Castro Chiluba enters the political arena

Share

Former Republican President Fredrick Chiluba’s son Castro has announced his entry into the political arena.

Castro Chiluba is now deputy national secretary of the New Revolution Party (NRP) led by Dr. Cosmo Mumba.

Castro was introduced as deputy national secretary of the NRP during a press briefing by the NRP in Lusaka today.

Castro, who accepted his new appointment, pledged to serve the nation and address the many issues affecting youths in the country.

Castro has since apologized to Zambians for the wrong things he did while his father was in power.

He said he is a changed man and power would not corrupt him adding that people do change and should be forgiven and given chance to contribute to national development.

And NRP party president Dr. Cosmo Mumba said Castro has repented and is a Born Again Christian.

Dr. Mumba said Zambians should forgive and forget the misdeeds of Castro and give him chance to contribute positively to Zambia’s growing democracy.

He said the past image of Castro should be done away with as Castro has truly changed for the better.

Castro had previously used the status of his father, Dr. Chiluba, to misbehave and mistreat people.

  1. who has given you a mandate to contribute to the national development. let the people decide your fate because you have already riped what you sown.

  2. Good move Castro, I’m sure with your old man’s support, resources and contacts, you will go far. You were a kid when you were messing around so you are forgiven.

Finish off the some of the good work that your old man started.

    All the best.

  3. I know Cosmas Mumba. His Doctorate is fake. He got it in the DRC after failing at UCZ theological College in Kitwe. Castro, you would better without Mumba. He is a cheat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. …. anyway parliament has most MPs’ calibre same as that of Castro thats why he(castro) feels he can contribute effectively or even do better. We are in reverse in some areas, trust me.

  5. i agree with fondoka, we are definately in reverse in some areas, honestly why should we entertain castro he’s not worth our time lets move on to productive areas

  6. WOW! Zambian Politics are now turning into a giant circus. Whats wrong with Cosmo? Castro is one useless Zambian to say the least, now he is deputy national Secretary of a Political party? C’mon!

  7. iv been out for so long..but can someone tell me whats happening in zambia.Castro!?for heaven sake please stay away…what u did was bad enough for u to start fooling the zambian people again..if i was the one to give judgement on judgement day,i would still send u to hEll so as to face the wrath for yo deeds.u can be a changed man but we say fwe ba bemba ati “uwakalema takaleka”..so please dont even try..cos i know u will just bring confusion in the nation knowing your shallow mind.

  8. Good for Castro but i think that Dr.Mumba is using the Chiluba name for political hope which he can’t see at the moment. Castro shuld join MMD,PF,UNIP,UPND and prove to the world hat he is a changed man.I know people do change just think of the Aposle Paul or Alma the younger in the Book of Mormon.

  9. “imputi iisula taibula kubwekeshapo”, Castro had shown us who he is in TEN SOLID years! he can’t be a jocker as he is trying to be. who will be foolish enough to give Cstro a chance in leading even a village in Zambia? nakabili akabwekeshapo uyu uwaice!

    please Castro, stop jocking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  10. Cosmo Mumba (27 years) got his PHD within Two months from CONGO DR. Immediately he came back from Congo in 2006 he joined the New Generation Party as its Spokesperson but was within a short period expelled. He had at one time claimed Dr. Nevers Mumba was his uncle but Dr Mumba denied knowning Cosmo as a relation. In 2006 he held a one week workshop on HIV/AIDS with finincial support from Edgar Ngoma (Agoni) were he confeered participants with Diplomas while Edgar Ngoma the Sponsor of the workshop was Confeered with a PHD based on a non academic paper he presented at the workshop. Edgar is now being refeered as Dr Ngoma in Zambia without questioning how he became a Doctor within five days .

  11. Cosmo and Castro are big jokers of the year whop are simply political thumb suckers. There are a lot of cheats in Zambia calling themselves Doctors, but they have never written a single semester paper. PhD is only awarded after serious dissertation research work and defense. Cosmo and all you PhD cheats (especially amongst the clergy) stop day dreaming.

  12. Mwe mfumu Chitimukulu, mwakoma mulibwe!! “imputi iisula taibula kubwekeshapo”, Castro and that blarrie Cosmos, stop fooling yourselves. Whoever declaired that your are Born-Agains will go to hell with you. And stop blasphemy, because “Lesa ni malyotola!!” Anyway thanks for making use pissed-off and laugh.

