  1. To be fair these are larger crowds than UPND
Whether they will result in votes, that is another question

    Thanks
    BB2014

    • I beg to differ, these actually smallar crowds. Considering that this is in a so called PF stronghold and that this is a final Rally, I think PF supporters should be very concerned. What I know is that Ndola is a Mwanawasa stronghold and Maureen has been working here especially in rural Ndola. UPND is grabing Lunshya, Mpongwe, Ndola, Chingola and Chililabombwe. UPND just needs to narrow the loss margins to no more that 10% on the copperbelt and it will be a done deal. UPND will win Lusaka, just watch this space.

    • Uko…Hakalusa Hagain… Blago, Anderson,Pretty, and many upnd chaps will say these pics were photoshopped, and that the crowd was ferried from other places, that they are there to see how sick Lungu is, that HH had even a bigger crowd.

There is the 6th Zambian President – Edgar C. Lungu.

      Viva EL Viva PF

    • Those are serious voters. If they were not, they would be in their homes watching Africa cup. Soccer is Zambia soul food and for those people to attend rally when games are being played it means something.

    • The difference is UPND doesn´t ferry people from different places. So UPND´s are actually genuine rally attendance.

    • The Post Editorial comment 19/01/2015:…..it doesn’t make sence for Dipak to try and distance Hakainde from Munkombwe’s statements when he himself is comfortable with them, sees nothing wrong with them. Clearly,it is Dipak who is disturbed by Munkombwe’s statements and not Hakainde himself.Anyway,Dipak is in the company of people whose political DNA he does not really understand.By denouncing Munkombwe,Dipak thought he was doing the right thing when he was actually offending the people he is helping to campaign and win an election.

    • EL has won the elections. OP reports filtering to Acting President are very positive. In Copperbelt, Muchinga and Eastern provinces PF is headed for a landslide win. In Luapula and Northern Provinces PF will get 65% of the votes. Lusaka, Central and North western are 50:50. Southern province will be 77% for UPND and Western province lo and behold will be PF 55%.

    • Some upnd cadre on here said he was in the same class as HH…so its official guys we have 52 YEAR OLDs insulting on LT.

I should be laughing but no – am very worried and so should you.

      Viva EL Viva PF…

    • Now look at the crowds HH got in Mandevu final rally. Its too close to call apa. People have nothing better to do because we dont have recreational activities like parks, cheap cinemas, amusement parks, zoos and most importantly work. so people end up going to these rallies because atleast there is some activity there. they c\n be entertained in a way. Crowds are not an indicator of who is winning basa, but in zambia it is a tool used to lure people into voting for a particular party by making them think that this guys or that guy is winning. Zambians vote for somebody they think will win, not what they can do. they want to be on a winning side.
Anyway, ifwe fwebakwa HH, we are confident our man will carry the day. HH is what we need now as a country believe me people!!!!

    • Game over. LT please warn these UNDP cadres that the pictures you are about to see may be disturbing to those with verbal diarrhoea .Like wanzelu

      IFINTU NI LUNGU CHABE

    • CLEAR photoshopped pictures, only a F00l would accept these pictures as genuine. Look at the difference from the people in front and those behind, the “swelling” crowd is not PROPOTIONAL. Open your eyes Zambians, you are too cleaver for this.

    • Good morning bloggers

I woke up at 04:00 to drive 150 km to come to my polling station. I am voter number 7 on this queue.

Today is the litmus test. I will shortly vote for my preferred candidate.

I have been on LT since Sata died. Not even one blog has changed my mind on the verdict I made a long time ago.

Today, I hand down my verdict!!!!

  2. The writing is on the wall El’s family is already preparing to move into Nkwazi house.Malilo is what hh’s family is preparing for.

    • May the best candidate win, However, i really dont think in African politics it is the best candidate who always wins..it is the one who manipulates the minds of the people more. I strongly feel that is the reason why Africa is so underdeveloped.

We usually leave the most suitable candidates because the voting is usually on tribal lines, regional lines, family lines, and the manipulation caused by politicians buying beer and dishing out money to the 1. uneducated
      2. uncivilised rural
      3. the corrupt grassroots e.t.c

I still see the same thing happenning in this election.

    • What Kaseba is doing living in Nkhwazi House? Sata is dead, no more president of Zambia, your relative Lungu is losing. Just get out you shameless widow of shameless Sata. Bembas hegemony is about to be uprooted.

  3. For god sake LT, please respect our intelligence. These images have all been doctored. Look at the crowd standing, how can they suddenly change into a sea of heads. I’ve been a photographer since 1971, I CAN CATEGORICALLY SAY THAT THESE PICTURES ARE FALSE, AND HAVE BEEN DOCTORED. Guys, you check carefully. Look at the transformation from people standing, to heads, how on earth is that possible???

    • @Bashi please do yourself a favour – just accept that Lungu will win. That is if you love yourself which I believe you do.

HH is in serious soup… Losing to a new comer shuwa… And they have all ganged up on the opposition.

      Viva EL Viva PF

    • Vote on the basis of your conscience on whom you want to win not on the crowd. When MMD drew large crowds UNIP said niba Kaponya who have no voters cards.

