the bottle on top of the grave

    • Latest news @ Katondo Boys –

“Due to poor turnout of supporters, PF has cancelled the much publicised rally that was supposed to be held near Freedom Statute.
The attendance at the Supreme court was so poor that even the most overzealous PF cadre Emmanuel Mwamba failed to post any photos. He was just posting pictures showing Edgar Lungu talking to a small, embarrassing crowd. Today is a weekend and it was expected that the PF will have an advantage over those who filed during the week. Edith Nawakwi had a big crowd than the PF at the Supreme Court.”
      source ZWD

    • @ricky bobby – why not trust the watchdog when they were the only ones telling us the truth about the health of president sata. everybody else was saying he is healthy. lelo, mwalimona ifyachitike. dont just dismiss anything, infact it is you we should not trust with whatever you write, kaili you lied to us about the health of president sata ati he is busy working, kanshi umuntu ali ku drip mu nkwazi house. Ba PF ubufi tamwakaleke, i just pray the zambians atleast teach you a lesson about lieing. this is one lesson you need taught to you.

  1. Ba LT – we want pics from the Supreme court when Drunken Master files his nomination papers. From Mwebantu online the pics aren’t impressive. PF cadres claim otherwise.

  2. These guys are not reconciled at heart but outwardly. just wait for the elections which is a secrete vote. A good number of Sampa and scot’s men will vote for HH. Mark my words.

  3. Nostradamus

where exactly do you come from in the southern Province?
Are you from Zimba or Pembroke

2015 Edgar has just won the elections

    I thank you

  4. Yes, this is good news. It may be the fourth, fifth or seven hundred and seventy seventh time they are reconciling but reconciliation is such a good thing everytime it happens.
Reconciliation is what the world needs right now, from Syria to Lebanon, from Tel A Viv to Beirut. The devil begins to panick when people reconcile. He and his company of haters start feeling strange…

    • It still remains reconciliation even if you do it a million times! You can call it “forgiveness” if you like because it is the same thing.
People are always offending each other and everytime they forgive each other and the harmony is restored, it is called reconciliation.

  5. I wanted them to lock themselves up and come back speaking with one voice. In theory it looks like they’ve managed to do that with this reconciliation package/back in business talk. In practice it will only be successful if they can get to January 20th by heeding their own promises above. Let’s see what free and fair looks like in practice. Chuckle.

    • This is a come downer of sorts…..pop corns popped out!! What are we going to do for entertainment? Expect boxing matches between Cadres …even that seems remote!

    • Nah. I’m not in to violence, chica! I’m more the watch a happy home break up type of cold… y’know sort of like when marriage of convenience ends. Today’s your day so I will pour you my non alcoholic strawberry cocktail as love is in the air. Volatile young thug love. Can’t wait to see the newly weds walking in together, military style, under an arch of pangas. Then they’ll drive off to the mosque with tin cans rattling behind the short distance chopper. Chuckle.

  6. whether you have reconciled or not ,us Zambians its flight HHHHHHH.
Don’t even be fooled PF whether you lay a wreath on Sata, whether you walk or fly from Supreme to freedom HHHHH is the answer.
whether you reverse the retirement age, reinstate the nurses who suffered at your expense dear or dear ASK RUPIAH ITS TIME FOR CHANGE

  7. Now Zambian Christians pray the more, and expel demons that have been imported into the country by some evil men; who are boasting as if they are already in power. Let JESUS be Lord and satan be under his feet were he belongs

  8. Yes , let us go PF and Lungu. Time is now to pound and whip HH and UPND for the straight fourth time. HH is losing come 20 January 2015. HH alala alala. Please people of Zambia carry the heavy burden for HH for he is struggling with it…but I hear people of Zambia saying no we will not help him coz he is so childish and a liar who promises false hood. Hooo people of Zambia then have sympathy for HH please , then I heard a very big and loud voice saying tell ” Hakaivotela Heka (HH)” to go hang with his promises.

Hey guys come and welcome Lungu the 6th president of Zambia.

Peace and Prosperity to Mother Zambia.

