Update on Levy Mwanawasa

Share

The Medical team attending to Republic President Dr. Levy Mwanawasa is encouraged and satisfied with the current status of his condition which has remained stable for the last two days.

Vice President Rupiah Banda said in a media statement posted on the State house web site today that President Mwanawasa has continued to receive medical treatment at the Percy Military Hospital in Paris, France.

And Copperbelt Provincial Minister Mwansa Mbulakulima has said Republican President Dr Levy Patrick Mwanawasa is recovering satisfactorily from his illness in France.

Mr Mbulakulima said this during President Mwanawasa’s intercessory prayers organised by youths in Ndola at Lowenthal Theatre Hall this evening.

“This is a joyous day because our President is recovering and recovering satisfactorily,” he said.

The Minister said he was happy to superintend on Copperbelt Province because its people were united and had shown the unity during this period when the head of state was sick

The Minister, who thanked the youths in the district for organising the prayer meeting, encouraged Copperbelt residents to remain united because the province was the back bone of the country’s economy.

Mr Mbulakulima said he was optimistic that the President was going to come and that everyone would be at the Airport to receive him.

He said the Dr Mwanawasa had strong leadership attributes, which even the region, had seen and were now benefiting from.

And speaking earlier Copperbelt Deputy Permanent Secretary Christopher Mutembo said the fact that Zambia had been declared a Christian nation should comfort people because Jesus Christ dwelled in the country.

Mr. Mutembo urged the youth to pray to God so that the works of the enemy could be shamed.

He further called on the youths to pray for the first lady Mrs. Maureen Mwanawasa and the entire first family at this trying time.

And in his comforting message, Apostle Chilanji Shinkolo of Crown of Fire Ministries, said that it was heavenly legal for people to pray for their Kings in this case the Republican President.

The apostle said when people pray situations change and that God was able to remove dark crowds and bring on healing which the country was crying for at the moment.

He encouraged people to pray and intercede for the President so that he could come home to continue his good leadership.

The intercessory prayer meeting attracted youths from all high schools and basic schools in Ndola, church organisations, non-governmental organisations, youth groups and political parties.

  1. these rather shallow and empty updates are at best irritating!!the updates say everything EXCEPT what we want to know….can LPM talk/walk etc etc??

anyway we don’t have long to wait…eventually the truth will come out!!

  2. What does stable mean?Stable as in what?lt is difficult to judge as the populace as we do not know what the progress is being judged against.I guess the attitude we take should be -the king is always right.

  3. # 1,Teta knows exactly the condition of LPM and thts why he siad tht MMD has to start the process of leadrship succession if MMD is to survive. In the next three to four months from now, the nation willmost propably have early elections. RB and his team are still in denial that LPM is not going to continue at plot 1. Anyway, they are digging there own very deep grave!!

  4. Abena Zambia ,more than a week still trying to figure out the meaning of stable, here is one result from using google.
STABLE means static, showing little if any change so when you hear them say Levy is stable,it means his health is not deteriorating but little improvement so don’t get tired of the word stable,it’s a word doctors love!

By the way,a person in a coma doesn’t talk or walk so the govt wouldn’t hide if our dear President suddenly regains consciousness and starts walking, they would want to show you a video immediately and we hope and pray he awakes soon so that he comes and retires and ensure he lives us with another hardworking and trustworthy President like him

  5. i suppose we have to appreciate that the state has to be ready for such an eventuality as suggested by BHAPS.A leadership vacuum is often a perfect recipe for anarchy and one wonders if our democracy is mature enough to weather the storm!!

  6. Ala Ba Mwanawasa bakwele icine cine! Lelo ubulwele tabuletwalilila ukucila efyo bali ninshi twabatwele mucipatala.

Kanshi nqatu twalilile ukulomba Lesa mukulu pakutu bakateka bapusuke…….

  7. Frankly speaking this update doese not provide information. See Post headline now: Dr Rodger Chongwe suspects GRZ is hiding something, just updated

  8. The leadership vacuum being mentioned on this blog and by many other Zambians is non existent, the government doesn’t depend on one person to run the country, the country would have collapsed had that been the case however it should be mentioned that Levy is dearly loved because of the unnecessary panic that Zambians are having.Zambia’s democracy is quite mature infact Zambia is one of the few trully democratised nations in Africa and it’s due to strong leaders from the President all the way dowm, even the Police is changing, there is respect of the rule of law by the current Police Chief, the Army & Air Force are disciplined too,we are just blessed as a nation and we don’t know war & violence.

  9. When we talk about vacuum we dont mean that people are not there. What we are talking about is “drift” it is paralysis,it is uncertainty, where a nation is in auto pilot mode.Who is going to invest in such an atmosphere.Thats what we mean zeddy.

  10. It is indeed quite frustrating that the so called “updates” are not providing enough information to the public. We need to know whether he is in a coma or whether he is on life support. Without concrete information, people will misconstrue every story that the government releases. I hope that he is not only on life support and cannot live without the machines. Anyway, we just have to brace ourselves, and hope he pulls through this. But for his own health and the sanctity of the presidency, he will have to step down on health grounds once he recovers from this calamitous condition.

    – Bo Elder.

  11. as many have pointed out numerous times, the word “stable” implies no change, for good or for bad. so if as this article states, the medical team say LPM “has remained stable for the last two days” than how can Mbulakulima’s statement that LPM is “recovering and recovering satisfactorily” also be true. these are two contradictory statements….we are tired of stories & want the truth,.

  12. Seeker of the truth, the only uncertainity we have is concerning the survival of the President due to poor health otherwise government is running effectively. The country is not on ”autopilot”,it would crash in one day if it were to go on autopilot, investors & the world know Zambia is a oeaceful nation hence no one is predictinf turmoil in the country, there might be a few negative but not substantial changes in economic indicators etc but that is normal and not directly due to the President’s ill health but due to the global recession going on especially worsened by rising oil prices.

  13. Kansas,we should take it that Levy’s stability means doctors are satisfied with the way he is at the moment,he doesn’t need further emergency attention so it’s just waiting for him to awaken, people in coma have wires attached to them and are monitored via the computer and by a nurse 24/7 so it’s constant recording of what is going on so the doctors are happy hence the word satisfactory.

