The opposition Patriotic Front (PF) has described 2008 as a ‘sad year’ for Zambia, particularly without the services of departed President Levy Mwanawasa.

And the PF has urged Zambians to put God in front as they reflect this year-ending and begin to digest workable solutions to lift the country to high esteem in 2009.

PF Spokesperson, Given Lubinda, condemned to strongest terms the 10-day holiday taken by the republican President, Rupiah Banda, who is in Mfuwe, Eastern Province.

Mr. Lubinda requested Zambians to resist temptation exhibited by President Banda to spend huge sums of what he termed  ‘public resources’ with the First family holidaying in Mfuwe when the country is at cross roads economically.

Mr. Lubinda sympathised with the Zambians to remain steadfast and pray to God in this trying moments, saying the Rupiah regime is not forth trusting and promising to deliver.

He charged that the Head of State is allegedly using tax-payers money with his family when millions of Zambians are wallowing in hunger and also miners on the Copperbelt have lost their employment.

“Shame on President Rupiah and his MMD party who are reaping the tax-payers money. Its a scandle for Mr. Rupiah to go on holiday when the country is faced with a lot of challenges of meali-meal and job losses on the Copperbelt. We in the PF would like to appeal to the Zambian people to reflect on Christmas, remain steadfast in this trying moments and resist the Rupiah regime,” Mr. Lubinda said.

President Banda left for Mfuwe yesterday on a 10-day holiday. The Head of State is expected back to state House in Lusaka on January 2, 2009.

  1. Yes we have lost one fo the greatest men in Zambia LEVY and we have leaders who keep guessing on the future of our lovely nation.

  2. There is everything right about taking a holiday; it’s healthy. And wow, it seems like Mfuwe is so good a place for holiday. By God the grace, I will take a holiday to Mfuwe when I return to Zed with my family 5 of us -no grand children

  3. Lubinda let Banda enjoy his holiday have you as a leader even thot of donating an ounce of tax payers money u earn to the underprivileged this festive season i dont think so to me you and Banda are no different so just shut up!

  4. It’s awards time;
Most Unbelievable and luckiest Award goes to RB
Most Unfortunate Politician Award goes to MCS
Smile Group Award goes to Ronnie,Mulo,VJ,Chilu and Chungu **==

  5. Teta in this photo looks like some normal person. But i bet this guy is insane to the core and know how to make even normal people start to behave like the way he is mad.

  6. #5 SANTA. ANY PARENT WITH HIS/HER BRAIN IN THE RIGHT PLACE WOULDN’T TAKE A HOLIDAY WHEN HIS ENTIRE HOUSE IS FACING STURVATION. FACT IS RUPIA’s GOVT IS ON PICNIC. HE JUST BECAME A PRESIDENT. HAS HE WORKED ENOUGH TO DESERVE A HOLIDAY? ANYWAY, LET THEM BE ON A PERPETURAL HONEY MOON AND PLUNDER TAX PAYERS’ MONEY. 3 YEARS IS TOO SHORT.

  7. Kwati pali holiday balelilapo ba Lubinda. The holiday is as same as working. He is on 24hrs communication. That atmosphere is good for planning. Nomba ba Lubinda ninshi teti mwebele ba Sata ukukana onaula tax payers money kuma by elections when u know surely that new MPs wont bring nay changes in 1 and half years they will sit in parliament. A lot of Zambians are suffering. Chiwamina gari kuruma mbuzi. Zambians pliz look for pipo wth real issues. Issues affecting Zambians.

  8. The problem is that we have CHEAP politicians in Zambia. What is wrong with the president going on holiday? Ba PF do not think that you are patriotic!! If anything, you are the most UNPATRIOTIC. Why then are you EXPELLING 16 MPS who were voted by the people??

Just because he goes on holiday, the money in Zambia will not finish. He needs to refresh just like any worker at one time or another goes on holiday.

For some people, they see no good in whatever the president does. If Sata was president, he would still be going for holidays. NO EXCUSES please!!

  9. Yes!! It should be a SAD year for PF because they lost presidential elections…. Thank God we are saved by rural Zambia from Sata and his friends.

