Suspected Patriotic Front (PF) cadres on Saturday night threw stones at the house of former Chipata Central Member of Parliament (MP) Lameck Mangani in Chipata.Mr Mangani had
endorsed the candidature of United Party for National Development (UPND) leader Hakainde Hichilema said.
Upon hearing that Mr Lungu had won the January 20th 2015 presidential election, cadres took advantage of the situation and went to Mr Mangani’s residence where they disturbed peace at night by throwing stones at the roof of the house and the main gate.
Mr Mangani confirmed the development yesterday.The former home affairs minister said it was sad that some people took advantage of the celebratory mood by throwing stones at his house.
Meanwhile a PF cadre’s celebration was cut short on Saturday night when he fell off from a bonnet of a moving vehicle.The man who sustained head injuries was rushed to Chipata General Hospital where he had been admitted.He is in a stable condition.
This is mockery of the law, why is this allowed?

Voting ended exactly a week today, the president, your desired candidate was sworn in on Sunday.
One would expect that the losing candidate and those that supported him would be causing anarchy, instead it is those that were victorious who are still not satisfied.
It is not enough to humiliate your opponents publicly in full view of the entire world, No you need to physically maim them and their innocent families too. To what end? Where is the leadership when the nation needs it the most?

The behavior that was displayed when PF won should not be allowed. It was a show of lawlessness. On Great East Road drunk cadres hunting out of moving vehicles swigging from beers bottles. Erratic driving by vehicles bearing PF emblems. Yes it is exciting but the law should be observed otherwise the public is at risk.
Such behavior should be condemned! Zambian police stand up and be counted!

Mangani could have another enemies who could have chosen to take advantage of the situation knowing very well that going by the mood, suspicion will be poured on PF cadres!! So where is the tribe in there?So which tribe stoned which one? If you get too obsessed with this tribe issue you will loose objectivity and blame everything on tribe even your own personal failures in simple things such as reasoning and sensible judgement.