  13. Cosmo and Castro bapena fye. Pa Z we need politicians who are concerned about issues – job creation, health, education, housing etc. Most, if not all, politicians pa Z are in politics for economic survival not to serve the masses. Shemuna shame

  14. Castro-mwana-Chiluba, politics are for educated and traditional leaders, and you ka kaponya woke up nebange come to tell us you want to save people?? “ichilinganya mapul..chila ponwesha!”

  15. #19 Wibilima

Politics is not for the educated and traditional leaders alone, it is the right of every Zambian to take part in the management of their country. I fully support Castro’s move. He is known up and down the country from Roma to Kanyama, Mongu to Kasama, Livingstone to Ndola, Mkushi to Mwinilunga, Mumbwa to Isoka etc Love him or hate him but he is named after a politician and his father was President of Zambia for 10 years, he can only do or be one thing, a Politician!

  16. The next move for Castro is to take part in one of the by -elections on his party’s ticket, become an MP, get a salary and start doing some work for the people that will elect him. After a few years, with clear unquestionable achievements to show, run for President and before we know it, we will have another Chiluba back at plot 1!! Meanwhile armchair critics will be on blogs fruitlessly venting their frustrations at his achievements.

    Don’t hate, Participate!!

  17. they say people change when they get of jail, but this aint change, its some absurd idea – castro chiluba being a LEADER!!? where when how what whom. Where is our country heading. and dont we have enough liars and hypocrites already in government? Lord what did we do to deserve this sh*t?
who told him(castro) that the zambian youths need him.
What is new about the so called party(NRP). or maybe they found other ways of lying to the zambian people.
    ba castro, kala leni fye.

  18. It alright for Castro to get involved in Zambian politics, People should remember that it is almost over ten years ago Castro committed any offence now He is not the same person. With or without being born again Castro was bound to Change with time like ny other person growing up. Remember Castro was a teenager when his father become President.

But am sure he does not know the Characters he has joined very well.

Fake PHD holders like Edgar Ngoma (Angoni) and Cosmo mumba want to attract media attention based on Castros Chuluba’s name.

  19. And these are youths, why don’t people take things seriously bane lets us even not waste time on this stupid good for nothing fool who did not utilise his chances at the time, look at Kaunda’s children, anyway fish starts rotting from the head, what does it say about the father.

  20. ubupuba buli pa advanced level mu zambia. Its because sensible people spend their time talking and acting less while fools are busy taking the floor.

  21. Well, it just goes to show how low one becomes when you enter politics. You know, a person like Castro might end up being an MP. Why? Because the Zambian masses are not informed or should say are less educated when it comes to decmocracy. There surely must be a way of informing the masses that Mr reformed Castro is not fit to be a politician. If he is reformed, he should go back to school and learn, with luck he might pick up reading and writing which would help him in educating Zambians.
    Salutare aomeni bun,
    Larevedera
    Si eu sint zambian

  22. Okay most of u are full of comments in the first place all ya’ are outside the country u failed to make developments in zambia u want to have MacDonalds every de, Here is a guy with all his wrongs he want to make a difference all u can do is shoot!! him pls get real come back from UK/USA overseas and make ur party. Bonse muli ba mano but i dont see u doing anything for Zambia let alone u dont help ur friends there abroad u just like Hating and talking crap. Make contributions Guys wakeup… ur all second class citizens were ur are…

  23. #28 you are write, let reformed castro go back to school then think of becoming a politician. What can castro do to the nation when he does not even know what he can do for himself let alone his to be family. Please be fooled by whoever Dr. …… appointment.

  24. Everytime i hear a known crook calling themself born again my heart always misses a beat. This is because when someone declares themselves righteous then they have gone from being an average chimbwi to an advanced chimbwi with an even bigger appetite. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree and the sweetness of power is hard to let go off. Surely castro only wants the spoils that he was used to when his father was the chief plunderer and he will do anything to get back into office. If he is such a born again person who is good why not devote his time to spreading the true word of YHWH at his own expense.

  26. no.29 youve just insulted me, do you realize that its becoz of castros father corrupt govt that we zedian stopped receiveung full scholraships from USA, UK and other western countries becoz of his corrupt govt. so what the f**k are u trying to tell us.