  10. I find nothing wrong with RB taking a holiday during this festive period. I however dont support his claim that the lowering of the fuel price is as a result of the efforts of his administration. It is CHEAP POLITICS

  11. I almost forgot that retreats are necessary from time to time. Everyone including Lubinda know that in the second week of January RB will have to address the nation through Parliament to set out the plan of how we get out of the current world economic crisis. To do this he needs peace and quiet from people like Sata and Lubinda whoose only reason for living is to harrass RB.

  12. Well hope Rupiah is strategising on how to govern the country not only watching elephants.I like Lubinda as he is one of the principled politicians around and gives hope to the young ones who would like to join politics.

  13. Its time to go to be baka boke, What holiday afwile ukukwata, mwe fipuba mwe? I hope your families balelya ubwali noti mango. Shame on you na chi Rupia cenu.

  14. 20
Remind them that ni chi Rupiah chabo mweee. These people are dull as Sata says, they think that RB when he goes on holiday it is the same as we go for holidays. The company pays you and then you use your money to buy and pay for what you use. RB when he goes on holiday uses govt money and he is even paid for being head of state. So can you see how costly it is to look after someone like him. So he needs to work extra hard and not just doze all the time. Worst still the guy has gone with his entire village and clan.

  15. N0 22 Kwindi. A Presidentis never really on holiday. He still receives daily intelligence briefs and at a time such as this one receives reports on key sectors such as energy, agriculture and the economy. Wherever the President goes he still is working 24 hours.

  16. Read the tributes people wrote that LEVY was something special. Particularly read the reflections on Dr. Levy Mwanawasa and you will know why we argue that SATA is nothing for Zambia’s leadership. That article was written by somebody who has taught a lot of Zambian managers and has worked with most Zambians in different capacities. Ignore him and Zambia will never learn from Levy’s approach to leadership.

  17. While RB is entitled to a working holiday, I think the timing is wrong. RB needs to win the confidence of the people and its at times like this one that he should have sacrificed the holiday for dedicated office routine aimed at solving the problems people are facing. Here is what wrong about the holiday:

    1. RB has been in office barely three months
    2. Economical turmoil has forced mines to close and over 1500 jobs have been lost
    3. Majority of the rural population is facing starvation
    4. Commodity prices have sky rocketed

Someone would argue that he will still be working, but morally it is wrong because a holiday is a holiday. How could you go enjoying when so many things are wrong.

  18. Why are we afraid of consulting? kK will never be jealous of RB. Go to him and consult. What is wrong with that? Zambians, if you are doing something right for the country do it whole heatedly. Your Children and other extended family members may suffer if you do things wrongly. Watch it, can you employ any of Chiluba’s Children? I wouldn’t because they are not educated and have no manners and I am not alone in sayingg this. Chiluba killed his children when he allowed them to insult Zambians who elected him as president. Do you want to subject your family to such lunacy? Chiluba is a liunatic we need to stop.

  19. This RB is loose change from a pool of leaders. If we all took ten days off after working for 50 days, what Zambia are we gunner bequeath our childrens’ children. Yes, its XMAS and he might be elligible for a holiday, not when the country is steep deep in a qaugmire of unimaginable consequences. This guy is a phony. He claims victory for a battle never fought.

  20. Me I am just looking for a husband. I don’t care about Rupiah. I have looked everywhere, even in America to no avail. Where are the real men? There are many women in my position but they are shy. I cannot afford to be shy. Women we need to speak out.

  21. WHAT IS TO “DESCIBES” IS THIS A NEW TERMINOLOGY IN ENGLISH? I FELT SHAME WHEN MY CANADIAN FRIEND WAS ASKING ME WHETHER THE WORD WAS BOROWED FROM ONE OF THE ZAMBIAN LANGUAGES. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME TO SEE SUCH SILLY SPELLING MISTAKES ON LT BLOG.WHO OWNS LUSAKA TIMES?

  22. Ba Ivy,Approach Sata.He is well versed in polgamous matters.
He has spaced his wives all over Lusaka,Kabwata,Nipa,Chudleigh and possibly London if you live abroad.

