The ruling PF 2015 campaign media team has dismissed as lies and malicious suggestions by Zambian Watch Dog reports that ill health prevented PF president Edgar Lungu to resume his campaigns on Saturday yesterday.
PF campaign media team chairperson Emmanuel Mwamba said that much as such malicious media reports should not be dignified by a response from his party, he is of the view that the media reports are only a dirty practice that electorates in the country should condemn.
Mr. Mwamba is wondering whether, by publishing negative reports on the health of Mr. Lungu is an indication that some people have not learnt from the first elections of US president Barack Obama, South African Jacob Zuma and that of late President Michael Sata that negative reports in fact do achieve the opposite.
He told the media that from his experience in politics he has come to the understanding that negative reports during an election only make the voter rally behind the unfairly treated candidate.
The PF campaign media team Chairperson has disclosed that contrary to the said online media reports on Christmas the PF president was actually with his family and later attended the wedding of Yvette Musonda Sata.
He says on Boxing Day as shown by pictures earlier posted on his Facebook page Mr. Lungu spent time in Chongwe area and took time to meet Chiefs.
Mr. Mwamba stated that this therefore implies that Mr. Lungu is clearly well and headed for the Presidency.
He said that Mr. Lungu has overcome so much thrown at him just the last few months that a set of reported alleged lies cannot scuttle his chances.
Obviously ZWD supports HH, but there is no proof that HH supports their type of journalism that is meant to use somebody’s poor health to give HH an advantage in the name of don’t vote somebody who will also die in the office.
I don’t have access to HH, but those reporters that do, could you please ask HH if he approves that messages about Edgar lungu that they are putting out.
There is no perfect specimen of health human being, even HH does not clear all the indicators of good health and certain his wife does not and nobody is haunding them on this issue.
There is no difference between what Bishop Chomba did to HH and what ZWD is doing to EL
So can we know the position of HH if he endorses ZWD and if he does not let him publicly distance himself
UPND people may disagree , but what Bishop Chomba said about HH is dirty campaign and the PF leadership are on record to have distanced themselves from Bishop Chomba

Why should HH be linked to the ZWD? ZWD is an independent online media house. They choose what to write. Anyone who feels aggrieved can sue them. So called Bishop Chomba’s issue is different from this Watchdog story. Leave HH alone and deal with the ZWD if you take this matter seriously. I would give ZWD a benefit of doubt if I was Mwamba because people have not yet forgotten the lies told by PF about Sata ‘s illness.

My friend this kapeya, and Sata saga reloaded. The day Sata was evacuated I wrote that Sata would not be coming back vertical for reasons some us knew that his illness had advanced. But PF cadres called me sorts of names instead of calming down and wait to know the truth.

Emmanuel Mwamba Aka (Katondo Boys) does not believe common sense. HH and Edgar Chagwa Lungu, like other presidential candidates are up and about the country seen very close by Zambians campaigning. Zambians also saw late president Sata in public at the courts, at rare state house meetings etc. Zambians can tell as they see these leaders whose health is of concern and that which is not.
As at now Edgar Chagwa Lungu is seen to be a sick person confirmed by his own admission that he is not well.
To defend the indefensible is self delusion that will haunt you the rest of your life, as lies of denial is haunting PF that Sata was not sick.
I enjoy reading ZWD for their investigative journalism but I feel they have been positively leaning too much towards HH in this runner up to these by-elections and report negatively anything to do with EL. Their tone lacks diplomacy, i guess that is how a whistle blower is trained to write.

Psychological observation and logic seems to verify what the ZWD has revealed on Lungu’s health. Voters must know about the health of candidates and if Lungu is hiding something, then that amounts to deception. Voters must have full information on candidates including Lungu. Wishing another person bad health or luck is tantamount to witch craft. Reporting for public information should be factual. Zambian Watch dog is good for that equally one private owned television station whose reporting is inclined to supporting one opposition political party!