  27. [29] Zambians-living-abroad hater; check your facts about diaspora Zambians’ contribution to national development: remittances, investment in real estate {read today’s dailies about comments from Meanwood}, etc. McDonalds is junk food man, surely you cannot have that as a standard of good living? Forming a political party does not necessarily constitute contribution to national development. Anyway, have a nice day, hater

  28. whay is it that in zambia most people who have just a paper on theology within a short period of time want o enter politics, i think we should revisit the bible and read it one more time becoz jesus says give caesers things to caeser and Gods things to God, so arev thise so called pastors , dr.s or whatever they call themselves in for the wod og God or just for political benefit so that they can start having pot bellys as soon as there elected into leadership positions

  29. [29] Zambians living abroad contribute in more tangible ways than just talking blah, blah, blah. When you have a funeral, who do you call to sort out your bills? when your son whom you cannot afford to educate qualifies to UNZA, dont you place along distance call to your relative abroad? who sends you good quality clothes? …

  30. Another of Zambia’s countless circus. My heart bleeds for mother Zambia. Zambia deserves more respect than it is getting right now.

  31. #29 You are just another petty chap who has not come to the grips with globalisation. Wake and develop your self. Being in diaspora is an individual choice and not decided upon by Zambian as a collection.

  32. Most learned people would shun politics because they are like gambling .Any time your status may change ,Hired and fired no appeal in most cases ,you cant plan your future like this.

  33. Unless the bill of rights have since been re writtten, Castro still enjoys his freedom of association. As for you #29, Bastard!

  34. icipuba bacimwena okochilefuma napatali thgat clearly entails that castro is not fit at all to be a leader for one thing is that the youngman has been a total nonsense to the zambian society and zambian are in no time to 4give such a man except God himself and whay should he apologize infront of the media just to make news that youngster should personally apologive to individuals and families he offended and the rest is for God to juge as the bible says ‘what you do in secrecry will be brought to light’

  35. castro has never seen or understand what poverty means and what it means to sleep without a meal for some days like most families face nowadyas even in his fathers admin. because he has never bee in suhc a situation before so how can he represent youths who face alot of problems uch as unemployment and poverty not mentioning the lack of paying for educational fees is he ready to address such probles.

  36. LT Admin: can we please have worthy news. This crap (sorry article) falls into the same category as those of poverty striken chiefs campaignig for Muareen to stand for presidency.

  37. i just have one question to all those that love prosperity.let us find out who sent this guy called castro and then we will be able to judge him correctly coz in his normal mind ,this guy would not wake up with this idea that he dosent even understand himself.
lets help this young man to show the good before he says he has repented.

  38. #46

Why do you think Castro has joined Politics in the first place? When was the last time you saw him? Castro is not the castro we all knew whn his dad was president, currently he can’t even afford a cab fare from Kalundu to town center, unless he asks from his mum. He is broke like hell. Now, he has no education, meaning that he can’t get a job, so like many other failures, he turns to politics because in Zambia, even fools like many in the current adimistration can be leaders and earn a living. After the lavish lifestyle he enjoyed a little over a decade ago, Castro has experienced the worst pangs of poverty than many who are born poor. Last time, he even faid to pay K1m medical fee.

  39. # Yumi your contribution is to say the least useless.Ypu seem to hate zambians leaving abroad. My friend we are not second class citizens here.Infact we are more respected professional wise than being in zambia. The money that i get paid per month is equal to two years salary i used to get when in zambia. For your own info some of us have even bought a lot of houses in lusaka’s plush areas.so continue hating zambians abroad at your own expense.

  40. # 29 Yumi your contribution is to say the least useless.Ypu seem to hate zambians leaving abroad.

  41. Castro is no different from the other clowns that we already have in power? He is the millenium version of the webby chipili(other PF Mps) and the other political appointees. Like i have indicated before, ” that is the problem with democracy even fools are allowed to participate.” 2011 will be an interesting election year as it will mark the end of MMD. my prayer is that we elect credible people that have the interest at heart to improve the welfare of the people. if castro’s move is indeed to serve the people of zambia, then bless his soul.

  42. As someone who spent 5 years sweating blood to get his PhD, I feel somewhat hard done by if Mumba got his PhD in 5 days!!!