  23. Hopefully in the coming year we will see more sober and constructive politics from our politicians across the board. We as zambians need to demand the best from our leaders. The times require serious leaders who are resolved to make a positive impact on the welfare of our people and who strive to push africa into a new dispensation on the world scene. The current crisis and the ambition of China and India et al being an opportunity to gain some ground on the traditional powers.Africa requires leaders with a unified voice and revolutionary ideas this century.God bless Africa and Merry christmas to all. Mucwani bo Makweti. L’sali teni

  24. I AGREE WITH 31 IN CANADA. This blog is full of poor grammar. Santa elf knows nothing about punctuation, True democrat cannot spell Lunatic, and Makweti cannot spel POLYGAMOUS. “Anonymous” is one of the worst cases – What is QAUGMIRE and GUNNER?

  25. I believe the spelling errors are human just like you did not spell SPELL correctly and 31 did not spell BORROWED correctly. Now with that aside let us find issues that are intellectually challenging and that strive to bring the best from one another. The standard of spelling even in the west is not impressive I guess it is the times!

  26. Sata and Lubinda, have expelled those rabel Mps? If u did so then fine. If they try to apply for an injunction for them not to be expelled plz go for it and defend your decision in supreme court. We are suffering now bcoz of them support RB. Shame!

  27. How do you expect President Rupiah Banda to deliver when he is surrounded by a team of very poor advisors like chi Tetamashimba and others ? The world and Zambia in particular is undergoing the most difficulty period ever with a lot of challenges and it is time when certain programmes like going on holiday MUST be cancelled. Please, fellow countrymen, let us wake up and join hands to frankly tell this administration that things are not going in the right direction thus, it is time to work hard and put things in order.

  28. I am informed he went with the first lady (with the two kids), and then his two big sons, with their wives and their children….GIVE ME A BREAK!!!!!!!!!!

  29. Given Lubinda is a man of high calibre. He cant be compared to the parasite Upnd mps who are at the NCC.Milking the national treasury cow, they will do so until blood starts to come out. Lubinda is one of the few mps who have a heart for the poor Zambians. Ba upnd nibakwalola umwela!

  30. Rubbish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!He has brought the country to utmost shame.Frankly speaking, sata is not an option. You gonna need me to do the work.

  31. You people who are justifying RB,s holiday in Mfuwe. Are you oke in your Medula oblangaters? Even in a company set up,the MD goes for a holiday after seeing how succefull the company has been. It has made huge profits and everything is oke. Has RB performed?there are so many problems in the country and him leaves for leisure in Mfuwe. And when you say that there is a wonderfull at mosphere there for him to plan properly,do you know what you are talking about? How is he going to plan when he went there with a lot of people his big and small children, the in laws and grand children who will just be making noise crying that side.Lets be serious guys!

  32. Culture am gud thanks so much. Happy christmas to everyone on the blogg.Cutey dont drink too much wine please. Take care of yourself. I love you all!

  37. Ba Livingstone ukusabaila.Kwati ka twishi! You are just busy making noise about your HH,even when you know that he cant go anywhere.

  38. LT, it is mealie meal please, not meali meal. What kind of reporters/editors run this blog or is it ZANIS with its atrocious standards?

  39. Last year when the economy started unravelling in the UK, Gordon Brown who was ne in office cancelled his holiday. This year he departed from his predecessor’s ways of taking holidays in the Caribbean. He went to Brighton, a few miles from London. This is leadership, not the Nyamaz type.

  40. Ba LT please, you are embarrassing us us.Ama spellings ninshi kanshi so? Ba Nevers ako Kanono hw are you? Compliments of the season my bro!

  48. 2008 has indeed been a sad year for Zambia. Economically we have taken huge backward strides while the political scene is still a circus. If there is one positive outcome, it must be that we are closer to revuolution than ever before.

  56. RB HAS GONE FOR A WORKING HOLIDAY FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO ARE ABUNDANTLY IGNORANT. HE HAS PARLIAMENT TO ADDRESS.HE HAS NOT FINISHED APPOINTING BRILLIANT ZAMBIANS IN STRATEGIC POSITIONS. HE HAS TO CONSULT ALOT OF PEOPLE ABOUT THE SITUATION IN THE COUNTRY. HE HAS TO ASK HIS FAMILY TO GIVE HIM MAXIMUM SUPPORT GIVEN HIS NEW ROLE.HE NEEDS TIME WITH HIS YOUNGER CHILDREN AND SHOW THEM THE LOVE OF GIVING DURING XMAS AND NEW YEAR. HE WILL BE MEETING ALOT OF VIPs FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD.HE IS ALSO MARKETING TOURISM IN THAT WAY.
HIS OLDER CHILDREN AND THEIR WIVES AND CHILDREN ARE ON A SEPERATE ARRANGEMENT!