  9. Fellow Zambians, especially Christians, let us open our eyes and see what these people are doing whether it pleases our God or not. EL went to the grave yard to seek the dead Sata’s powers, at the instruction of a sangoma from Mozambique, instead of praying to God. This is abomination because God hates it. These top Pf mafias are idol worshipers who have nothing to do with God at heart but by mouth. Refuse to be deceived by their rhetoric and vote wisely lest you be a partaker of their iniquities because if this man wins Zambia will live under a curse for the next 50 years. Zambia under pf will go nowhere. I would rather side with God’s Word than go by tribal insinuations. God help and deliver us from satan’s schemes in Jesus’ Name I pray. HH you have my vote.

  10. @ “…We’ve buried the hatchet; reconciliation…”. I’m sure that ‘hatchet’ has just been hidden. It will be retrieved sooner or later. This is just pretence and hypocritical. M’membe who is using Miles Sampa and Scott has too big an ego to reconcile with anyone.

Scott all along was fooling us that his is uncompromising because he was all about obeying the law. Now he is telling the world it was all personal. Do these guys even aware of what they do and say? All thus immaturity at the expense of poor Zambians.

  11. This is definitely good news for the majority of Zambians but unfortunately this is very bad news for the Zambian watchdog and it’s followers and very very very bad news for HH.

“We are at war with the devil and the devil cannot win”
    FTJ chiluba (MYSRIP)

The devil has been put in his place…praise be to God…….thank you Jesus

Zambia wasn’t declared a Christian Nation for nothing.

Thank you Scott. …thank you GBM…thank you Sampa for saying NO to the devil

2015 Edgar has just won the elections

    I thank you

  12. Chamibaba ba UPND cadres!you had strong hope that your HH,a man specialised in benefiting from confusion will once more benefit here-NEVER!its enough to benefit from our beloved Mazoka’s death!CONGRATS TO GUY SCOTT,MILES SAMPA,EDGAR LUNGU AND OTHERS!am too glad today.NOW WINA AZALILA!!What a nice day.please PF lovers lets turn up in large numbers on 20/01/15 so that we can easily defeat HH!its same register to used so 2011 results even those in september 2014 favour PF greatly!VIVA EL VIVA PF!

  13. Reconciliation meant to access public funds.
Scott looks like a person who was drugged and coerced into it. I pity the guy!

    • Yeah, could be! But at least we KNOW WHERE, they are getting the money.

It’s HH mystery foreign influenced, sponsors we need worry about!

    • Game over for HHS! This is a done deal! Helicopters and planes are now at our disposal. It’s constitutional. EL will be campaigning with Acting President, so it PF ONLY pay ballot.
Mr. Saga is now resting in peace.

      Viva Edgar Viva PF.

  14. Tribalism and regionalism are threatening to rip apart Zambia IF HH wins (God forbid). With HH in the Presidium, Tongas can promote a new breed of tribalism never seen anywhere on earth. Tongas are known for not respecting other tribes. Just look at all the moments when a tonga man or woman was in charge; they made their subordinates suffer unnecessarily. I am supporting the candidature of Lungu principally because the man represents the majority of people and his office will be accessible to all. HH and the secret group he belong to have failed to stop this humble man of the soil.

  15. Where exactly did you bury the Hatchette Scott?!

    They all look constipated!

Anyway, this charade shows they appreciate they were self destructing. Poor Lungu looks a frail from the stress of it all.

He is such a humble and clearly emotional man.

WHAT A GREAT LEADER WE HAVE IN LUNGU.

    • Mei Matungu

Sad moment for you coz today you are not smiling…..so if you can see sad faces in these pictures you definitely need to go to church tomorrow my dear friend.

A moment of reconciliation is always a somber moment. .it’s a moment of deep thoughts and you rarely see somebody smiling….true reconciliation is from the heart…..inside…you don’t need to flash a big smile for the cameras. …..I know you are very anti PF but please give credit where it’s due.

2015 Edgar has just won the elections

      I thank you

    • @ 23.1 Katondo boys

Actually I am not anti-PF. It is the confusion in PF that I loathe. I believe Edgar Lungu is more the culprit. I would not have cared whoever it was who was going to succeed legendary Sata. But I do care when democracy is sacrificed. Again I blame EL for that. As for the non-smiling faces, you surely have succeeded to make lemonade out of that lemon juice.

