Chilufya has been handed a one-year deal by the Ndola based outfit.

The former Zambia international is being assisted by Willie Nkonde and Simonda Kaunda.

Forest chairman Richard Kalasa said Chilufya should transform the club into a force to reckon with in the top flight league.

“We told him that we want to remain in the Super League,” Kalasa said.

“On the log we want to finsh at least in the top four,” he added.

Forest have just bounced back to the Super League after a one year hiatus.

Meanwhile, Chilufya joins Forest four months after being fired as assistant coach at Mozambique club HCB Songo together with his former boss Wedson Nyirenda.