  59. PF SUPPORTERS, IT IS NOT SURPRISING THAT YOUR LEADER SATA HAS EXPELLED HIS OWN MPs. THAT IS HOW THE MAN IS-A DICTATOR.WHAT KIND OF A CATHOLIC CHRISTAIN IS HE? IS THAT LEADERSHIP? HE BEHAVED THE SAME WAY WHEN HE WAS IN MMD BY ENGINEERING THE EXPLUSION OF THE FAMOUS 22 OVER THE THIRD TERM BID WITH HIS CHILUBA. FOR NOW HE IS THE ONE GOING TO CAUSE WASTEFUL EXPENDITURE ON BYE ELECTIONS ALL IN THE NAME OF POLITICAL EXPEDIENCY! SHAME!

  60. I FOR ONE REFUSE THE NOTION THAT WE ZAMBIANS ARE WALLOWING IN POVERTY WHEN WE HAVE ALOT OF RESOURCES! ITS CHAPS LIKE # 127 AND HIS THINKING WHO ARE WALLOWING IN KNOWLEDGE POVERTY! 61. 131. ZAMBIANA, I like you facts on “…IT IS NOT SURPRISING THAT YOUR LEADER SATA HAS EXPELLED HIS OWN MPs. THAT IS HOW THE MAN IS-A DICTATOR.WHAT KIND OF A CATHOLIC CHRISTAIN IS HE? IS THAT LEADERSHIP? HE BEHAVED THE SAME WAY WHEN HE WAS IN MMD BY ENGINEERING THE EXPLUSION OF THE FAMOUS 22 OVER THE THIRD TERM BID WITH HIS CHILUBA.”

  62. Am a professor at Lundi University heading the structural engineering section,am in patnership with Sweco a consulting firm based in Stockholm, Sweden.I make money more than an average zambian.I can meet all your bills, and put all your family tree and members on social welfare, plus pay them a pension of exponential 3 of what you got.I dont need to brag of what I have done for zambia, its set in the records.Sorry to tell you that what you have listed as your achievements is nothing, probably my daughter has contributed more than you have done.you are local,am international.
    Goodday

  63. #28 the true democrat. just rubbish your ideas about kk. kk is a lop-sided chap. kk is not one to consult on the politics of zambia. he will always say its only his son who is fit to be president, apart from rb. so, just forget about that chap, kk. by the way when is zambia going to learn to use our universities (free of charge) for consultations on issues such as science and technology, politics, economics, etc. the first world countries do it.

  64. I feel there is something prophetic about the death of our late president Dr. Levy Patrick Mwanawasa SC.
Could the following be mere coincidence?

    • The late president had 3 names – Levy, Patrick, Mwanawasa.
    • He was born on the 3rd day of September 1948, which was;
    • 3 months before the end of that year of birth.

  65. Cont• He died on the 3rd day of the week: Tuesday 19th August He worked in 3 governments (KK, Chiluba and his).
    • 3 years after he worked with Chiluba, he resigned.
    • Our late president was Zambia’s 3rd Republican president.
    • Our late president was in Egypt only for 3 days before he was flown to France.

  66. Cont• 3 years before ending his last term.
    • 3 weeks was set aside as period of national mourning.
    • 3 days after his death, Chipolopolo played a friendly match against a German team and won 3 goals to Zero.
    • When his death was announced, a team of 3 delagates was sent to France to accompany his body back home. (Gabriel Namulambe, Patricia Mulasikwanda, Kabinga Pande).

  67. Cont• In honour of receiving his body, 3 security wings were assigned: ZAF, ZNS, Zambia Army.
    • In this year of our late president’s death, a set of triplets was born in Chibolya compound named after our 3 presidents. The 3rd of these children was named after our late president.
    • The constitution provides that within 3 months presidential bye-elections must be held to replace the vacancy created by his death.

  68. planet mars, that man was heavenly sent, someone also prophesied his demise, that the flag of zambia will flyover. Its like the jesus period for zambia is over its now …….