    • @ 23.1 Katondo boys

As a matter of fact, I believe it to have been a positive development that PF is now in the hands of a non-Sata family member and a non-Bemba. What is sad is that the delivery was a C-Section conducted by a trainee surgeon, a recent graduate of Katondo University. There is no reason why it should not have been a normal delivery.

Witnessing that tumultuous recent C-Section being conducted in PF only served to bring back the ugly memory of yet another C-Section we had seen in UPND about a decade ago. Why are Zambians scared of true democracy?

PF could have made history recently by demonstrating to the world that we are indeed a maturing democracy in Africa. Sadly, Lungu had to be delivered via a C-Section – by a show of hands. How insulting that was!

    • @ 23.1 Katondo boys

Katondo boys, allow me to stretch this analogy a little further. Following Mazoka’s demise, UPND got pregnant with a new party leader. Everyone expected a normal delivery. To our disgruntlement, it wasn’t. Instead, UPND went for a C-Section. HH was born. That never came free though. It came at a hefty price to UPND.

Following Sata’s demise, PF also got pregnant with a new leader. We all got excited. A pregnancy always brings excitement. Once more we looked forward to the birth of the new leader via a normal delivery. Sadly, PF opted for a C-Section and gave birth to EL; and also at a hefty price.

Now Zambia is pregnant with a new leader. The two – EL and HH are in her womb. One wonders if this is going to be yet another C-Section or a normal delivery?

    • You will die because of your hatred for a person you hardly know personally but get fake reports from ZWD. Give yourself some relief. Channel that energy you are using to hate Lungu to something constructive. You might just strike some gold if you did. Too much energy wasted in hatred ndugu yangu Mei Matungu. Relax!

  16. UPND supporters still looking around for some bad news….not any more Mwailasha kwa zeko….mwaloba ilyauma. …

Zambia is a peaceful country so don’t sit behind your keyboard overseas and hope for confusion back home here in Zambia. That’s not being patriotic. …” Pass me some popcorn” pass me this…pass me a puke bucket..kwati mule wamya….but now no more popcorn but definitely will pass you a puke bucket and loads of diapers coz now you will be shitting non stop till January 21

2015 Edgar has just won the elections

    I thank you

  17. What is Father Bwalya and ABZ’s role in this process? This is where things seem chaotic. Just what is going on?

    • Dr Eustace wabo

Do you really expect an answer for a question like this one sure Twapapata….Fr Bwalya is a Zambian and he can go anywhere he wants. Even our Friend HH if he wanted to attend this meeting ….he should have been allowed to attend. ..as a Zambian and our brother.

please learn to separate politics and humanity(goodwill)

So there is nothing wrong with Fr Bwalya attending the reconciliation meeting. ….but if you have a problem with that. ..then I have a problem with you.

      2015 vote PF ( Edgar )

      I thank you

    • He’s got dirt on Scott and the boys! Whatever it is, that’s scared Scott to this surely! Intriguing…..mmmmmmmm!

    • Katondo boys respcect to you for the way you have answered ba Wabo wesu. He has a problem with Father Bwalya attending that meeting but has no problem with MMD MPs attending HH’s rallies and campaigning for him. Where have we thrown ubuntu kansi? We are still humans despsite the fact that we have political differences. THe fact that you support a different candidate from me does not make you my enemy. Let’s learn to co-exist with our differences whether they be political, religious, ethinicity or racial. One love!

    • I will normally avoid giving credence to immaterial responses by keeping quiet but can’t help to pump sense into people like you. What I meant is that there are no resources to loot on that forum. Your late almighty HEMCS read into people like your ‘Father’ and showed him where the British Council was. Am sure you know what I mean. Scott has been guarding the resources from abuse to avoid the WAY RB’s MMD did. Do you get this simple logic?

    • Ba Wantanshi

      Elo mwashibuka nomba nechila nachipwa….