  14. “We as a party are doing nothing else, but praying for His Exvellency President Levy Mwanawasa so that he can recover succesfully and come to lead the country” It is statements like these from one Katele Kalumba in today’s post that are worrying me, Levy might have to go back to 2002 to start all over again when he recuperates if his Government remains in this state. I know Katele was referring to the party, but lest we forget, this is a party in power and running the affairs of the country, so who is working if all the time we spend in church. I agree with someone who said the country is in autopilot, we need to be practical about this thing. For those that know, how long does one take to..

  15. The uncertainty concerning the presidents health is what is causing the general uncertainty.Sata is on record to have strong anti china feelings,he is known to have praised mugabe on numerous occasions and l gurantee you that has not gone unnoticed in the many capitals of the world.

  16. contd 16…recover fully from a stroke? I am worried because that looks like the time MMD will be in prayers leaving Government to run on its own. Israel has not stopped functioning yest their “PM” has been in a coma and STABLE for close to 2 years now. Let us be realistic gentlemen, let us not use our africaness to let the country slide into anarchy as a result of a power vacuum, we are not running a chiefdom, we are talking of Government that is run by laws.

  17. Baane, why behaving like we have never heard of a sick person. Specially the question raised by Original Pundit tend to be inhuman and show no sign of feelings for the suffering. The stroke that heat our statesman can meet anyone at any age. We should not show wailly when someone is sick. We are going that way one day even if we want it or not. The lord will provide solutions to every situation. I have seen miracles in my life and I hv also lost beloved ones. Life is a two way system so there is no need of demonising the sickness that has befallen our president. In sorrow moments we need to unite and show love even to our enemies.

  18. #19, we are all in prayers for the quick recovery of our beloved President, but his being away from his office and the perceived power vacuum can have far reaching consequences if his Ministers who are supposed to guide the nation protract an image of a country in crisis, and that is what they are doing, just read the post editorial for yesterday and today and for those that use LUSE to trade know what I am talking about. The kwacha shot up to trade at 3500 to a US$ because of uncertainty from 3100, so let someone show that they are incharge so that the President can also rest easy instead of putting himself under pressure. Let me give you an example, if you are married like me and you…

  19. contd 20… and you fell sick and then your wife comes to youe bedside and tells you she has no clue how to run the home and look after the children as you recuperate, how would that help your sickness, I would imagine in LPM is being briefed, what happens to his body and recuperating process when he is told that Rupiah says he is under a lot of pressure running Government.

  20. Major crisis that follows forth is that they are not telling the nation what we are dying to hear. They have more than enough base of practical shushushuz to make them know that their chozen sort of advice is more provocative than conforting. If not, then I doubt the capabity of the advisors. That being the case, one takes it that the Presdo is NOT fit for national duties and may NOT be so for the UNKNOWN time to come. This is why the govt must swing into serious action in dealing with the succesor issue. We need meaningful updates, or none at all! “Hope” is breakfast for the needy … should he die, the country must NOT die along. This is not just an MMD mater, it is a Sweed ZED mater.

  21. UNIP is back in power. This is a little know fact that RB is not a member of MMD he is a UNIP member. That means UNIP will run the country for atleast 90 days after LPM is officially declared dead or incapacitated. This my friends is why there is so much confussion in MMD right now. The party has NO VP. Believe it or not LPM never had confidence in the MMD leadership thats why he consistantly looked outside MMD for the vice president. Thats why you need leaders who look beyond themselves. MMD as a party dont know what to do. Constitutionally they can’t remove RB. In the 90 days RB can fire all MMD carbinet ministers and replace them with UNIP members and there is nothing MMD can do about it.

  22. Dear Zambians, It’s about time we started focusing on the way forward. Let’s pray for the recovery of our president so he can get back and lead a life free of stress. Plot 1 is very stressful and not good for his health. We tend to speak as though there is nobody else who can take the country forward. Lets plan ahead. LPM has played his part.

  23. I agree with #17; I cannot understand people like you “easy” #19, who are trying to make this issue so light! This a president we are talking about here and no ordinary loved one. Our economy is bein threatened because of the uncertainty of this whole stroke thing. The kwacha is slowly depreciating and investors are holding on to their monies because they are uncertain of Zambia’s future. Yes, let us continue to pray for the man but let us also find a new leader for our country. We don’t know how long Levy is going to stay in his stable condition; may be just as long as Airial Sharon!!!

  24. Iwe Mwiinga you are writing as if this first time for you to hear someone sick. I have never ever heard our history that people are feed a patient with stressing information when visiting him/her. I nurses are trained to bring joy to a sick person so are doctors. I dont think its correct why you tried to put across. In times of trouble we look for a helping hand. It is not easy for government right now but we economist we cannot trade the rise of the kwacha at the stock exachange as due to the illness of the father of the nation. Look the west media are quite because they blunted by pronuouncing someone dead before proving it. Shame! There is nothing to hide here its just a matter of time

  25. Bo elder and Mwiinga…very good points noted.
People advocatig for succession are not doing that purely out of good faith. One the one hand it would be detrimental to allow Levy to cotinue as president as the job itself is very demanding.Life is more precios and there are no spare parts to replace it.On the other hand it seems now that every Jim and Jack now want to make a statement in the press in order for us to know that they exist. The earlier the Govt moves on the better otherwise it may lead to bigger fighting.

  26. Easy #26, take it Easy, calling someone IWE is not my style of communicating to someone I do not know, anyhow, this is a President, it is not me who is in hospital, there are two issues here, I am assuming the HE is in a position for a briefing, if you feed him wrong information and when he has fully recovered discovers you actually lied, the consequencies can be drastic, so you might as well tell him the truth. But the point I was trying to make Easy is that we as a country would do well to ensure that we instill confidence in the people of zambia who are the major stakeholder and the people that have business interests in Zambia otherwise the lack of confidence can be serious, I am not…

  27. contd 28… I am not an economist I am a business scholar and work for a development agency so I have a certain measure of understanding and equally surprised that you as an economist cannot connect the state of health and lack of information to have something to have an effect on the economic indicators, I stand to be further educated how “we economist cannot trade the rise of the kwacha at the stock exachange as due to the illness of the father of the nation” I thought I heard Professor Saasa who is a well known economist say something to that effect. Anyhow I am not an economist so my understanding is limited. Lets continue educating each other Easy.

  28. i don’t doubt the power of prayer, but what am meant to believe is that God answers specific needs. LPM is okey from the updates, since he was admitted he has always been stable, resting without problems, minor operations to improve his breathing, his doctors are ever happy to his progress. This is contradictory why should the doctors be happy when his condition is ever stable and more so he is still in the ICU. There is something the Gov is hiding, if it is for our own good it is time that will tell.