  69. Cont• The person that takes over this top job will only govern for 3 years before the next presidential elections in 2011.
    • The time that was set aside for body viewing in each of the provincial capitals (except Lusaka) was 3 hours.
    • In Lusaka body viewing for the public was done for 3 days.
    • He was buried on the 3rd of September, 2008.
. He had 3 Children from his 1st marriage and 3 from his 2nd

  70. These could just be a few of so many coincidences of the number 3. The question is whether these situations happened as a coincidence or God would like us to see beyond the death of our late president Levy Patrick Mwanawasa SC.

May his soul rest in eternal peace .

  71. Three means completion.Son,father and holy spirit. The God head.It means perfection.he was the perfect president for a nation like zambia. His legacy will live on.

  72. #139, 140. We Africans are so behind in everything because of too much belief in superstion. Don’t be so superstitious about someone’s death. Zambia has a lot of problems yet to be solved. Waste your time thinking about solutions and not being engrossed in someone who is no longer living on the expense of productivity. I am sorry about that. But, lets move on and stop trying to extract spilt milk from sand.

  73. #147,the solution for our crisis starts by understanding who was mwanawasa and why was he so unique. His thinking and goals, calibre and personality, thats what the next presisdent should emulate, or my be simulate or model.

  74. 146.conscious. Add more my friend. We are just analyising some coincidences not being superstitious as PUT by 147(Peter) who denied JESUS 3 times. Mind you this is his birth day!!!

  75. Some of these useless prophecies, yaba.

Matthew 24 + KJV HOLY BIBLE

24:1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to [him] for to shew him the buildings of the temple.

24:2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

24:3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what [shall be] the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

24:4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

  76. #153 continued.

24:11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

24:12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
    =========================================================

BUT HE THAT SHALL ENDURE UNTO THE END, THE SAME SHALL BE SAVED. Amen. Thank our God, the Creator (John 1:1-3 and Hebrews 1: 8) of the universe and everything in it, for giving us truth (John 1:14 and 17:17- Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth).

John 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

  77. Gdef

I haven’t heard of Lundi University. Perhaps you mean Lund University. Your spelling and sentence construction belies your lofty professorial status. By the way, are you Swedish? They don’t have a Zambian on their faculty…

  78. GRZ when are you going to say THANK YOU to president Hakainde Hichilema who wrote President RB Banda containing ways of improving our limping economy. It is sad to note that the Kwacha currency rate to the US Dollar has now surpassed or is about to where former President Chiluba left it with us in 2011.

Let us learn to say thank you any help that comes our way. After all, the MMD GRZ is the one that requested for help from the opposition with solutions to the Global/National Financial Crises that we are facing as Zambians and Zambia.

  79. “The Opposition Patriotic Front has written to the Speaker of the National Assembly Amusaa Mwanamwambwa, requesting him to declare the parliamentary seats of the 16 defiant Members of Parliament vacant.
The PF argues that the expelled MPs on December 14th 2007 commenced legal proceedings in the Lusaka High Court against the party.
According to the letter sent to Mr. Mwanamwambwa and signed by PF deputy General Secretary, Chileshe Mulenga and obtained by Muvi TV today, the defiant MPs in December 2007 withdrew their membership from the party by stopping their monthly contributions.”

  80. Above continued.
“Dr. Mulenga says following the MPs’ action the PF Central Committee resolved to accept their decision not to continue to be PF members.
He noted that the MPs in question continued to perform their functions under the protection from the court pending the determination of the matter.
Dr. Mulenga however says the high court on Monday 22nd December this year handed down a ruling in which it discharged the interim order of injunction.”
Since this is a good move by PF, please the UPND write those expelled 16 MPs letter to join the U-Team as soon as possible so that you can campaign with them in the areas they have been MPs.Vote =; for a sensible group of trustworthy leaders.

  81. Too much moaning on this site.

Since we know everything about everything, perhaps we should formulate a plan for saving the country.

I await suggestions from the wise.

  82. OK,but with all these ‘great minds’ we have gathered here, perhaps an NGO might be an alternative. After all, Governments do not run the world. We could achieve more for Zambia by supporting the country through viable, well funded and well executed projects. If, as those who have been posturing above, we can amass finances, knowledge, expertise and passion for the health and well being of the average Zambia, then surely we can achieve much more than sitting in the shadows and throwing stones. The KK foundation is doing great things. Why can we not emulate that as a group and get together to achieve something viable. Sitting around punching keys on our computers is helping no one, or is it?