You too late my dear friend

2015 Edgar has just won the elections

      I thank you

    • And you call the majority voters thugs? Then let’s see who is the boss? Armchair critic or the ordinary?

Message taken. You have insulted the poor.

Viva PF VIVA EDGAR VIVA THE POOR

  18. HH and Maureen Mwanawasa are committing serious political blunders with long-term implications that will haunt them in the long-run if they think that they can run the country for five or 10 years or whatever by only championing the interests of their ethnic communities at the expense of others. Similarly the Jubilee administration of President Designate Edgar Chagwa Lungu and Vice President Inonge Wina / Sampa should remember that it is a government of all Zambians, not just two ethnic communities they come from. The two should ensure that all the 73 ethnic communities including the minority whites and Asians feel represented in government and are part of it for the sake of national unity, peace and stability.

Bwalya has dirt one them)!

  20. Mutumba Mwila why are u sounding so much with resentment and you are claiming to be a christian which christian hates reconciliation? ooh poor you, you are so hate with this reconciliation right? then i doubt if you are a christian. and the rest of you that are talking about smiling you want them to be smiling non_stop

    • Sante

You right my dear friend. ..now you know why UPND will never win an electronic. …all Opposition Parties have welcomed the PF reconciliation except for UPND….advocates of hate.

Not in Zambia. ..if HH and his supporters can ride on bad news, then they should look around and find a different country to rule. …Zambia has just said NO to the devil.

2015 Edgar has just won the elections

      I thank you

  21. For sure the HH camp is mourning for now they are sure that they have lost the elections 2015. kekeke kikikik . They are fuming in disbelief…

Peace and Prosperity to mother Zambia.

  22. ****The first Zambian watchdog and hard-core anti PF blogger to accept defeat is Mei Matungu. ….still waiting for Nostradamus, Wantanshi, pretty, Jessie wa mu town and Anderson Chisala real name Anthony Hachiswenya to accumulate defeat

    2015 vote PF ( Edgar )

    I thank you

    • @Katondo boys are you claiming defeat bcos you think the elections will be rigged? and resources misused? My guess is that you really miss Late Sata.

Karma – The great equalizer – remember all those times HH wasn’t allowed to campaign freely? Exactly.

      Shame on you.

  23. @ 23.1 Katondo boys

I acknowledge it be a positive development that PF is now in the hands of a non-Sata family member and a non-Bemba. What is sad is that the delivery was a C-Section conducted by a trainee surgeon, a recent graduate of Katondo University. There is no reason why it should not have been a normal delivery.

    • Mei Matungu – Edgar Lungu may not be Bemba but he is related to the Late Sata. Edgar Lungu and Mulenga Sata’s mothers are sisters.

    • @ 33.1 Pretty

Interesting. So it’s all one and the same thing after all! What a circus. Thanks for the enlightenment.

    • Mei Matuungu and Pretty trying to confort themselves. How come your party UPND is the only party that campaigns by discrediting others. The problem is that you don’t work hard to convince the masses by instead rely on other parties’ misfortune. Now you see yaluka. Hahaha!
Chewas have a saying, “Mwayi wamunzako sagonela nao panja” translated, “You can’t sleep outside because your friend slept outside the other night and was not attacked by heynas”

  24. Reconciliation is a process not an event. Dont expect EL and GS to just smile like robots. It will take time. But the fact is PF is united to return the presidency. PF has more to loss than UNDP and the rest. So it is in the best interest for PF to unite. By the way GS likes to follow the law. GS will ensure HH follows the law of the land. Up until now HH suppoters including HH himself were signing praise for GS. LeNow may the real GS stand up…

    • @PanAfricanist

Yes, reconciliation takes time. The only problem is there is no time left. PF has only 4 weeks to catch up. They even don’t have a message yet.

I don’t know what you mean GS will make sure HH follows the law. What kind of gibberish is that? GS was talking about PF using public resources, not HH using his own resources. That is why GS was talking about following the law not to allow EL to use government money for his campaign. That is the problem with you PF cadres, you don’t even know how to use your brains.