  29. #30 he was Governor for Lusaka under Kaunda and I have never heard him join MMD formally like the way William Banda did. So that speculation could be true and that will be the undoing of MMD.

  30. Given a choice of who should succed Levy I would say Prof Chirwa. This guy has a vision as well as the know how.Given a chance he would help change the image of Zambia. The fact that he has been abroad should even be an advantage. We all learn from others most of the time.

  31. Dear Bloggers
#4 Zeddy spot on. The Presido is in a terrible condition thats why RB uses “stable” to make it sound a bit light. Country men & women, the moment he comes out of his coma they’ll say he’s jogging! So for them to say stable then things are bad. #4 Zeddy, Walasa mudala!

  32. #33, I think my opinion is that let us not use exposure as a measure of Presidency, all these current crop of politicians is quite exposed, they might not have interacted with Nasa but in terms of intellect they cam march the Prof one on one. I personally think Chirwa might not make a very good leader, he might be a subtle slave driver. I have not heard him speak as I missed all the public lectures he conducted when he was hear, I am basing my argument on what I read.

  33. Hola i don’t intend to engage you in any cyber confrontation, i respect your opinion but totally disagree with you. Can you please post any material to the bloggers democratic party of chirwa that shows he has the vision for our country. Yes he might have the vision for his family but our area of concern is the country.

Point out one company in Zambia where he has major shares and i will keep quite. Check from the western African footballers they really invest in their countries, it wasn’t difficulty for the party to have sold Weah in the liberian debut democratic elections because of what he had been doing for the country.

Am waiting for the information from you, i just don’t the man.

  34. Aleni akulandeni bakateka benu heno longer fit to lead the nation .if he cannot breath normally will he manage a public speech. who is going to suction him in public meetings. We respect him but time for him is in the late afternoon lets just accept.

  35. This guy is very focused and very practical.I understand he studied in Russia and now lectures in one of the UK universities. On the issue of exposure what I mean is that you pick up ideas or if I can just be blunt you still ideas from others which you the adopt in your own different area.H ehas given a few speeches in the UK as well as Zambia and from what I gather he change the direction of our nation from just being a text book kowledge to actually manufacturing our own.

  36. Mr. Mwiinga, just saying hi to you. I am now leaving my work headed home. I will probably throw in some when I get home.

  37. Hola 38! It is very unfortunately my brother/sister that all what you know about this gentleman is not very extra-ordinary.
Hola are you aware that a number of Zambians during the Kaunda era studied in Russia. Has he ever worked in Zambia before?

Does he have a template for developing Zambia? imagine if Obama or macain where living in different countries other than the USA will they have been voted by their party structures and eventually find their way in white house. I have nothing against Prof Chirwa but need more info from you about him, am a critical and rational voter.

  38. I would love to see my country move further technology-wise and compete with the West.India and China have done it so why can’t we?
Manufacturing our own car is a problem even when we have so many highly qualified engineers in various fields. We have the raw materials so what is the problem?
I for one am tired of smooth talking politicians who can’t deliver.Us Zambians can talk and talk until the cows come home.
First phase was liberation from the coloniolists followed by the move to multiparty politics. We have the freedom and the freedom of speech so what is left now than to develop and catch up with the rest of the world.

  39. Hi kalos2020, i thought you had resigned from this blogging party. Come on you make a good reading ba mudala.

  40. #40 yes I can bet you this guy can stand shoulder to shoulder with the Mccains and Obamas of this world.Did you read his profile in the post sometime back?
The next president of Zambia should be someone is practical irrespective of their field of expertise.
Prof Chirwa has been advisor to the US and UK aeronautical teams and has actually been envited to lecture at the UK university.
I might sound vague about his field of study as that is not my cup of tea.I am in the English Legal System.

  41. I agree with you Hola, we need manufacturing companies to kick start. It is very unfortunate now that most of the people in our country are studying accountancy courses because of lack of manufacturing industries. Do you think Prof Chirwa can start manufacturing Cars or just initiate that?

  42. #41 that is precisely where the problem begins, what is needed is a party with a manifesto which tells me that according to the yellow book (national budget document) for the year’s 2006-2011, Government so and so spent so much on health, and when we come to power we shall raise so much from such and such revenue sources and we shall apply it this way, that is not currenly happening all the party manifestos just make general statements about what they intend to do and unfortunaly we are a nation that cannot analyse things deeply. Remember the devil is always in the detail and for the record not all nations that are technologically advanced and economically advanced.

  43. We have a potential of having Tilyenji as vice president when RB officially becomes president. With UNIP at the helm i dont think there will be GNU given the bad blood between UNIP and MMD. I dont think RB will maintain people like Mpombo and Teta. He may bring in stable charactors like Gen Miyanda to consolidate his eastern base while using Sata’s reconcilation with LPM to get CB and NP. Given the brain surgery Sata underwent in South Africa , ithink he will be ok with a local government portifolio.

  44. The condemnation of Teta is why most right thinking and dynamic people do not come to the fore. They are scared of being trampled by dull crooks like Katele Kalumba. I must say Kalumba has been protected by Levy for far too long. Now he is scared of being prosecuted by the next leader, so he is shouting the loudest. In the meantime the rest of the country is in ostrich mode. I don’t usually like what comes out of Teta’s mouth, but this time he is spot on.

  45. No amount of praying will repair someone’s brain if it has been damaged. I find all this superstitious stuff very sad in the 21st century. If these were Indians praying to their gods, Christians would be the first ones to condemn them as idol worshipers. Yet some self appointed ‘men of God’ are forcing this self indulgent clap trap on all of us. We need to face facts, Zambia must go on. A lot of Zambians have died in the last week alone – most from lack of drugs and from preventable diseases. Sadly, their lives account for nothing. The money being spent in France is probably twice the annual budget of Kasama general hospital. When are we going to develop in our thinking?

  46. At last a Zambian with balls has spoken out against this charade the whole country seems to be engaging in. Roger Chongwe has openly said that the government is not telling the truth.

  47. I would like to differ with a blogger who argued that the country does not depend on one man. In differing with him I ll argue that Zambia has a centralized system of governance. If a Health centre in shangombo does not have running water, the people in that area will blame the president not the council chairman because they know that a Zambian president controls every thing.

