Mambala # 14 LPM was a commander-in-chief of the armed forces and thats the best way of doing it. You wanted them to use a church van with finished tyres? If anything it has to be more than a military parade. Thats the only correct way of doing it an military honour is the greatest one you can give to the highest person in society.
#14 Mwanawasa was a commander in chief of zambia’s armed forces and the army was simply doing its duty. For your info at the airport there was a 21 gun salute, and some ZAF fighter jets first accompanied the french plane when it entered Zambian airspace and then made a fly past during the salute. Its a sign of respect.

LIKE KING DAVID, OUR LATE PRESIDENT HAD INTENTIONS. DAVID WANTED TO BUILD GOD A TEMPLE WHILST OUR PRESIDENT WANTED TO BUILD A PROSPEROUS COUNTRY WHERE THE RULE OF LAW WOULD PREVAIL, WITHOUT CORRUPTION AND WHERE RECONCILIATION, DIALOGUE, SELF SACRIFICE AND HARD WORK WOULD BE THE ORDER OF THE DAY. JUST AS GOD DID NOT ALLOW DAVID TO COMPLETE HIS PLANS, HE SAID NO TO OUR PRESIDENT. GOD HAS

Mambala # 14 LPM was a commander-in-chief of the armed forces and thats the best way of doing it. You wanted them to use a church van with finished tyres? If anything it has to be more than a military parade. Thats the only correct way of doing it an military honour is the greatest one you can give to the highest person in society.
#14 Mwanawasa was a commander in chief of zambia’s armed forces and the army was simply doing its duty. For your info at the airport there was a 21 gun salute, and some ZAF fighter jets first accompanied the french plane when it entered Zambian airspace and then made a fly past during the salute. Its a sign of respect.

FIRST, WE WANT TO EXPRESS OUR HEARTFELT CONDOLENCES TO THE FIRST LADY AND THE BEREAVED FAMILY. FROM THE TIME OF OUR PRESIDENTS ILLNESS WE HAVE NOT CEASED TO MAKE MENTION OF YOU IN OUR PRAYERS. BE ASSURED THAT EVEN IN THIS TIME OF DEEP LOSS WE WILL CONTINUE TO UPHOLD YOU WITH ALL THE SPIRITUAL SUPPPORT NECESSARY.
ON SUCH SOLEMN OCCASSIONS, THE WORD OF GOD PROVES TO BE A SOURCE OF INSPIRATION T
TO US ALL.THE PASSAGE WE HAVE HEARD TODAY CONTAINS THE CHARGE THAT KING DAVID GAVE TO HIS SON SOLOMON TO WHOM HE WAS HANDING THE PATTERN FOR BUILDING THE TEMPLE. IN THIS PASSAGE WE CAN SEE SOME OF THE DECIDING FACTORS WHICH MADE KING DAVID WHAT HE WAS AND WHICH CAN MAKE US IN ZAMBIA WHAT GOD WANTS US TO BE.
LIKE KING DAVID, OUR LATE PRESIDENT HAD INTENTIONS. DAVID WANTED TO BUILD GOD A TEMPLE WHILST OUR PRESIDENT WANTED TO BUILD A PROSPEROUS COUNTRY WHERE THE RULE OF LAW WOULD PREVAIL, WITHOUT CORRUPTION AND WHERE RECONCILIATION, DIALOGUE, SELF SACRIFICE AND HARD WORK WOULD BE THE ORDER OF THE DAY. JUST AS GOD DID NOT ALLOW DAVID TO COMPLETE HIS PLANS, HE SAID NO TO OUR PRESIDENT. GOD HAS
GOD HAS NOT ALLOWED HIM TO FINISH HIS PROGRAMME. NO ONE KNOWS THE REASON WHY. GOD DOES NOT ALWAYS REVEAL HIS DOINGS NOR IS HE OBLIGED TO DO SO, BUT ONE DAY IN THE FUTURE HE WILL GIVE US UNDERSTANDING. WE HAVE THEREFORE, NO OPTION BUT TO ACCEPT HIS DECISION.
YOUR HONOUR, JUST AS KING DAVID HAD A PATTERN FOR GODS TEMPLE, PRESIDENT MWANAWASA’S INTENTIONS WERE BASED ON A PATTERN. WHEN HE STARTED OFF AS PRESIDENT, WE MUST ADMIT THAT WE DOUBTED WHERE HE WAS TAKING US. BUT HE KNEW WHICH WAY TO GO AND TODAY HE HAS LEFT A LEGACY BECAUSE HE HAD A PATTERN TO FOLLOW. I BELIEVE HE MUST HAVE SHOWN THIS PATTERN TO SOMEONE. SOMEONE STANDING HERE KNOWS THE PATTERN AND MUST BE AVAILABLE TO PASS IT ON BEHA
BEHALF OF THE PRESIDENT.
APART FROM HAVING INTENTIONS BASED ON A PATTERN, KING DAVID COLLECTED RESOURCES FOR THE BUILDING OF THE TEMPLE. HE HANDED OVER TO HIS SON HUGE AMOUNTS OF PRECIOUS STONES AND METALS WITH WHICH TO BUILD. PRESIDENT MWANAWASA LIKEWISE SPENT MUCH OF HIS TIME GATHERING WHATEVER RESOURCES THIS COUNTRY NEEDED TO BUILD ON. THESE RESOURCES ARE READILY AVAILABLE TO US TODAY.
WHO THEREFORE WILL TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR SECURING THESE RESOURCES THAT HE LEFT AND ENSURING THAT THEY ARE APPLIED ACCORDING TO THE PURPOSE INTENDED? THERE IS NO NEED FOR US TO WORRY OR HAVE UNDUE CONCERN. JUST AS DAVID HAD A SON, GOD HAS AN ORDAINED SUCCESSOR FOR PRESIDENT MWANAWASA.

OUT OF YOU, THE POLITICAL LEADERS STANDING HERE, IS ONE WHO WILL SUCCEED THE PRESIDENT. WHOEVER YOU ARE, BE ASSURED OF GODS SUPPORT… “IF”. IF ONLY YOU SHALL BE CONSTANT TO DO HIS JUDGEMENTS AND TO KEEP HIS STATUTES. KNOW THE GOD OF LEVY PATRICK MWANAWASA. DO NOT GO AFTER STRANGE GODS OR SEEK THEIR SPIRITUAL SUPPORT. #48 Mildred, niwebo utekanye. Sata is a fighter 4 the pipo. In any case after genuinely reconciling with levy he honestly wanted to mourn the man who served him from demise. Anyone can do that. Even I can do that-following the funeral whereever it is being paraded. One thing pipo do not understand is that Sata almost died. Icikalipa cumfwa umwine-so Sata felt or smelled death. Thats why he quickly came back to reconcile with Levy even overruling his vise’s (Dr Guy Scott) prior utterances.

Thanx LT, finally I feel releaved after seing the pictures of the funeral procession and ofcourse as a true Zambian woman, after shedding a tear. No 112, its hard to be anywhere on earth, the only safe place is heavens, as long as u are still breathing, suffering is the word, whether rich or poor, if anything most rich people have no sleep, so watever SUFFERING means to u, u need to research and the bible would be one of of ur best search tools or maybe ur movements around the world are restricted due to circumstances beyond ur control?

Its been a solemn moment for us here in zambia but LEVY will be honoured and remembered if the next kateka will follow his foot steps. As a journalist, my take is that LEVY championed Press Freedom which saw the birth of many private radio and tv stations.
