Simple truth #7. I remember the days Nkana used to produce talented players for Zambia through their youth team Ajax. the likes of the Malitoli brothers, Mbasela to mention but a few. Such is what the sale of the mines has robbed us. copperbelt teams are not the same so is the national team.

#8 please give us a break over the ‘sale of the mines’ as being the source of every problem in the country. It was a timely and good thing to do. The only problem was the manner in which it was done. It’s never to late though. Government can still come up with policies to ensure that the mines support communities in a number of ways including sports.
#10 thats exactly my point. I dont condemn the ‘sale of the mines’ and probably never will. I just wished govt would have found alternative sponsorship all ensured continued support.
I grew up in Kitwe’s nkana west were i had played lots of other games like cricket that are no more. So i do agree with your point , we need community support

Funsa #6 and Stanley #8.The ‘Xeno boy’ was whiped by Chingangu.The ref stopped the fight in the 7th round.The chap was floored 3 times in round 5,6 & round 7.The ‘Xeno chap’ says he wants a rematch in S.A cos the ref was biased.Chingangu just told him that,”the ref almost had him killed by not stopping the fight early”.Check the Times of Zambia website for full details.

My suggetion to the decline of football is that our team is failing to play well in the Africa cup coz they are not used to play in the nice pitch.There4 the only way to improve in sports is by building nice stadiums not just one but 4 minimum 3 pliz take this matter seriously.BGM one of those trying to develope Zambia.
