Today’s Word with Joel & Victoria

Eternity Is In Your Heart

Today’s Scripture

He has made everything beautiful in its time. He also has planted eternity in men’s hearts and minds, a divinely implanted sense of a purpose working through the ages which nothing under the sun but God alone can satisfy (Ecclesiastes 3:11 AMP).

Today’s Word from Joel and Victoria

God has placed eternity in the hearts of mankind. Everything we experience not only serves a purpose here on earth, but it serves a purpose for eternity. Right now, God is working in you and putting inside of you everything you need to fulfill your eternal destiny. He is making you ready to rule and reign with Him. As long as you are moving forward and gaining strength, you are gaining eternal victory.

View what’s going on in your life with an eternal perspective. You have a higher calling; you have a greater purpose. Focus on what God is doing in your life. Don’t allow the little irritations to get you off course or distract you from what God has called you to do. Open your heart and mind and allow Him to prepare you for eternity. As you keep an eternal perspective and stay determined to be who God has called you to be you will see His hand moving in your life and you will live as an overcomer now and throughout eternity.

A Prayer for Today

Father in heaven, thank You for placing eternity in my heart. Help me stay focused on things that have eternal value so that I can live to give You glory. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

  1. “It is better to be in the house of mourning than in the house of rejoicing,” said King Solomon. “Teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom,” said King David.
Let us also remember what The Lord Jesus Christ said: “blesses are they that mourn, for they shall be comforted”.

  2. Those who hated levy you have a last chance to reconcile and make friends.Atleast when he is still with us and cant hear or say anything.Bye bye levy you have done your part.

  3. #5 Remain confused. Those who never made peace with LPM when he was still alive will never make peace with him. He’s resting in peace now and the least they can do is to pray to the Almighty God for forginess.

  4. For a change it is good that we have something spiritual on LT. What shall it profit a man if he gains the world and loses his soul.

  5. I ask God to forgive me for having called Levy Cabbage during his early days in office. The man meant well for Zambia

  6. God we pray for the first family and we also pray for our nation. We trust in you for peace and prosperity of Zambia. Unite us now and forever.

May you also help us to decern the personal you have appointed to carry the nation forward from where our president left. Lord we pray this in Jesus’ name Amen.

  7. #8 May I assure you that God is merciful and will not cast away a contrite spirit, we all said bad things about the man but now we begin to realise that he was simply committed to serving his country and making it a better place than he found it when he took office.
The saying “You never miss the water until the well runs dry” has become sad reality.

  8. #10, you are very right many of us not only said bad things about LPM, but we hated him, until when we realised that he mearnt well for the country. This is why I said that LPM was an extra ordinary person. One who started with a lot of enemies hating him for nothing but many became his friend when they later knew him well. It is not easy to make friend whilst in public office but LPM did it. I said the gallant son of the soil did unimaginable things whilst he lived. He touched the untouchables and forgave the unforvable. He was really sent by God show us to go about. When your enemy is hungry give him food and when he is thirsty give him water, that is exactly what LPM did to Sata. MHSRIP

  9. He was a great person who has left a void in our nation that is difficult to feel.Today’s world is full of greed as we saw in the second republic. Now we need to move on but how?Who do we entrust with the greatest job in the nation? We need to put our heads together for this is a trying time for the nation.

  18. I hear LPM saying: I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the LORD the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