  48. #47 He has plans to create a technolgy park in the capital.
As for the manufacturing of a motor vehicle I was just giving an example.
Talking of cars, who would have thought that China would taken over the Giant Rover Cars in the UK? What about Land Rover by Indians? Now all the good including my laptop are manufactured cheaply in China for the West. How did they get the knowledge? Russia, America and the rest of the West have always knicked ideas from others.I am here for the same purpose.

  49. Zeddy you are so ignorant even when you google words you still fail to understand them. Can you keep quiet on maters you know nothing about. You cant be in coma for that long and expect to come back to normal function its impossible. Make a private visit and see Mr Lambart the consulnt neurosurgeon he will explain off your ignorance. Or give me your email address or 4n number and I will explain things to you step by step. STABLE in coma and you think he will come back and handover power eh? Ariel Sharon is stable. My guess is that Doctors are happy that he is recovering from surgery. Even if LPM had a medically induced coma, he should have been worken up by now.I think you are also stable.

  50. #55, granted that is true, but remembre there is a lot we need to change in this country and the major change is that of work culture and for that you need a motivational speaker and Prof Chirwa does not really cut it for me on that score. These people firstly have taken the world by storm becoz they have succeeded in reducing the cost of production which the west have failed to manage and their work culture is just unimaginable.

  51. #54 Footballer, Kalusha is a good name, but is he a Presidential material? I say absolutely NO. Weah tried and yesterday he was confessing openly that he lost the contest becoz of lack of education. He has now enrolled in a university in Florida to boost his qualities. You know the world is changing and Kalu cannot copy with the rigors of economical, technological, psychological, socialogical, healthcare pressures.

  52. ha ha ha #61, I have matebeto for someone so ningakusile uziba che kuti wasanga aba pongoshi badabwa, tomorrow man I know you are GMT.

  53. Cont ..Infact they should bring him back to reduce the tax payers unwarranted expenses. Why isnt he in UTH? Oh its because UTH has no machines to keep him STABLE! But thats where you will be taken should you suffer a stroke. We have the Doctors but we dont have the machinery neeed to run a hospital decently in this millenium. We have a country that doesnt have a single MRI scaner, no kidney dialysis, no properly equipped theatre the list can go on. And you find that extremely intersting dont you? Let him die there is nothing special abot his life than millions of zambians who have died of strokes undiagnosed and you say nababalowa he was fine in the morning. Please Zeddy keep very quiet

  54. This ‘he is in a stable condition’ is now getting on everybody’s nerves.Same message 2 weeks on.
    Can someone bring out these able men;
    Prof Chirwa
    HH
    Miyanda
    Chituwo
    Tetamashimba

Someone go and tell them that the hour has come for change

  55. #51 you are very right and i share your concerns fully. In other countries they have have health screening programmes to help detectic early cancers of the breast, cervix, prostate etc. What do we have nothing and zambians continue to die and we offer no prayers or even remorse and yet we find it fit to keep one person in paris and offer daily prayers. I find all this irritating.

  56. #65, ha ha ha enjoy the drenching, my God I saw this while watching wimbledon, they kept on running on and off the court

  57. People, lets get serious Kalu? What postion are we talking about here presidency? No,no,no,no,no,no. He is footballer who failed to change the national teams direction. What has he done as FAZ vice president?

  58. The truth will set us free. You better tell us what is affecting our old man. We no longer live in those days when we were forced to believe in lies.

  59. VETERAN politician Dr Rodger Chongwe yesterday said he is sceptical over government’s assurances on the State House website that President Levy Mwanawasa’s condition has improved.’I also agree to this words-Read todays post’

  60. #68 you can only apppreciate what a beautiful country you have when you leave it for a while. The peace and friendliness of the poeple is second to none.May this continue…
That is why we are all anxious at the moment. As for the people feeding us lies they are not doing anyone a favour but only destroying the people’s confidence. What is it that they are trying to sort out before moving on are they syphoning their monies abroad or what?I am becoming suspicious.

  61. It’s like thesse guys are telling us lies!!website of state house can be updated by the administrator who controls the website.Even me i can do that.i’m an IT specialist i know that.
Let the doctors working on mwanawasa tell the Nation.
That’s what other countries do.doctors must tell the nation not politicians. when doctors were operating on sanate kennedy CNN intervied the them.
why those journalists in Zambia can’t go to France and do the same? They are just waiting on the statehouse website.
    Those Zambian journalists are jokers.
They be blamed also if zambia will be in chaoes!!
Their job is to find the truth
    wake up zambians!!!!!

  62. #74 Proff Chirwa seems fine with me too but he has not told us his vision for Zambia. We appreciate his contribution to science but his kind of experience may be irrelevant to our immediate economical, political and strategic interests. We need continuity, I think we should consider a system insider like Magande, Chituwo etc these men are learned too.

  63. The problem with insiders is that they have nothing new to prove apart from blind loyalties. Some people are better off working under others like Gordon Brown. He was the best chancellor of exchequer, one of the best advisors to Tony Brown but now look how he keeps messing up.Less than a year in office has seen him bring labour down despite his make up.

  64. #76 True to some extent but it is this same expertise that will bring other nations on our doors should we have something to offer.
At the moment Zambia is at an advantage in terms of Tourism,Agriculture,Mining and Stability(that is why we are makig so much noise so that this continues).

  65. Brian Chituwo, Felix Mutati, Patrick Chisanga, Mungomba(commission),Chifumu Banda,Mulupi(MP),HH,Miyanda…..would be a good crop to pick from….

  66. “Vice President Rupiah Banda said in a media statement posted on the State house web site today that President Mwanawasa has continued to receive medical treatment at the Percy Military Hospital in Paris, France.” Is this necessary? Where they planning on to discontinue treatment?

  67. #23 Its not true that RB can fire all ministers during the 180 day*(6 months) period. He’s powers according to the consititution do not alow him to fire or appoint without cabinet approval. Infact there’s very litte he can do without approval from cabinent. He really just is a figure head. The constitution also provides for a 6 month period before election can be held. Where is this 90 day theory from anyway?

  68. i do 100% agree with Dr Rodger Chogwe´s sentiments in today´s Post.Has any of the Gov´t officials ever been to LPM`s bedside?
Maybe for the country to be clear enuff,we should have some MP´s from from all parties to go there in France and get back and give a clear picture to the nation.Makes me wonder why the international news media hasn´t said a word since he was reported dead and all we get is this stable story comming in day in day out.The issue here is,is he gonna be fit enuff to be back as President? We need a presdo with all this Zimbabwe shotting incidents…………………

  69. Pro Chirwa for President think again. Exposure does not make you a good leader but vision and hard work. Zambians are sometimes fickle. Okay just because I run a very good business in the US and make $1m per annum then I can be presido of Zambia? What does chirwa know about politics let alone Zambian politics. Let Chirwa start as ward chairman in UNIP or MMD and then rise from their. Just look at how Obama started.

