  1. Feeling sad that I cudn’t participate towards electing a suitable candidate but thanks for those Zambians who braved the rains.

Thank you for the peace so far.

    Viva Zambia.

    • @pretty. So we are still on right? You are for HH and am for EL. Whoever wins, I hope we will be respectful to each other when we comment after the results are announced. Wishing you luck with your candidate and may the good lord bless our mother land.

    • @Pretty my dear we have come a long way but finally the day has come, however don’t feel sad cheer up Edgar is winning this time, you can come thru in 2016 and vote for HH.

Chipata means business I guess – so those are Edgar’s votes.? Nice work Andie…

      Viva EL Viva PF

    • So you were just making noise! Hehehe! I knew it that most Up n Down chaps who were yapping online were not voting. And when your candidate loses you start SHOUTING, RIGGING! God have mercy on you

    • @Lloyd Banks,

Thot you had bolted. We are still on. Sitting patiently waiting.

      @Big L,

Don’t get too excited my friend. Long queues in Chipata shudn’t begetting you excited.

    • I am Sad that Lungu has rigged the elections and he may win an elections which has not been conducted in a free and fair manner.

How can some places not have ballot papers by 10 am? It seems this has just happened in areas where PF thought the majority would vote for HH.

Any way not all hope is lost as many on the ground were shouting PF but deep down were going to vote HH because they had enough of BULL????? from PF.

PF wins it will face a tough time going up to 2016 general elections.
People will expect change immediately as the PF is continuing in power. There will be no excuse at all.

But if HH wins, people will give HH grace period to sort out things first before he begins to delive

  2. WHO EVER WILL CARRY THE DAY HE / SHE IS IN TROUBLE ALL GOVERNMENT COFFERS ARE EMPT, MY DEAR NO CELEBRATION YOU NEED TO WORK HARD , AND DELIVER ZAMBIA FROM POVERTY.

  3. You mean to tell me that there was no money to even pain the rooms where the voting is taking place? And Zambians still want to vote for PF? Why has ZAF denied UPND choppers to fly?

    • ZAF has no overall jurisdiction of Zambian Airspace except where Military aircraft are concerned, Civil Aviation Authority(or whatever its called nowadays) has overall juridiction, & if it has given the clearances & not revoked them, UPND can fly!

    • My brother,

This is NOT required. Let us wait for ECZ results. Our friends in PF also want their candidate to win. Let’s not inflame passions.

      Cherish peace……

  4. Polling is over. Exit polls in focus: HH sweeps Chawama, Munali, Mandevu and Lusaka Central with a convincing margin. Lungu narrowly leads in Kabwata and Chilanga.

  5. I feel pity for the incoming president already some civil servants have had some 600-800 cut from their salaries others no salary at all
The coffers are empty EL or HH I wish you God’s grace

  6. I AM SUPRIZED TO SE THAT OUT ALL PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES CASTING THEIR VOTES, IT IS ONLY HH WHO IS NOT WITH THE WIFE WHY? CAN SOMEONE TELL ME IF THIS MAN REALLY HAS A WIFE FOR THE PUBLIC TO SEE OR SHE IS JUST A BEDROOM WIFE MARRIED TO A BEDROOM BULLY?

  7. The fact is Edgar Lungu will be number 1 in Lusaka,Eastern,Copperbelt,Luapula,Northern,Muchinga and maybe in Central while HH shall be number 1 in southern,Western,N/Western and maybe in Central.NOTHING IS LIKELY TO CHANGE THIS VOTING PARTTERN. SO THE CLEAR FAVOURITE IS EDGAR LUNGU IN THIS ELECTION!!!!SO NOW WE WAIT FOR RESULTS!!!

  8. God bless Zambia! Peaceful elections, mature people! I don’t understand why children should start too cry even so early!

  9. PLEASE STOP PREACHING HATRED MESSAGE , WHOEVER WIN WILL BE OUR PRESIDENT BUT HE / SHE MUST WORK HARD BECAUSE GOVERNMENT COFFERS ARE EMPT.THINK OF HIGH POVERTY WHICH IS IN ZAMBIA , WHY SHOULD SOME CELEBRATE TO GO TO STATE HOUSE ? FOR ME ITS MORE PROBLEMS AND PRESSURE, ITS A HOT CHAIR MY DEAR.

  10. Ba LT we need a platform to monitor results as they start coming in.

What are your plans on this issue. So far I do not know of any credible and upto date platform.

  11. Nakatindi polling station, Edgar has taken a lead followed by HH.

voter apathy is blamed for this poor result.

  12. iwe chi Mabisi stop misleading people. You are in Canada and where are you getting those numbers? ***** just like your name suggest.

    • But iwee zoona when were you born kashi honestly!!!! these women are Zambian of Asian origin, born and bred in Zambia and entitled to vote.

  13. Enka, stop your bush product behaviour, your flag indicates USA, as long as you live in the for agreed time to take part in voting it does not require your religion , faith or where you hail from . Possibly you are one of these people in USA without papers. As Christian I believe Moslems have the same rights like any Zambian under our constitution the supreme law of the land. Get yourself sorted and stop this clued bantustan culture.
