    • Nothing new in the advert that any politician would not tell would be voters.

We have heard all these before and in fact upnd leads in a number of freebies promised, 213 and still counting.

We want to hear specifics and fundamental policy pronouncements that will set you apart from others

    • Brilliant message but you are the cause of what PF unleashed on us. Had your MMD listened to the cries of the people in the first place, PF would not have got into power to mess up Zambia they way you have described it.

For us its the same message HH has been propagating, and its making sense because he has never been part of any failed government and therefore not tainted by failures of the past regimes.

Its unfortunate that Nevers is tainted by the failed MMD. Its gonna take a long time for people to go back to MMD and take it serious.

For now its HH all the way.

    • Hey we’ ve heard that song before…how about singing one on change of some policies which don’t bring any real advantage to th ordinary Zambian.right now am thinking what has changed in the MMD manifesto..exactly ..nothing..

  1. MMD is busy attacking PF and leaving UPND alone. They are forgetting that they are losing their traditional MMD votes to UPND and if they had strategy, they should really be making sure that they retain their voters as the presidency here is only between UPND and PF

  2. What a clincher of an advert. PF total failures. Mumba is better than them but since he hasn’t garnered enough support I and my friends will vote for HH as a way to stop pf from winning.

  3. Absolutely nothing wrong with the advert. It is actually all true. Except that Nervous is not the one to correct the mess.

  4. Never seen a man that has tried so much for the right and genuine causes but just doesn’t appeal . God bless him. PF have gained ground and even if they win I will remain with my support for HH. Its my right unfortunately PF members would even to rape my 1 month old baby if I had one for that. Animals They are. But hope they learn basics of politics. Still have hope. Lets go HH

  5. PF is worse than UNIP when it comes to intolerance. In 1991, UNIP allowed the MMD to air on ZNBC, their campaign adverts that were critical of UNIP as long as they were factual as this one is. The advert is raising specific failures of the PF Government. But because the failures raised are so true, PF, that believes in lying cannot allow it. Thank God there are other channels that MMD can now use including the social media! PF KUYA BEBELE!

  6. Its actually a good advert. However, MMD will not rise again. HH will be the one to correct all the issues that Dr Mumba has highlighted.

  7. Good and factual advert. The only challenge is that theology and economics are totally different fields! A good number of guys who were failing their form V ended up with PhDs in Theology, how? Unless we are told otherwise, even BA Nevers Mumba form V YALIBA FUBANYA! As far as I’m concerned Dr. Mumba doesn’t have what it takes to turnaround an economy like ours with poverty levels of around 80%. It would take him time to understand economic tools such as Quantitative Easing! For Mr. Lungu, he would think its a name for a child! We need an economic manager!

    • Countries are not run by lawyers, economists (Ask Malawians what happened when Prof Bingu, prof of economists took over – of course economists elsewhere have done well – if only they listen and work with technocrats ), academicians etc. Sustainable development is bigger than one discipline. It needs a multi-disciplined team. A good team but above all a good team leader, with a sound organization and facilitation skills (not the know it all type). What we should be looking for in our candidates is whether or not they have the drive to mobilise, facilitate and provide oversight on all facets of life and development.

  8. Truth hurts indeed. PF wants to sweep the dirty under the carpet. Cancellation or no cancellation of the advert that is the reality that we have witnessed in the past three years. Zambians are no longer gullible and will vote for a candidate whom they think can deliver. HH and Nevers appeal to voters so far although I will go for HH myself.

  9. I WILL VOTE FOR PF. BUT THAT DOES NOT MEAN THEY ARE THE BEST. THIS ADVERT TO ME IS JUST OK. AFTER ALL THAT IS WHAT THE OPPOSITION HAS BEEN SAYING AGAIN AND AGAIN. PF SHOULD FACE THEIR DEMONS. THERE IS NO NEED TO RUN AWAY FROM THE 90 DAYS PROMISES.YOU CAN APPOLOGISE FOR BEING SHORT SIGHTED. YOU CAN ALSO EXPLAIN THAT SOME OF THE ISSUES YOU WERE NOT PRIVY TO. AND MOVE ON. BESIDES I FOR ONE DID NOT VOTE FOR PF BRCAUSE OF THE 90 DAYS PROMISE. IT WAS NOT POSSIBLE.

  10. This advert is not something that can unsettle the support that the PF is enjoying. MMD maintained subsidies on maize and fuel but several critical factors were seriously under funded. PF is one administration that has stretched itself to the furthest in terms of improving the conditions of service for the civil service. In any case the wage freeze has now come to an end. PAYE came down when the the first K2,000 income was made tax free. More money in people’s pocket was achieved for those in the lowest income bracket by the minimum wage. Borrowing in not a crime as long as you have the capacity to pay back and resources are prudently used for development(like PF has done). PF has made a number of commendable bold decisions and given another 10 years this country will change for the…

  11. The advert is short and sweet but also very damaging on the PF. No wonder the cancellation of its airing on the public broadcaster. It was a well-thought out advert. It summarises all the PF failures and lies. It really jolted the PF. The cancellation in itself must make all of us realise that the PF is still telling lies. What are they hiding by cancelling the MMD advert? It means the PF is guilty for failing to deliver in accordance with the promises they made in 2011 and now MMD has exposed them. This is a fantastic advert and has really pierced the PF’s fulcrum. Zambians are determined to still get the truth and we all know what the PF has done in 3 years. The people are crying because mealie meal, transport, fuel, and so many other essentials are beyond the reach of majority…

  12. The race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong……….let’s wait under see “the finger of God”

  13. A LOT OF CBU STUDENTS MAY NOT WRITE SESSIONAL EXAMS AS IT STANDS DUE TO UNPAID FEES, STUDENT REG SYSTEM BEING CLOSED SINCE OCTOBER 6TH HAVING OPENED ON 1ST OCTOBER RESULTING IN STUDENTS BEING ARTIFICIALLY DISADVANTAGED AND NUMEROUS HARDSHIPS OF FINANCIAL NATURE.

POLITICAL COMPAINS ARE GOING ON MEANWHILE WITH CANDIDATE’S POSTERS ALL OVER THE SCHOOL.