The MMD should start looking for a new leader to lead them because LPM is not coming anytime soon. He is goin to be stable for the next I dont know.

  70. A “tracheotomy” (which is the operation the president must have had) is a relatively minor procedure BUT the fact the he has had it means he is in a very bad way – he is having trouble breathing and swallowing to the extent that he is getting the two mixed up – he is probably not able to talk – someone in this state is many months or years away from returning to “normal” – (if they recover at all) – let alone being able to be a national president.

It is an extremely serious situation: everyone needs to take notes from how Israel dealt with the same situation – there was a realitively fast transition in keeping with the constitution – that is what constitutions are for.

  71. when doctors describe a patient’s codition as “stable” what they are actually saying is the patient’s condition is not worse or better than at time of hospitalization. with regard to mr. mwanawasa ( i deliberately avoided using his honorally title of ‘dr’)he was in a semi-coma on day of hospitalization. withstanding the meaning stable we can then safely deduce that he is not getting any better.

  72. When he had the first stroke he was evacuated to London from Zed. He fell ill in Egypt he was evacuated to France, to a military hospital. Why not the same English doctors? Cairo is even closer to England than Lusaka.
    Something stinks here!!

  73. #88 don’t expose you ignorance on this blog please. It’s the govt. stupid, who else?. Those are the benefits of being a leader.

  74. Are you kidding me?If LPM was your father can you pronounce him dead even if he was alive.Has anyone,of you heard about bola pashi?why are we rushing things.Give LPM a chance he will God willing be able to hand over power to somebody.waiting is painfull.

  75. # 91 It takes a theif to catch a theif. This forum is based on opinions. If you do not understand that and call people stupid you must be a fontini. koswe !!

  76. The 90 days is the period allowed by the constitution for the VP to be president and there should be elections. within this period he is president with full powers. However, now that he is just acting he can not fire nor hire. but when becomes president after LPM is declared incapacitated he can fire

  77. #90 . You are the one stupid. The tax payers are paying for the entourage. The government for your own info is funded by our taxes. Where do you think the government getsthe money? Answer this question and lets see who is stupid between the two of u.

  78. At this rate, Levy Mwanawasa is going to die again.

These updates are now getting my goat. Does it mean wives are not being battered, rural folk are not dyin of poverty because of LPM’s bucket-kicking antics? LT, go out there and find us news.

  79. Is LPM able 2talk,walk,open his eyes, eat fud not fed thru tubes, recognise pipo? If he cant do all of the above, my beloved ones i am sorry. Post news papers send journalists 2france if its true u can dig deeper. Dig on LMP’s condition and imform us.

  80. Fellow zambians, we need people like prof chirwa to to steer this nation to economic heights. The western world has developed because of the strategic vision harbored by people like prof chirwa. All the technology innovations being enjoyed in zambia, is from the west . The problem we have in zambia, we do not look at issues because of high iliterate levels. Even sata can do a better job despite being talkative. Every normal person knows that sata can develop zambia in to a mini England because of his acumen. Stop being personal and casual. By the way, any organisation or country must have a succession plan, and there is nothing wrong for teta to call for that. Lemba lemba just shut up.

  81. Too much abou Levy’s Illnes. These briefings are boring Nothing new in them. Here is something Juicy
    Nyasa Times Reporter 11 July, 2008 01:12:00
    Vera: Bingu’s new found love?

Barely a year after the death of his Zimbabwean wife of 40 years, Ethel , Malawi President Bingu Mutharika has reportedly stepped out with a new love interest. He is linked with former First Lady of Zambia, Vera Chiluba.

Vera was divorced from Zambia ’s ex-ruler Fredrick Chiluba in late 2001 on allegations of adultery. She was suspected to have been in an illicit affair with a business tycoon, Archie Mactribouy. She was Chiluba’s second wife and had nine children together.

According to a Malawian resident i

  82. According to a Malawian resident in Zambian capital, Lusaka , currently on a short holiday in the country and familiar with the matter [name withheld] said Vera, is intimately in love with Mutharika and she sent the Malawi ruler several presents ranging from men’s underwear, her own knickers and potency pills.

The source disclosed that Vera has been visiting the Malawi leader at the New State House, a claim which a State House source in Lilongwe confirmed.

“We have been hosting Vera,” said an officer working at State House who said her visitation should not be misguided considering that the President knew her in Zambia long time ago when they used to reside together.

    A senior aide

  83. A senior aide to Mutharika however said the matter was “mere speculation” until it becomes “official”. The President’s brother Prof Peter Mutharika, reportedly advised Bingu to be in love, but not to marry, according to sources close to the Head of State.

State House informant disclosed that Vera was last seen as a special guest of Mutharika a week before the Malawi leader flew to the Egyptian Holiday Resort of
Sharma El-Sheikh for the 11th session of the African Union Summit.

“She was here before the President left for Egypt ,” said the source. Mutharika has been rumoured to be linked to several high ranking government women namely Majorie Ngaunje [former health minister], Anna Kac

  84. Anna Kachikho [Women’s minister] and Patricia Botomani Kaliati [Information Minister] since he lost his wife last year after a failed battle against cancer.

But a senior ruling party official who opted for anonymity said Mutharika is anxious that the matter does not become a subject of public debate.

However, he said it is hoped the “issue is treated with due decorum to allow President Mutharika come to terms with the new state of affairs.”

The president’s office could not comment on the status of the two.

However, in a media statement issued by press officer Chikumbutso Mtumodzi on Wednesday, said President Mutharika is “seriously preoccupied” in reshaping the country soc

  85. #105 it is true, these updates do not mean a thing, so what if the doctors are happy, it is not their call, the happiness should be with the zambian people, good Lord, what is going on here?

  86. Lo and behold, the STABLE theory is here to stay until pipo forget about LPM. I bet if suddenly pipo went back to work, pertend nothing happened, mulongoti will speak the truth and we will know it coz long illnesses or short illnesses or ultimately death can never be hidden, its just like a pregancy, u can hide for the few months but when labour pains come, u tell even when you were have sex.