  43. I propose that anyone calling himself “Dr” in Zed (excludimg medical doctors) should make his/her thesis available for public scrutiny because guys twafula sana fye ma “Drs”. Dr Chiluba, Dr Mwanawasa,….nefipuba fyonse.

  44. Zambian politics is not about service, but a get rich scheme? very few if none venture into it for the purpose of bringing about the desired change. we still have a long way as it would take selfless and noble individuals to change things. no matter how much debt relief we recieve …things will never change? our parliament will continue to allocate themselves hefty allowances and yet we the voters simply watch and allow it to happen. continue voting ..make some loser rich.

  45. We even have Dr Ngoma from Agoni clearing..remember? we even have a doctor from kenya who has been permorming miracles with his massage therapy and good milile. Zambia the beautiful…God Lord help us?

  46. yumi(#29) I’m a Zambian right here in Zed but I didn’t like your comment. You sound like a bitter person, like one who tried to go abroad then failed. Honestly do you expect people to easily accept castro as a national leader? The biggest problem for him is not just what he did but what those deeds say about his thinking process. Can such a person realy be a leader? Not voting for him does not express unforgiveness but a huge doubt concerning his ability and motive. He could be in it just for money and nothing else. Can u risk having him as a leader?

  47. Let the youngman do something right for once. At least he’s man enough to enter the political arean. most zambian’s simply talk and yet do not engage into action. The zambian political area is open to anybody? i support his move, but i would not vote for him? moreover i have never voted for any fortune seeker? none of the leaders we have has the substance that i look for? zambia is full of bakaponya..castro would win a parliamentary seat…trust me?

  48. Yes #61, let the young man do something right for once. But I still believe the risk of putting a guy like him in such a position is too great. We are not sayng Castro should be banned from politics. What we ae saying is that voters beware. It is also a wrong notion to say those of us who are not inro politics are not contibuting to development. Politicians alone without us, our money, businesses and services can’t develop Zed. We shouldn’t vote anyone in without scrutiny simply becoz he’s carougious enough to join politics. We are to vote in the best candidate not just anybody who stands for election.

  49. Let us give the young man a chance maybe he a changed man, if anything chiluba in himself was not a bad leader but it is the system and the people arround him who made him into what he became.
there are no checks and balances in our zambian constitution which can make anyone stand up to the president, that is why we need to change this and get some of the powers away from the president, even me i can do the same thing if there no rules to control me coz in everyman there is that desire to be batter than others instict.

  50. Well done castro, when you become president make vera, your mother VP since she has experience in politics. And FJT can be advisor to state hse. Every zambian should aspire to be some thing. and pipo can repent.
We have exeprienced and talented pipo lagushing like richard sakala, Vj, and ex intelligence head who is loafing abroad. castro will recall them all

  51. It is good to know that there are Zambians who are open minded. The truth of the matter is that the political platform is wide open pa zed. For others it is much simpler because of family backgrounds like Castro umwaiche. Even Patrick Mwanawasa jr and others will one day join, if the wish, the politcal arena based on their family names. If you think you can do a better job join in and be servants of the people of Zambia.

  52. Take it mwaice Castro! you will have no other chance in life, though I don’t know this chap called Dr. Mumba.

  53. Fred M’membe has been taken to morning side clinic for shock treatment after he received news that Castro had got into Politics. That is the reason why the post hasn’t published anything since friday. Could this be the end of Post?

  54. Castro my brother, you better get back to school and attain some qualifications.I don’t mean you going DRC to get a doctorate like Cosmo. It’s good to torun around but hey!wrong path mudala.

  55. This is how Castro’s campaign would go like:

Country for sale: Non-runner, 1964 model, flooded, needs serious attention and has no electricty currently. Three owners since first registration. Ready for occupation on or before 2011.
Interested? contact me Castro Chiluba, first come, first serve.
    No time wasters

  56. Don´t you ever use religion to hide your deeds, your actions will always speak louder than words.10 yrs isn´t that far for people to be brain washed as such cos you can be a Doc or a Nurse or let alone Phd……..but a day will come.Don´t have to prove yaself tp be born again to Zambians after all the damage.

  57. Zambians yu think you need a degree to be in politcs,aw shame on you guys very myopic, nyways castro needs to have passion for service to the nation, but knowing us we are awed by imbeciles and those are the ones you want to rule you.look at Liberia.Sierra-Leone etc these events are caused by men who are retards,a good farmer is judged by his output.

