ZAMBIA Under-23 national soccer team striker Felix Sunzu Jr retuned home on Sunday after being marooned in Tunisia for a week following a dispute with his agent.
Konkola Blades chairman David Mubita confirmed in an interview yesterday that Sunzu arrived at 20:00 hours after unsuccessful trials at First Division side, Avenir Sportif De La Marsa.
“I will be briefed by the player (Felix) when he comes back from Under-23 duties,†he said.
Sunzu is scheduled to join the Under-23 national team camping.
Sunzu’s Ivorian agent Mamadou Thiam is alleged to have withheld the player’s passport following a breakdown of talks between Avenir Sportif De La Marsa and Sunzu’s club Blades.
Mubita, however, could not give details, saying he had not yet been briefed.

We must be careful with these ‘tuntemba’ agents. This is a serious issue, FAZ and boma should investigate to avoid similar incidents to our future talent.