  87. Lefi mulwele sana. Talolesha, tasunkana. E mulandu wine ubuteko bulefishila ilyashi pa bumi bwakwe. Chilemoneka kwati Moleen nanona ukutekako after Money Manda abazako 3 months.

  88. Thank to Zaza, I now listen to Radio 702 online, Am sure the Radio has had an increased number of listeners as out of the Zaza International Scam. It seems to be quit a good radio if one is in abroad. Is Radio Qfm or Phoenix online now?

  89. imwe levy is very sick and hes condtion has not improved at all.teta is right we just need to find some one to replace ba mudala

  90. PLM is very much alive but completely brain dead. No speech and no movement on half his body. Funny enough MMD has several eyeing presidency but scared to step up now!

  91. in zambia and africa, there is no timely advise especially in times of sickness or death. every time is untimely even when Teta says this at this rite time, the *****s think its no timely. is LPM the only leader in zambia? we have the other 150 elected pipo in parley who can move motions

  92. Here is a story: Teta goes for work wearing a loose trousers and no belt. As he paces about his work, the button on his trousers gives in, his pair of trousers drops to the ground leaving his underway exposed! “I need a belt he shouts”. His subordiantes and other onlookers say: “Yes there is a “clever” and brave man calling for a belt to hold his trousers”. Theoretician says there goes a foolish man who should have worn a belt in his trousers in the first place! Caught pants down and crying for help! It obvious he needed a belt. Why shout after the trousers has dropped to the ground? Reaction rather than forward planning.

  93. Get well soon LPM, guys that side that is enough information i’m are looking.Well informative and nothing much i want to know as you have said “the current status of his condition which has remained stable for the last two days”.

  94. Teta’s steps came from alpha and omega thats why from today onwards his steps re calculated to misery dearth, how can a coward like him come here in zambia to talk nonesense about president levy’s death let him dig the grave then if he knows what he is talking about.

  95. Yes the devil should be shamed and all of us who allow the devil to operate in us should prevail over the enemy of man.God is not God of disturbance but peace all that seems to bring disturbance comes from the devil. For man was meant to leave until old age all that happens to us before our full lenth of stay on earth is not the will of God.May the president fully recover because we also wish good for ourselves.

  96. Madam Rhonda why do you want Teta to go to hell? are you of the view that Teta shouldn’t have talked about leadership search in MMD.

I equally don’t like him but i differentiate logic from emotions.

  97. The president is in a coma.Let us continue praying for him but let us also be ready for a new head of state coz LPM wont be able to continue with national duties.

  98. teta is very correct,i have never admired this man and most of his statements, but on this one am rily agreable without doubt.MMD guys must think had on this one and its time they act with due respect to LPM.

  99. for once i totally agree with Teta.burying our heads in the sand wont at all work.Lets learn to call a spade a spade.to have a nation running on autopilot isnt good. The suspense the nation is in can work to our detriment.i know talking about a person in the past is taboo in our culture but for how long?Zambia is a peaceful and it shall forever be.God has Zambia at heart. It shall be well.lets follow the constitution and do the needful simply saying hes stable wont fill the vacuum of the presidency.I believe Zambia has capable people should the worst come.Lets unite in this time.we agree to disagree as well thats debate.insults wont solve our problems.Theres only one Zambia always remember.

  100. If iam to mention something on LPM`S succession i would straight away point at Patrick Chisanga even though he does not belong to any political party the moment.I have always felt that he is person with a heart, capable working 2gether with others

  101. You fools what would you do even if they told you the truth you want to hear about Levy?
Non of you *****s will ever rule Zambia.

  102. #124, I have told you before and I’m telling you again – stop using Obama’s name in vain. His profile and yours are galaxies apart! The man would never call his fellow Africans fools and degrade them like you do. Might aswell use your real names while exposing your shallowness instead of hiding cowardly behind a man of a top integrity and calibre you will never ever posess! Wanna say what?

  103. No 124: it’s better you call yourself willie Sanda because he is capable to say what you have said, not even Micheal Sata would have used such terms. What you write is a clear window to your mind.

Who told you that we want to be all presidents, are those analysts analysing on Obama and macain want to stand for presidency? Do you understand the essence of blogging? Anyway i will spare you for others to pump a lot of sense in you. Read the Seven Habits of the most Highly effective people! you will know how to handle people on the cyber planet.

  104. I mean let us support pipo like HH for Preido to rule this nation not these good for nothing guys like Nine Chale

  105. #129. If HH has sent you, please leave this blog. HH is a thief and why talk about the presidency when we still have a President (LPM). Let him (HH) rot wherever he is and if he thinks he will be president, he is mistaken. Even Magande or first lady are better candidates than HH.

  106. #132: You have tickled my ribs. A lot of Zambians do need this sort of humour at the moment. It can help to calm their nerves.

  107. Worm’s Eye – Mugabe Seeks Tips from Mwanawasa

The Weekly Observer (Kampala) 9 July

“I must confess that I am extremely impressed by how the President of Zambia, Mr. Levy Mwanawasa, has not died from a stroke. When the chap collapsed in Egypt, we were all sure he was gone. But many days later, and despite reports to the contrary, he is still alive and kicking. I may not like the man, but that is one thing I can learn from him: how not to die,” Mr. Mugabe told diplomats from China, Micronesia and Nauru in Harare.

  108. Opportunity only knocks once. Miyanda missed it when he refused to join hands with rest (FDD)& went ahead to form his own Heritage. Had he joined forces he would have ascended to FFD presidency and avoided the split of votes FFD’s Tembo got & Miyanda got also around 17% 20+17 = 37%. 10% better than what LPM got in 2001.The rest is water under the bridge. Come 2006 &that UNZA academician, Mtesa thrust the so called Village concept on the General. Suffice to say it is absurd to talk about untested uhuru/village models in this fast changing free market global economy. Gen looked stupefied on TV as he tried to explain this village thing in a national/global economic context.

  109. CONTD:Gen lost miserably and sunk into oblivion. Mtesa made a name and continued to ruffle some feathers about the sale o KCM TO Vendata. To keep him quiet he was made govt advisor on economic something and life continues. Life can be cruel sometimes.

  110. I hope RB is receiving support from Cabinet because at the rate things are going, it may seem someone relative knows the boss is on life support and an influencial family member is counting on a strategy of taking over and some family tree members are blocking RB from convening cabinet. Before a messy denial happens, can RB ask for Medical Report so that a firm decision is made.

Lets show that we can at least follow our own constitution. It is time the post dug deeper.