  58. Is it really politics has gone to the dogs or dogs have come into politics. Castro come on boy, are you still normal?? Ba Dr. Cosmo beniko serious please!!!!!!!!!!!

  59. “A good name is better than Riches”.
Ba Castro you see now that life can change. We ve not forgotten how you treated the zambian pipo wen yo father was no the throne.Well take yo chance but be warned it wont be easy for you and yo part name.

  60. Abantu baya! zambian politics is all about popularity? people do not search for quality in leadership? keep in mind politicians are not the ones that bring development? if you are still counting that…i wish you luck? Most individuals are in politics for the reward that is attached, and not development? countinue voting and make some loser’s dream come true? Remember most of the voters are illiterate? Castro can be elected as an MP in Zambia? All he needs is a bit of money and timing “of a crockdile…know when to strike”. Zambian politics is a get rich scheme? we need individuals like yourself to context that at least think about development? best of luck my friend…!

  61. number 73! at least some level of education is a requirement? a more skilled and knowledgable farmer will always have the job done in the most efficient way? come on now! what is the desired level of education for most entry level jobs? a college degree? your responses are decieving? now I understand that, “not all that glitters is Gold.” we can not continue having ba grade twelve in parliament? politics has levels, grade twelve and below ward chairman, branch level?

  62. My voice must be heard too! We need to to set up a system in our mother-land whereby people with qualifications are given what they are worth regardless of political affiliation, tribe or whatever. Some people are seen ascending through the ranks undeservably. It hurts to hear of a fake doctor like myself without a single paragraph of their works in an international journal. Lets be serious!

  63. vera is not educated but she is a minister.well as for castro i wonldn’t be suprised to hear that castro is minister.in zambia pipo pick anything that looks like a politician.willie nsanda is another politician you just hear during the time of election, and he wins.now i hear even mrs mwana levy is pushing for presidency.thats why castro is encouraged to start politics.

  64. I wish i joined the military coz Zambian politics don’t make sense no more. All these freaks need discipline! Damn it!

  65. First of all we must demolish Dr Coms Bweleka’s party then we can deal with Castro. Iwe Castro uli MUPUNSHA, ulinkulungwe ne cakukulya ca lyansha.Ba wiso balefwaika ukubanyonga intoyo, we left zambia because of you and your father. I have a question for you, BOI ba wiso UMUTWE ULYA taukalipa?

If you have really changed, my advise for you is that you live the country and start a new life somewhere where they don’t know you.
By the way what is your H.I.V status?

  66. Pipo ofu Sambia Iam tru to waht iam say that Iam nao changidi. Iam boni ageni christu and every sondo i go cheich. Pliz give me this chansi and you will see. Iam nao night skuul at kabulonga and mumba will send mi to univesiti of congo. Pliz give me chansi. Soli for beating you when faza was presido of sambia.

  67. Hmmmmm…….awe mweeeee ungaseke…..Castro concetrate on healing.Politics will rush u to the grave b4 the anticpated time

  68. Another good Zambian Joke I have to contend with. What will he do? Improve the quality of chibuku for his buddies … oh .. reduce the price of shake-shake.Whats this thing when pipo sleep in state house they feel they can govern? Ask Maureen for me … and Hillary.

  69. Castro, even your father claims he is born again, but look at his conduct and mismanagement he did to our economy. No one can believe you.you are better of with your private life.

You distroyed your foundation young man.

  70. I hope I am only dreaming! This must be the joke of the year. Castro a politician! My foot!! please give us Zambians a break! I end here!!

  71. You people online can type all you want about Castro but the people who will vote for him are the majority of poor people on the ground. Castro enjoys massive popularity, something that many politicians would want. It was an excellent strategy by Dr. Cosmo Mumba to bring in Castro to the party. The next move now is to have some MPs, the 2011 target is 20 minimum. Watch this Space.