    • So for Bashi Profit, Lusaka Times is also Pro- EL. Very imaginative. Didn’t I point out how UPND supporter never admit anything hurting? Denial – always. The shock will attack UPND on Wednesday.

    • @Senior Engineer if this was HH you would have been saying all sorts of things like HH is winning but becoz its Lungu’s people you are saying otherwise. We heard this before and come tomorrow HH will lose to Lungu a newcomer.

      Viva EL Viva PF

    • @Bashi Profiti

By god you’re right! I usually look for misaligned objects, absent shadows and such..

      But yep, you’re absoluyely right

    • @ bashi profiting
Where there cameras in the 70s? Please Shikulu, katusheni together with HH.

ZAMBIA has a sixth President in the name of EDGAR Chagwa Lungu.

Thank you God for your faithfulness.

    • Sorry permalink, just say the pictures scare you and the power of PF appears too much a force to reckon with. These pictures are true. I was there. PF is still very a people party which should be underrated like UPND has been doing. Tomorrow will confirm who is the people’s choice and not the talking that has been going on.

    • I agree these pictures have been doctored. Zambians open your eyes. Lungu is not going anywhere. Listen to the voice of wisdom from HH. Vote wisely

  4. Impressive. CB, Northern, Luapula, Muchinga, Eastern and Lusaka will definitely go Edgar way. Central and North Western votes will go almost 50/ 50. Its just logic that Edgar has scooped this one. VIVA ECL, Ifintu NiLungu.

  5. I agree with mushota, that crowd scares me. If i were a member of UPND i would have reasons to lock myself in the house after voting.
If EL wins this, HH will not win the next one because EL will have the GRZ machinery to appease the electorate.
    May the best candidate win.

  6. Just attended Woodlands rally, it was MASSIVE! HH crowd in Woodlands can be compared to a crowd at a market watching a “nyau dance”. No wonder his cadres were frustrated and ended up smashing people cars. The only place hh will win is Southern, even Western will vote Lungu. In 3 years, PF has done plausible work. ECL, The sixth President of the Republic of Zambia.

  7. @Bashi Proffti. Imwe muli fyonse kusangamo ubwafya; muma lorry pa border ati rigging , abantu ubwingi ku rally ku Ndola, ati iyoo, ndi wamu 1971; kanshi caaba shani ba maani imwee?

  8. HH has been entertaining lap top pushers who have massaged his ego with fake polls while Lungu has been reaching out to the people. In his schizophrenic mind set, he has won while in the real world ECL reigns. Edgar Lungu Chabe, Kwamana!PABWATOOO!

  9. Big crowds but filled with curiosity. KK had similar crowds in 1990 but votes went to MMD. Chill up, tomorrow is polling day and we shall see whether those crowds were genuine.

  10. I agree with Up-N-Down these pipo were transported from different parts of Zambia; some came from Mansa, Munchinga, RB from Chipata, GS & Sampa from lsk, Inonge from Mongu etc etc…It is like Up-N-Down have explanations for everythings..

Lets wait for Up-N-Down explanation when HH loses the election.

  11. There is absolutly nothing special about HH thank God he has been stopped from being president. why was he suspended from UNZA? why his record is bad when selling our companies? why does he hate Bembas? what experience does he have especialy that this is his first position in politics? How do we change a performing govt?

  12. In God’s mercy and Love HH wins tomorrow no matter how you do your propaganda. Zambia has made a decision, and RB with HH will cry tomorrow.

  13. God help us not to allow this tribal party to rule other wise the country will b in misery give the time to cool down thats wen they will ascend to power bt not now

  14. This is it the final countdown…TEAM EL HAVE DONE THE GROUND WORK both in the PHYSICAL WORLD and IN CYBERSPACE we thank you all…GREAT CROWD…

BA ZAMBIA WE LOVE YOU…same thing next year 2016…

    ALUTA CONTINUA …

TO UPND, SORRY GUYS BUT WHATEVER NONSENSE YOU CHAPS SAY DOESNT MATTER..TEAM EL ARE ON ANOTHER LEVEL WHICH HH WILL NEVER ATTAIN..

****VIVA EDGAR LUNGU 2015 AND 2016****

  15. Tiye EL the 6th President of Zambia. It is sealed now HH-UPND have lost this election.

Peace and Prosperity to Mother Zambia.

  16. TRIBAL HH would need a miracle to win tomorrow’s election.Edgar Lungu is by far the favourite!!!what i saw at his final rally at woodland’s stadium is very amazing!!FOR SURE MASS ZAMBIANS LOVED SATA AND HIS PF!!EDGAR LUNGU IS ON A VERY POPULAR PARTY!!!PF WILL EASILY WIN THIS ELECTION!!!GO PF GO!!!

  17. Please don’t vote for someone who claimed that Sampa had murdered a young college girl, and yet never did anything about it, lest her blood come to hound the nation.
May God almighty deal severely with the person who was in power, had authority and could have brought the killers of Ruth M to book, and may they not have joy and happiness in Zambia.
    Flight HH.