  111. i think we all know by now for sure that we need to select a new leader coz levy will never be the same after all this.we tired of listening to all this crap from our bunch of *****s the so called leaders.levy alifwa

  112. people start looking for a potential candidate becos our president is not coming back soon.

    HH
    Micheal Sata
    Rupiah Banda

    hahaha thats all you got!!!!

  113. Stable means no improvement,no deteriation, ba li chabe meaning the situation can get worse or improve later. U can also be satisfied that this person is stil stable for thepast days. So timpempela baba. But pliz spare teta his is a positive consideration, isreal’s sharon was stable in comma for a long period….

  114. #133 the so called Monk you sound like your name who can’t think beyond his noise.HH is the right man for Zed at moment.Presido LPM has a knock engine though we wish him a quick recovery and well retirement.

  115. Obama’s choice of candidates is not very bad! Please Monk learn to bring the truth in a sound way. Please if you feel HH is a thief go and report to the Task force mandated in dealing with issues of plunder of national resources.

From the tune of your sentiments you just hate HH. Tell us why you think HH is a thief and why is so immuned to prosecution, while Chiluba your friend is ever at Chikwa court. It has turned out to be his village.
Even Mazoka was also labeled as a thief who store cattle and took them to muzoka, because of less research people who peddled such lies thought Mazoka hailed from Muzoka.
I don’t propose leaders to anyone, that is my rule but i hate cheap talk.

  116. My fellow Zambians, i am left in no doubt that LPM is in a dire and critical condition. These shallow and non-substantial updates only confirm my worst possible fears that the president may be immobile as he was in Egypt and cast an ominous shadow on his true medical condition. The terms Stroke and Brain Haemorrhage are no joke and are debilitating conditions which may leave a victim incapacitated. President Mwanawasa is at best only responding to medicine and making slight progress towards recovery and at worst brain dead and comatose. I wish the latter is NOT the case and having personally witnessed and lived with a stroke victim im not so optimistic.

  117. Remember Sharon and our own Felix Bwalya the boxer who died in the ICU after winning a controvesial fight at mulungushi conference centre

  118. To 136 Copypaste; i read that on ‘the zimbabwe situation’ website yesterday and could not believe Mugabe had actually said what he said. I think the ‘old Warthog Mugabe’ is senile and should have been him at Percy hospital instead of our beloved president(Mugabe is banned from stepping foot on European soil though). He (mugabe) almost had a fist fight with a British reporter at the recent AU meeting in Egypt had it not been for his bodyguards restraining him. Perhaps that would have been the perfect occassion for him to suffer a heart attack and spare the Zimbabwean people the misery of his rule!

  119. Ladies and gentlemen, your new cabinet and their deputies…

  120. #94 I googled the Zambian constitution & i still do not see where this 90 day theory is coming from? Please give yo source. The one i saw states elections are to be held 6 months from the time of death or incapacition bcoz of health. & for as long as he’s in this acting capacity his powers to do anything are subject to cabinent approval.

  121. Who decides and when whether the President is “incapacitated,” or not is it the Cabinet or the Chief Justice?

  122. You guys which Constitution are u reffering to when u tok about who takes over when the incumbent president can not finish a term. under the current Constitution the Chief Justice takes over the reign during which at the end of 90 days a new Govnt is suppose to be ushered-in in power. These are the laggons that the CRC UNDER THE MUNGOMBA tried to address bec in the old constitution this critical issue was not provided for or safice to say that it was ignored probably bec it was believed that KK wud b there in power 4rever”KK wamuyaya”.
We re now confronted with reality i.e. posterity is about to judge us as a nation, Our fore fathers must account for this gravious oversight.LESA FYE KWENA

  123. Govt leaders shud b realistic as much as pipo re prayg they shud b abl 2 get rite updates if they re 2 kno which direction wit how much intensity 2 take their prayrs.E.G when Elijah prayd 4 rains during drought, each time he prayd, wud send his servant 2 go & con4m whether clouds were formg,4 propensit 2 intensify in prayr Elijah relied on progres repot fro de servant who kept on obsevg de hapenings in de sky, thus progres repot movd fro no cloud-cloud-much cloud

  124. This is what I pulled out the Zambian CONSTITUTION

    Article 45 Vice-President
    (1) There shall be an office of Vice-President of the Republic. (2) The Vice-President
shall be appointed by the President from among the members of the National
    Assembly.

RB does not qualify as VP according to item 2.

  125. #159

But Rupiah Banda is the vice president at the moment and doesn’t that mean he automatically takes over from President Mwanawasa?

RB qualify to be VP becos he was appointed by the president so how did u arrive at your conclusion?

  126. #159 , That is exaclty the point. The VP was appointed by the President and not the people. To be president you need to be elected by the people. Here on if anything the Cheif Justice will make the call which is 90 days for the people to go to the polls!! Thats the law

  127. #149. Remove Dr. Mpande from the list. The chap is stupid and an *****. He is also a womaniser and thats why he was fired by Chiluba. His thinking is too shallow / low and has dictatorial mentality who things he knows everything and others don’t know any single thing.

  128. Big ups to you Monk….We don’t need such scatter brains who think they are sharper than the rest when in fact their IQ is that of chicken.

  129. # Fit Felix Mutati in your shadow Cabinet on account of his brains.Otherwise you are maing an interesting proposal!

  130. You ill note that the incumbent was awakened in deep sleep by V J and others on FTJ’s directive to come and be the the Head of State, implying this trend has already been set. In 2006, Levy also had to surprise THE nation when went to awake RB in his deep sleep or archieves so he could become the VP of the nation. ”Balimubusha kale RB” Kulabushanyafye pa ZED-it is a set precedence. Comment

  131. # 159 The president cleary has contitutional powers to nominate pipo to Parliament & then appoint them to postions of minister or in RB case VP. It’s well within his rights except in this particular case the VP is not from within the party & that can have a backlash effect espercially when the party does not seem to have a clear power struture in place hence all the confusion. It’s a failure in leadership when in yo absence a power vaccum is created. MMD needs to get a handle on the situation b4 it gets totaly out of hand. Splinter parties could emerge if this sitution is not handled well.