  72. statagy yakwisa u failiers to be a leader you must at least have a decent history and not like castros look at his father he failed us the son is a carbon copy of him just because his father is not in power he is now born again, give him money and see the animal in him. i once witnessed one of his escapades we forgive but we are not too stupit to forget, your bedroom party mulebuta popularity based on myhem! go kumushi mukulima

  73. First of all, Castro’s father- “Dr” kafupi has criminal cases in courts of law pending his arrest. Is this a strategy that if at all he becomes President then he can bail his father out? Castro and his father must be arrested for all they ve done to the Zambians: corruption tactics promotion; unemployement; vanadalisim, eloping with other pipo’s wives etc. the moment castro becomes even MP i will personally stage a gorrilla war on the chiluba family

  74. he is lucy to evenbe alive it is an insult to nationals that have had hamble lives and lifestyles with good track records.he just better keep quiet chipuba nabalemtunka bonse

  75. democracy! some people should not even be allowed to talk nge filebosa castro na Dr fimofimo there is freedom of speech but not for everybody theives have no freedom of speech or when in jail there is no freedom of speech that boy should be in jail right now but for the stupid justice system mwachiluba goverment he can now proclaim being born again napyafye and takwete abanankwe

  76. In a normal democracy people with the record of Castro do not even aspire for any public office. But then again it is Zambia. Even Katele kalumba who was discovered one time hiding in the DRC want to the president of Zambia? Is Zambia now Kantemba? I remember at one time, Castro shot a girl and attempted to remove the bullet with a knife. Is that the guy who is running for public office?

  77. Joke of the century..! Perhaps we should’nt get too excited with this one considering this party is one of those that exist only on paper. Cosmo Mumba is equally a clown with a bogus “Phd”. The young man Castro is an imbecile who wasted 10yrs of opportunities to develop himself. Come to think of it, our former first family was a total mess starting with dad (the randy midget), mama “vela” (now Hon MP! & the late Archie’s sweet sugar mama) & the rest of the little imbeciles…surely what do you expect for the country when there was so much chaos in plot 1?

  78. I woke up this morning worry about claimate change………………..Now you have made my day even badder!!! Wawona manje wayamba kulila,. Castro your father was bad enough so stop being stupid! go and catch a joint!!!!

  79. Well! Well! What can on say….nothing really because to say anything is to give importance to a matter that is evidently not important. But I will say this about mother Zambia…I think though castro and his family have every right to stand for any position in Zambian politics I feel it is the right of the Zambian people to stop vile scum such as castro and all his family irrespective how they say they have changed, they are scum who belong to the gutter

  80. I’m afraid to say I don’t approve of the young man’s manouvres. It runs in the blood, all a bunch of crooks, thieves and murderers. You have no political experience young man.

You all come in the same way. Look how the mighty and faithful have fallen because of politics and money (I’m talking about people we once respected like Dan Pule and Nervous Mumba). They came in as straight Christians.
But just look at how they’ve been reduced to nothing by power and money.

Castro being incorruptible? that’s a first!

  81. You pipo ofu Sambia pliz sapot mi and fogiv mi. During mai 10yrs when dadi was presido I was a children and now iam big and changidi pesoni. You donti know that pipo can chengi.Pliz sapoti iam safaring i have no monies.

  82. Drama, but,If Castro has got something convincing to do to convince the Zedians, that he is a solid repentant, i will be glad to support him! As it is now, awe mwandini !!!

  83. #105,i dont think giving someone like castrol a chance will do us good.let him just concetrate on his church things and maybe become a pastor

  84. castro,#104,
dont take the pipo of zambia for granted.we have forgiven you but i dont think we can trust you with public funds if you couldnt convince anyone that you kud one day pay it back.when yo father was in power, did you at anytime visit the sick or community work?hey man politics is not yo thing.gangster life is wat i recommend

  85. awe castro, fishi fingile mumutima obe wemwana? you troubled pipo when your dada was in power and just cause you are now suffering you want to take advantage of the zambians, ah NO mu state house nakabili awe mwe lesa twafeniko twachula. just concentrate mufya kwa Lesa pliz dont weast your time coz i dont believe that they the zambian pipo will support you mwana forget and try some thing else.

  86. this is JOKE OF THE YEAR. castrol first build up yourself in the the fear of the Lord, character and ethics.

You had a very good chance but I guess you are getting abit stranded and thought of a quick come back.

Personally I have no problem with you sir.

  87. I thought Castro should have been in jail for some crimes he committed? Who is this Dr. Mumba? What is wrong with Zambia? Always getting fakes as real leaders? As far as I am concerned, all these fellows are jail-birds.

  88. Castro first go for VCT before you seek political life, we dont want sickly politicians bcoz they will be wasting our hard earned money travelling abroad for medicals like chuchu is doing now.