    • @ 34.1 Judge Masipha

You decry the shortness of time – “only 4 weeks for PF to catch-up.” The wounds in PF are deep, gaping and festering. Even after years of healing, ugly scars will still remain.

  25. Nothing much to say.The PF family should have been in order ages ago since they new the Cobra was ailing.Numbers count here and in any election. You cant infuriate the voters and expect them to support you.Not at all.Zambians are taking this election very seriously just like the 1964 and the 1991 one.It is clear HH has the numbers.GOD BLESS ZAMBIA.

  26. Congratulations GBM, GUY SCOTT, MILES SAMPA, SYVIA MASEBO and other compatriot PF members this is the way forward ,we love this party and you have our support, you were almost giving the presidency to HH on a silver plate. Even the bad eggs we rejected in 2011 took advantage by joining forces with UPND.

  27. Judge Masipha you are true Tongo-Bull. Not brains just adrenaline runing thru your veins. We get it HH has some support, is it enough to be the next President? No one knows?

  28. A group of desperate greedy power hungry unprincipled cadre politicians claiming to reconcile. I hope most Zambians can see them for what they are. There is no prospect of moving from the stone age with this lot. Is this the calibre of people that should be entrusted with the running of a nation in this time and age? If Zambians make the same mistake as they did in 2011, ….. I will begin to believe one or two theories that I was sceptical about, before.

  29. whilst i will vote for HH, let me say its good that our opposition has reconciled. this is how it should be. now let them go out there and campaign on issues. for example let them tell the people how well they have done on roads, how bad they have done on agriculture, how badly they have taken illiterates in foreign service, how corruption really hasnt disappeared, how cadres are still grabbing land from innocent widows. how they will unite Zambians not this stuff i keep on hearing from people, its like you have to apologise first before saying what tribe you are. we need unity in this country. all the 73 tribes including the new ones being born by cross breeding chinese with zambians must be free. I still repeat that i will vote for HH and i wish peace upon all Zambians.

  30. Reconciliation is good. However, the reconciliation is necessitated by the huge force coming against them. They realize they have lost the plot to HH and they have to make last minute desperate attempts to patch up using bubble gum.

  31. @Katondo

I wake to find “Jessie wa mu town” all over the blog. Today your candidate files. It’s your day.

    Enjoy.

(Though I know I’m in for a treat, especially once the pictures non-pictures start to arrive.

  32. Reconciliation is a noble act of bringing people together to be friendly again or coming to an agreement……what PF has just done is a lesson to all peace loving Zambians…not only in Politics but in our daily lives as well to start forgiving each other and move the country forward. I call upon all Opposition Parties to accept the outcome of the January 20 elections and sit down with whoever will win the elections (Edgar)
to try to work together as ONE ZAMBIA ONE NATION.

2015 Edgar has just won the elections

    I thank you

  33. Following Mazoka’s demise, UPND got pregnant with a new party leader. Everyone expected a normal delivery. To our disgruntlement, it wasn’t. Instead, tribal zealots hijacked the process and UPND was forced to go for a C-Section. HH was born. That never came free though. It came at a hefty price to UPND.

Following Sata’s demise, PF also got pregnant with a new leader. We all got excited. A pregnancy always brings excitement. Once more we looked forward to the birth of a new leader via normal delivery. Sadly, some zealots within PF opted for a C-Section leading to the birth of EL. That too has come at a hefty price.

Now Zambia is pregnant with a new leader. The two – EL and HH are in her womb. One wonders if this is going to be yet another C-Section or a normal delivery?

  34. Was HH really at UNZA? How come no one remembers him? Loner as his face shows? Awe ka Chemeni in’gombe imwe. Ba HH, leave politics to us tafyamilinga.

    • Yes he was at UNZA and if remember very well, HH went to UNZA in 1980(I could be mistaken). In second year he was suspended for one year. HH was a loner whose few friends were those he had come from secondary with.

  35. This so called “reconciliation” only serves to open a new can of worms for Edgar Lungu. I feel sorry for the guy. He should have been out enjoying his beer day-in and day-out. This new terrain is not one he will ever get accustomed to. Had he even a tiny grain of humour, he could have forced a smile. But all one sees in his face, even at such a defining moment as this is resentment and hurt. He has been battered too much already, no doubt. He is a despot for sure, good enough only for a bottle of kachasu. Otherwise, who really has been the author of his problems, if not himself?

