Nkana crushed demoted Roan United 4-0 in a pre-season friendly on Thursday in Luanshya.
The two sides skipped the usual pre-season formalities of playing A and B games after opting for a one-off warm up match at Kafubu Stadium.
Goals from Maybin Chishimba, new boy’s Austin Muwowo and Djunes Kanda handed Nkana their win against Fordson Kabole’s side.
Muwowo, who is on loan from demoted Konkola Mine Police, scored the first goal in the opening minute, Chishimba added the second after the halftime mark to give Nkana 2-0 lead into the break.
Nkana scored two more goals within the opening four minutes of the second half when Muwowo completed his brace while fellow new boy and DR Congo-born striker Kanda added the other goal.
Kanda joined Nkana this season on a permanent deal from demoted Indeni.
Meanwhile, Nkana host Kalulushi Modern Stars in their next pre-season friendly this Sunday at Nkana Stadium in Kitwe.