  132. Teta is spot on for a change and those trying to stiffle his views I can assure you are just a regrouping of typical Zamtropers who will take us back to the days of FTJ and his cohorts. Viva Teta! Viva leadership with integrity! Abash Corrupt leadership

  133. Analyst by the way has demonstarted fro us that we do actually very capable leadreship to run the country, except I wouls juggle that cabinet a little bit throw in Felix Mutati somewhere and Move HH to VP otherwise Spot on Analyst and pliz aka to information . Revive the likes of Dr Chongwe to sort help sort out international crisis like ZIM

  134. As regards my list, I left blanks for people to fill in; you are also free to juggle and strike off. I hardly know anything about Mpande’s personal life, so bear with me.But so far, do I hear Patrick Chisanga for President? My point with this ‘shadow cabinet’ is that we should not just be looking at who is going to be President. We should lobby whoever becomes President to come up with a good team.
I am of course dreaming, it’s time to wake up to the reality of political machinations! That’s the reality in Zambia. But bear in mind that, such a cabinet is possible, and we as LT Bloggers Association (lol!) who are good keyboard critics will get out there and lobby for such a team!

  135. #172. I am not condenming you but was just trying to put across my views of mpande after knowing him for so long. Ask anyone who has worked with him at UNZA or in Government and they will tell you. No wonder FTJ fired him. You are very correct in your thinking and was just tryng remove some characters from the list whom we should not even think or dream about. You can also put me on the list.

  136. Monk [173], I hear you and understand your concern. I have created a post for you:

Education Deputy Minister (Universities) – Monk [173]! l.o.l.!

  137. #149, call it a model kabbinet … it looked impressive though.

Otherwise, let us continue in prayers for the President Mr LP Mwanawasa (SC, Hon. Doctor), our Country, Zambia, as a whole and our great Nation in general.

Could someone, especially the LAWYERS, please provide a link to the most updated Zambia Republican Constitution. I am currently getting varying information from the ones I am getting on the internet.

  138. #176 There is only the 1991 constitution and that is the one being redone. The constitution has not been updated and was last amended in 1991. If you google zambian constitution make sure that it has the flag at the top and a preamble and a statement that it was amended in 1991.

  139. #149 Analyst
Spot on my friend. I would like to go for Bob Sichinga as President… He’s got the charisma and he’s presidential material.

  140. Now what happens, if a minister is out of line? Can RB fire ministers, say, he steals money while LPM is in hosipital. I think LPM is clever than what you guys think. His friend Kunda will do the legal manovares and his family tree will do the security thing. I can assue you that LPM will soon come back and give power to a new veep and that is the guy, who will take over, forget about voting, Chiluba did the same.

  141. #181, twi bwelela Kuli Zaza, we will only get true, verified and uncompromised data from RB. I also assure you that should LPM arise from his so-called stability, he will issue a statement. We must continue to pray for he’s health for now.

  142. 179

please tell us if this is true
can you confirm – how did u know.

i just feel this uncertainity is not good at all.

THE COUNTRY IS BEING PUT ON TH ELINE.

i was reading about percy clamart hospital – they even offer plastic surgery services, and some hema….services.
it is on outskirts of paris, not urban area, most likely thats the best way to keep visistors away.

Chriwa was in France but could not be allowed to visit the president – that is what is reported in the Porst today.

NOW THESE RUMOURS nUMBER 179 ARE THEY TRUE? HOW TRUE?

YOU MEAN FOR SECOND TIME LPM IS DEAD? HOW CAN HE DIE A SECOND TIME? THANK GOD JESUS ASCENDED INTO HEAVEN.

  143. #179 Pls dont start Zazalising this issue again you will cause another ‘crying babe RB’ in the entire cabinet.

  144. Hey people help me out. Let say the predo “”MY SELF” is incapacitated for how long does the VEEP act and when/where does the chief justice come in. Also how about the 90 days before the poll, what about the VEEP finishimg “MY” term to 2011??

  145. Guys. I am stable and my family is stable, my son is stable and my bank account is stable. U20 won 3-0, so Zambian football is stable, economy is stable, our borders are stable, LPM is stable, the country is stable even when Prez is sick. Zambia is a blessed stable country. So no need to worry on this blog everything is stable.

  146. I will be giving updates on our dear president. Why are people doubting what RB is saying?

  147. there is no period given on how many days the VP can act in the current constitution. so he can even act up to 2011? imagine!

which i dont think should be. Zambia is democratic and a president needs mandate from the people whether 50%+1 or majority vote.

So VP will act until 2011, if LPM doesnt come back.

But for those who are zambiaphobia, lets sya that miracles will happen and LPM will come and address us again (just to comfort people who fear teh truth)

Its good he is stable, whatever that means, for 12 days that is the word we have heard.

We thank God indeed that he stable. we pray he comes back healthy

  148. If Mwanawasa will not be able to rule again and if the constitution states no period of the rule of the VP i would surgest that the VP goes on until 2011 and then we choose the president from their as normal as long as he has all the powers to rule and function like the president.Three years is not far.

  149. prayers kep on flowing for our main man, guys from the embassy south africa did us proud to see them coming for the payers whc were held in kempton park jburg at christian life center .bishop moono thank u for the thought and the service was wonderful despite the poor turn up .mr president pipo have prayed and the healing is upon u in jesaus name

  150. People on this blog you surpise me. Google the Zambian constitution, it is very clear what will happen if president dies, or is not able to be in office. Veep can only be there for three months, if veep is dead also or whatever cabinet will choose a leader for three months then elections. Why are going back and forth. The Zambian constitution is on the net.

  151. what is happening in this nation is a complete circus. let us look at things from a reality point of view. Katele Kalumba, the Chiengi Mafya, can not lead Zambia and no one in his right normal senses would even imagine him as head of state.. Zambians have been so naive and i know them to be so. Some foolish characters might be in support of a plunderer such as him.
lets look at issues not from the politic point of view but from an objective point of view. even the sickness of our beloved president has been politicised which makes objective reporting to be compromised…stability of an illness has been misinterpreted to suit political ambitions and not to the benefit of the news recipients.

  152. I feel big Teta is just right. The problem is that the situation affects a multitude of finger picked positions which would go with change of leadership. As such they would rather stay with him if they have to continue in employment.
It takes fools ten years to realize what a wise man said then.

  153. What about Vera Chiluba Tembo and Malawian President Mbengu wamu Talika ‘affair’ news is all over the show that there going out, zambian is it true? and if true are already to export our former first lady to be the current first lady in Malawi? If it is true God help us

  154. Guys please lets us all pray for the president.Miracles happen and you will be all shocked that the president will be fine again in fact he will give a speech when he returns

  155. God is in total control and lets shame the