  89. I was looking for an African country to settle like Marcus Garvey once said and Zambia at one point looked very lucrative. The I took to the tabloids to have a feel of the economics/politics. I read about King Cobra,,,scared the shit out of me when people like him even get seats in paliament. I went to the Enviroment ministry, there was Vera as deputy…I couldn’t believe her idea of global warming. The I went to the MMD Secretariat where Tentamabullshit does not understand half the statement he makes. Looking at some your leaders, one cannot blame Castro for his political ambitions, there are politicians worse off than him. I just decided to go chill at thwith e vitoria falls’ boiling point content thinking other than the good weed, Zambia has simply gone to the dogs. Jah live.

  90. I was looking for an African country to settle in like Marcus Garvey once said and Zambia at one point looked very lucrative. Then I took to the tabloids to have a feel of the economics/politics. I read about King Cobra,,,scared the shit out of me when people like him even get seats in paliament. I went to the Enviroment ministry, there was Vera as deputy…I couldn’t believe her idea of global warming. Then I went to the MMD Secretariat where Tentamabullshit does not understand half the statement he makes. Looking at some your leaders, one cannot blame Castro for his political ambitions, there are politicians worse off than him. I just decided to go chill at the vitoria falls’ boiling point content thinking other than the good weed your indunas grow, Zambia has simply gone to the dogs……sorry to say. Jah live.

  94. fusakeni ba catro, kalaleni. zambia is the only country where a criminal record is a qualification for politics

  95. Boots speaks, “it is time for all the Zambians to open their eyes: enough is enough!!! Let us be realistic in choosing our leaders for tomorrow. To say one is repented does not necessary mean that he can be an honest, trustworthy to hold on to. Actually one should never tell another that he is a repented person. We need to see his conduct and his way of life. Castro, I am sorry for you because so far you never showed us how repented you are, rather you decided to tell us because you truly need our votes, then what? I can not vote for you even if I may enter the polling station in coma…just before being declared dead. I will still feel that you are not worth my vote.”

  96. Viva 57!!, they should tellus where they got their Phds, DR SOLOMON JERE is another fake DR who has cheated Dr. Mwanawasa and the nation at large. Do they know what it takes to be a DOCTOR??? Viva Medical DRS for REAL!!

  97. Whether Castro has repented or not is not really an issue, I know many “born again” people who are still corrupt. Zambians need to elect people who are QUALIFIED and willing to make a difference for our country and the people. 24 hour PhD’s do not count!!!

  98. Castro leave politics to politician .Iwe mwaice continue with your normal life.

If you wanted to be a politician you could have taken interest when you father was in power .

    Now forget.

  99. Castro, go ask for forgiveness personally from all the people you offended physically and mentally, then you forgive yourself, dont just say you’ve changed, when you’ve done all that then will the lord almight forgive you too…..right now am not judging you but i think you have a bone to chew with the victims (what does you bible say ….)

  100. WHO CARES ANYWAY…..I WILL MANAGE MY OWN GOVERNMENT IN MY OWN HOUSE AND WITH MY OWN MONEY. TO HELL WITH SELFISH AND GREEDY AFRICAN GOVERNMENT LEADERS.

  101. “LET HE WITHOUT SIN CAST THE FIRST STONE”. Everyone wants to judge Castro on what they read in the papers but how many of you actually personally know him? And how many are actually taking an active role in the National Development of Zambia like Castro is? He has the courage to do things most people wouldn’t like change his ways, seek forgiveness and try to help people. If people will not forgive and support someone who has been to hell and back yet is still trying to help people, I think they have bigger issues than Castro ever had or could have.

  102. evrything has it’s time ,and time to participate in national developmental programms a,lets forget about the past and forge ahead wuth the future,,, castro you are welcome to the political arena.

    cheers
    fraser

  103. castro must atleast be given a punishiment so that the next time he should something good for the people otherwise he can still change if given another chance.

  104. i think what my friend has wrote is somehow true, because nowadays people change.so think castro has changed for good.CASTRO NIZII!

  105. ALL THOSE PEOPLE INSULTING ARE CONFUSED AND NEEDS TO BE DELIVERED LET THEM COME BACK TO ZAMBIA AND FORM, THERE OWN POLITICAL PARTIES

  106. A crockdile is a crockdile, whether in water or on land.If you think, the crock is less lethal on land, try it and you will find out.Old habits die………..

