Front Secretary General Davis Chama has allayed fears that President Edgar Lungu’s illness might impact negatively on the ruling party’s performance in the forthcoming Parliamentary by-elections.
In an interview with Qfm News Mr. Chama was confident that the Patriotic Front will conduct successful campaigns to win by-elections despite President Lungu’s medical condition.
Mr. Chama said that the developmental projects the country has witnessed in the three years is what will be campaigning for the ruling party.He has cited construction of shopping malls and roads in Constituencies such as Chawama as some of developmental projects that place the PF in a better position to convince electorates to vote for the ruling party.
President Lungu has been diagnosed with a suspected recurrence of Achalasia.

You’re just making yourself feel better but off coarse with your insinuations, the campaigns surely will be affected by lack of Lungu’s fitness. Pray hard that he reaches 2016, otherwise in August this year’s by elections, PF is finally being discarded.

Look now Lungu, even that Chama is saying you are not important to the party. Atleast Kabimba used to position himself better in cabinet, not from the party. But this Chama is one telling people about development projects.

Its a pity that majority poor Zambians are going through this mediocre & visionless leadership. The $ is gaining whilst the Zambian Kwacha, or Kwafipa is losing value b’coz PF is democratically visionless.

THIS IS A VERY BIG STATEMENT
Mr Chama is very right because the president of the party who is also our Republican president has already put every thing in order for the campaigns to go smoothly.
He should have said with Lungus’ presence and involvement in the campaigns, the party was headed for a massive landslide but with his absence, the party will still manage to win though not as with an assured margin as when he was around. He should also have said that the work that Lungu left in Chawama is enough campaign material for all to see. Only after then would he have brought in the mumble jumble about the PF projects country-wide. Is there no trace of political intelligence anymore?