  36. Pretty

Your screen name is very popular in Jamaica……

You sound like you the only UPND supporter still standing. …..you buddy Jessie wa mu town and Mei Matungu have ditched UPND.

Come let’s all have fun together. …it’s early Christmas for Zambia today.

Mwanawakwitu said it’s double Christmas. ..well I don’t know about that but I guess he is just overwhelmed coz am overwhelmed too as you can see from my typo errors. …every time I type HH my auto type corrects it to Edgar…..strange. …

2015 Edgar has just won the elections

    I thank you

  37. those who want to see ama pics you go ku mwebantu news media,HH is urinating in his pants since i have sent him a pic via facebook and tagged the chap….

  38. Mei Matungu

Remember I once told you that I haven’t paid my rentals in my 2 room house in George compound for 6 months….today someone offered to pay half…3 months ….so am having triple Christmas this year…..i only have to hustle for 3 months rent…..and the landlord is happy too…..is this the Edgar effect. ..am just wondering. ..everybody seems to have embraced humility and kindness…aren’t you happy to Zambian right now…

2015 Edgar has just won the elections

    I thank you

    • @ 50 Katondo boys

Good for you. Merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous 2015. However, you will be wise to please hold-off on the “Edgar effect,” before you jump to the conclusion that it is. It calls for a miracle. Remember, this duel pits the infamous Katondo Boys, commonly known as the EL Cartel against the notorious Mapanzhya trail blazers, both adept at the use of the knife! I am terrified and shudder at what may be in the offing. Hope it won’t be a double C-Section! Just a joke…

  39. Jessie wa mu town

Thank you for joining the winning team. ..am glad you have realized that PF is only party that can move the country forward. …

Please stop by tomorrow at CBI building in Matero and don’t forget to bring some Sugar canes from Mazabuka

2015 Edgar has just won the elections

    I thank you

    • Katondo boys, How was the planned pf rally (opposite freedom statue ) you advertised yesterday? Post some pictures please

    • What?? Katondo mentioning me Again!!

      @Katondo
Boy, I wish you were in the US. I’d slap you with a stalking charge so fast your head would spin faster than the kid in The Exorcist.

But you’ll keep trying to engage me dumb****. You can’t help it. It’s what dumb****s do.

  40. Know that this is simply a strategy and nothing more. One needs to understand body language to know what’s going on. What’s Guy Scott’s body telling us? Body language: The gestures, poses, movements, and expressions that a person uses to communicate. 7% VERBAL (Conveyed through words) 38 % VOCAL (intonation , pitch, pauses , etc.) 55 % NON VERBAL (body language). He looks annoyed, hands crossed, no smile and seems very tense. This is nothing but pretence to get the party votes and cheating people into believing they have reconciled. Guy Scott my man. You look bored in your photo’s and have nothing more than a gaze. Even after what they’ve done to you including Edgar Lungu, you are still falling for their childish games?? I expected you to stand your ground. Don’t let them use you…

  41. 33.3 @ RB disciple – who is discrediting who? when HH is called freemanson? When UPND is called tribal?

What have you to say to defend your allegations?

  42. This reconciliation is bad news for the civil servants because it means Government coffers will soon run dry, and when the coffers run dry it means no salaries for you. Guy Scott was trying to protect you and your money, but he has been blackmailed. The solution is for you all civil servants to vote PF out of Government come 20th January 2015, and only then will your money be safe. You see how happy Lungu looks in the photo, it’s because of the same reason, he has now access to your money granted by Scott after twisting his arms.

  43. It is too late for PF to reconcile now. They have already shown the people of Zambia how indesciplined they really are. What with Edgards descegard for their party constitution and last of respect for the sitting president and also travelling to Zimbabwe with presidents permission, not to mention the thieves that surround Edgar Lungu. Dr Scott shuold be weary of this so called reconcilliation. They just want to use him to access state funds and they sure will dump him after elections!!