  107. I think Castro is depending on the bemba vote?,only a fool would vote for him!.I saw that family spending our money in Luton and London like water never again.

  108. Stop misleading Zambia in the name of the Bible. Criminal yesterday…..to an aspiring and vibrant politician tommorrow!!! Castro into politics….what a big insult to the Zambian people. Castro needs to be tried for the crimes he committed when his dad was President. Please stop hiding in the name of God. God helps those that help themselves and God will help us as Zambians to expose all y’all that are using Gods name for personal glory. Since when did Chengelo School become a University? Because thats the only education Castro has…sorry I forgot it’s a chritian School!!!

  109. I concur to Chitimukulu Chitapakwa`s statement that”imputi iisula taibula kubwekeshapo”, so Castro should just look for something else to do other than fooling Zambians. How can we be fooled again when we have been fooled on so many occassions. We are fade up with your fake promises. Please Castro go back to the land if you have nothing to do in town

  110. In some countries Castrol will still be saving his sentence for the gun shots and rape cases he comitted against the youth of zambia but in my mother land he is now a star and politician.its so painfull to hear him talk like this its no wonder the relatives of mwanawasa wants maureen for president so they stay put in state house and government ministries.you products of univesities of zambia, where the hell are you ??even if we are peace full people,i for one think we are simply situpid lot.

  111. Young men, amongst you all, who can openly confess in front Our Holy Father, that he is perfect, and has never ever in his life, made a mistake? Let us leave the past a bit aside, and start afresh. Young Castrol, you are welcome to the game, BUT WE, ZAMBIANS, ARE NO LONGER SLEEPING, and so, WATCH YOUR STEPS.

  112. Zambia, Zambia, what has fallen of this country that we should be having jokes every day of our lives. So many parties are being formed, NGA MWAIKUTA AMABWALI AT you want to form a part. More over you go and get someone who misbehaved and claim is born again, okey he did that probably because his father was in power, It wasn’t him but he misbehaved, what will stop him from doing more bad things when himself will have power? Zambians lets think of tomorrow. Man we have forgiven you but honestly just sit back nga waikutisha namabwali.

  113. Castro has not changed he’s just broke in the 10 years his father was president he could have educated himself in any country of his choice but instead he decided to stay in Lusaka and act a fool.

  114. Ok, Zambians………The devil we know is better than the angel we do not know. Maybe the guy will even be better than Michael Sata, HH or RB. Please Cosmo and Castro, stop those jokes, they are not funny you know……………..

  115. We have youths pa Z.i dont think he can stand politics.he is very…far.he frist needs to grow up to gather with his boss Cosmo Mumba.they are far from the leaders we want pa Zambia. Those two should go to school.

  116. 139 Ba Cosma, what do you know? when u are busy inpregnanting other pipo girls? you realy have to grow up.

  117. Castro desiring to be MP? It only shows you how the question of leadership has been reduced in Zambia. But honestly speaking if you have Mulongoti and some of his likes then you honestly would think Castro qualifies for Zambian leadership. Can anyone honestly believe that Chitala was a minister? So you should understand why Castro believes he qualifies. It’s all because of the type of leaders we have had. Not everyone though.
Where ever there has been progress and success there has been quality leadership. Zambians are a proud and strong people. All they need is strong quality leaders to motivate and guide. But not Mulongoti or the likes of Castro. We have capable people but the corrupt rule

  119. can you please go to the village and tell those mickey mouse stories to villagers;i speak for all zambians and its only fare to say that your father did a very good job for our nation.

  120. WHAT!!!!I think it is a joke of the year and you can receive an award for that. You had a chance and time to build your name unfortunately you utilized most of it, if not all of that time to destroy your name and you are now paying for what you sowed.STOP DREAMING WE NOT SHORT OF PIPO TO DEVELOP ZAMBIA YOUR BRAINS ARE EMPTY WHAT DO YOU UNDERSTAND ABOUT GOVERNING A COUNTRY.what you did is still fresh on our minds, try in 3008 a decade from now

  121. i know cosmo personaly,he was with me at kabulonga boys, the boy is very craft,he is not to be trusted,at school he used to be a member of every club,he owns a security company that gurds simoson building, with just a few gurds,he is a joker who cant be taking serious,