    • Easy UPND guys. Now you showing more panicking. We as PF have been very composed to the last moment. When you have become tired of your premature celebrations, we begin our genuine celebrations on Wednesday. Please no more insults. We have had enough already.

  18. OK Ladies & Gentlemen – Enough excitement for now. No one can influence the vote anymore. All campaigning should be finished now, so I don’t see why you are all still going at each other’s throats when its not what you say that counts.

Chillax ! It’s not long now and the secret will unfold.

I am off to hack into some computers and see what they are getting up to 😉

  19. Its all over for this under 5 politician who calls himself HH! The upnd camp should now prepare for a landslide loss because we shall definately “Speak Loudly” tomorrow and show this under five politician that he is not saleable! By 22 30 tomorrow, Lungu will be leading by a wide margin! Iam betting my Precious Manhood!

  20. This is my last blogging this evening/day ladies and gentlemen. You will hear from me tomorrow when results begin to pour in. Throughout my blogging, I have supported HH and his campaign team wishing he could be the next president. However, I should admit HH is not likely going to win. Vodka Chagwa Lungu has in the past two weeks pulled a surprise – reversing the gains of HH especially in Lusaka and Copperbelt. Vodga’s support has been surging, hence it will only be right that he is going to win. In addition, most of the people that voted for PF will vote for Lungu and make him win.
I will therefore breakdown Lungu’s advantage:
    (1) Bembas and Easterners are not going to vote for HH. In particular, northerners are wary of UPND rule. There is increased fear that UPND in government…

  21. Battle well fought President Lungu, with Integrity and without paying homage to the Golden Calf of Money!

Time to rest now until Wednesday. Trust only in Him. God Almighty who makes all things possible.

    God Bless.

    • Ba Patriot Abroad God Bless you too..you and other great pro PF commentators have been supporting Edgar C. Lungu right from the WORD GO even before the convention…If we were to use a pair of scales to weigh the genuinely good people by way of the comments they make on this site I must say PF bloggers are by far the most logical and outweigh the bitter, desperate and insulting pro UPND. PF bloggers very rarely use insulting remarks, PF bloggers only respond fire with fire when they or the leaders they respect and care for (as was the case with OUR FATHER THE LATE HIS EXCELLENCY MICHAEL CHILUFYA SATA) are insulted for no reason by deluded and self centred UPND supporters.

Well, to you Patriot Abroad and others we say THANK YOU for keeping the fire burning!!!!

      VIVA TEAM EL

    • Political truth @27. Forget about the mandevu pics. What is now important is voting 2moro. Iam sure your MUVI TV darling have the pics you want or you can ZWD.

  22. @Kings you have made my Evening!

“In God’s mercy and Love HH wins tomorrow no matter how you do your propaganda. Zambia has made a decision, and RB with HH will cry tomorrow.”

Kikiki Even your Mind and Hands cant coordinate because the mind is aware of the truth.
UPND supporters take a rest as we prepare Hospitals, Clinics and Mobile Hospitals to be available for those in Shock and Collapsing.
Game Over Check Mate Flight HH is being grounded as Zambians have decided tomorrow.

  23. Yes HH has said we prepare for a New beginning for real since UPND can’t allow him to go loosing like this as if it is his personal to holder Party. Ni party yanina mu pisheni uyo munyamata after Wednesday.

  24. Uluse ine! I salute you the Bembas and Easterners: a number of you supported HH; that is what is normal. You can meet a hundred of friends from the South, not even one supports EL. This is absolutely abnormal!

  25. Keep on troubling yourself,

HH is the 6th President of Zambia come what may.

Edgar Muhammad Lungu is losing the battle.

    • Kanshi even pa LT ba Jane ‘Belinda Nafwa’ Mulenga mulaletapo amanyami yenu. 4 hours to go! My mind set, I will be the first to vote at this polling station with a funny name.
      Its EL mpakafye!!!!

  26. CLEAR photoshopped pictures, only a F00l would accept these pictures as genuine. Look at the difference from the people in front and those behind, the “swelling” crowd is not PROPOTIONAL. Open your eyes Zambians, you are too cleaver for this.

  27. -This is ten percent luck, twenty percent skill
-Fifteen percent concentrated power of will
-Five percent pleasure, fifty percent pain

And a hundred percent reason to remember the name!

hh *EL today you have my Vote!

  28. Ba LT, anyone who has done a bit of ‘perspective ‘ and ‘vanishing point’ in pictures and drawings, can tell these photos showing a sea of people have been manipulated. In short, a normal picture shot once by one camera would show one rate of change of perspective from foreground to background. Some of these pictures show more than one rate of change of perspective.
So the question is: – whats the point ba LT?

  29. I wonder why bloggers on Lusaka Times like cheating that they are within Zambia and yet most of them are even outside and will not vote. This site always shows the flag of one’s location.

  30. We know PF did not get all these people from Ndola. They came from all over the copperbelt and Lusaka. Today we will teach you a lesson. People have made of their mind to reject PF lies.

  31. you see how confused you are, yu can’t even yo sentence properly. Yu know its a lie people won’t reject pf but upnd
