Sate Sate bemoans Egyptian league suspension

Share

Zambia and Wadi Degla striker Ronald Kampamba is concerned over the recent indefinite suspension of the Egyptian Premier League.

Authorities suspended the Egyptian league on 9th February after 22 fans were killed in clashes with Police during a match between Zamalek and ENNPI in Cairo.

Kampamba, who joined Degla earlier this month from Nkana, said he is looking forward to the resumption of the league.

Sate Sate has so far played just one game for Degla that came three days after his arrival in Cairo.

“The suspension of the league is very challenging. This is a big challenge for me,” he said from Egypt on Wednesday.

However, Kampamba said he was slowly settling down in Egypt.

“So far my stay has been fine, I just want to work hard and score goals for my team,” added the 2014 Zambia player of the year.

Kampamba moved to Degla on a two-and-half year contract.

  1. Why did Nkana sell Sate Sate to an Egyptian team when they know very well of the challenges that country is facing.Sate should have gone to a country where his game time was guaranteed for him to improve as it is the situation is not helping him

  2. And some moron was commending Nkana for handling his transfer professionally. They were just interested in money. Sate sate, don’t you know how to read or you had no TV in Kitwe to know that Egypt is not a stable country? You will be the loser in this transaction.

  3. We told you and we were called being negative….this boy is property of the Egyptian club so he will have to sit it out and waste his career.

    • It is sad that where ever a Zambian os taken there are problems. Its time we learnt to confine these players to our clubs and sell them to big league teams not fellow African teams

  4. The bottom line is “the Zambian 2014 footballer of the year is ok”, why passing the negatives on the young man?
SATE, all kalampa fans will really miss him & only wishing him the GOD’s FAVOUR.
