President Rupiah Banda has appointed and sworn in MMD founder member Borniface Kawimbe as Luapula Province Minister.
Swearing in Dr. Kawimbe, President Banda urged the new provincial Minister to pay special attention to the development needs of the province.
He said Luapula Province has great economic potential which should be fully exploited for the benefit of the people.
Dr Kawimbe replaces Chrispine Musosha who was recently transferred to the Ministry of Local Government and Housing as Deputy Minister.
President Rupiah Banda has also appointed and sworn in State House Legal Advisor Darlington Mwape as Zambia’s Ambassador and Permanent Representative to Geneva – Switzerland.
President Banda urged Mr Mwape to use his vast legal experience to effectively represent the country in Geneva.

Darlington Mwape and Maureen Mwanawasa have been known to be going out for a long time. This is not news. They do not deserve any respect at all. Darlington was removed from state house because of that behaviour and Maureen was almost divorced by LPM. These first ladies are not properly looked after in the bedrooms because their husbands are busy attending to national duties.
Darlington is Musungu Village represenative in both Mwanawasa and RB MMD Governments. Zambia is under Chiluba’s third term option B through chaps like Darlington who was incharge of superving looting of oil sector in Mwanawasa state house. He is now going to coordinate his bosses finances that they schemed from the oil sector. RB people know all this, and such moves by you are just exposing the role of you son in this scam. Remember there is court case by a South Africa Bank claiming $77 million from Zambia. Ask your son how well your him and Darlington are connected to this issue.