  83. [-( indeed this has been a very sad year for zambia. The weak hearted would even ask if God really cares for us, forgeting we are reaping the consequenses of our actions.
-How do you explain the pain being experienced home with job losses and rising prices of commodities due to weakening Kwacha?
    – A president who with all honesty declares He has single handedly reduced the prices for fuel and Mealiemeal, when the price of fuel on the world market and in all countries except Zmbabwe has experienced fuel price cuts? Are we that dull?

  84. 167. Jaroph, you wrote “Sitting around punching keys on our computers is helping no one, or is it?”

Sitting around is on our not helping anyone properly but responses with some information from this blog have been heard or read from some stakeholders.

Your plan is welcome, but make sure there will be not thieves to be in control of the money to be used in Zambia – by those with longhands looking at Zambians’ records of court cases.

I wish you the very best in your concern and endeavour though.

  85. Jaroph, NGO’s are not the solution. Infact they perpetuate the culture of dependency. Instead We must go establish profit making, tax paying companies

  86. Agreed, I was thinking of starting a new NGO not necessarily on the same platform as the existing NGOs. Yes, I would support a company or charitable organisation, as long, as you rightly point out, it is founded on sound, verifiable principles and it is run on a mandate that fuels efficiency, clarity and transparency in its operations.

  87. Thank you Maestro, but does this venture not appeal to you? You seem to be counting yourself out before a seed has been bought!

  88. #174 I am afraid giving out an email address on this medium may just create a gold rush. I have a ficticious email address which both of you can send your contact details and then i can link you up

  89. WE WILL SEE THEM BY THERE FRUITS! HERE COMES BANDA NA BANANKWE!
Am elderly person is rightly wrong, Banda is old and yet to make so many mistakes that will bringthe country to level zero.

  90. Well said Somarai Pilate! Never divulge email addresses on public forums people.

Hope you’re a Psychologist Paul Law because if No.30 is a woman and she is serious,I would suggest she is need of a Psychologist more than a husband.

There was a story about issues in Choma here not so long ago, with women seeking husbands on a Truckers overnight stop. This place is not the virtual equivalent of that rendezvous point.

If you need a husband, God has already assigned one to you. All you have to do is be patient, unless you wish to pick up misery.

  91. #155 thats a swedish pronounciation, does that surprise you that am a professor, i mean its no big deal, just become an academician. For your own info my english is not that good,i have a natural propensity to numbers,I hope that digs you,am a permanent resident of sweden since 1976.

  92. Gdef Here is no place for dictatorship. Take it to Zimbabwe or Guinea Conakry. In Zabia we have freedom of speech, so don’t scare people!!!

  93. Ddef, are you certain the chap you are having a spat with is beneath you, or are just making an assumption based upon your status…and the wealth you so eloquently allude to above? That being the case, why waste your energy responding to the taunts – surely as a mathematician you know that the probability of achieving anything worthwhile by doing so is zero!

  94. 173. Jaroph, you asked “Thank you Maestro, but does this venture not appeal to you?”

I am not counting myself out yet, but I hope you will do a good job to make sure thieving characters will not hijack your good intentions. I will watch from afar though if my services are needed I will be glad to help.

So, inform me of the progress on it as you get along.

  95. 180 and 181 Gdef, impressive. I might visit you one day at Lund(i) University. I think it would be great learning stuff from big men like you.

Have a great day, Sir. #-o

  96. Zambia is not poor but mismanaged and misruled. We need to Organized to bring in Real Leadership from Parliament to Plot 1 in 2011

  97. Gentleman and ladies, fellow country men and women, this is our time and this is our moment. Support the only true leadership for 2011 and that is only the U-Team with a manifesto that late Mwanawasa and alive Magande tried to use in bringing Zambia to some sane level as an economy and Nation.

Since this is our time and moment as Zambians, let us make sure we help in getting the young and energetic president Hakainde Hichilema to become President of our great Nation, Zambia.

    I would have loved to stand as Zambian presidential candidate in 2011, but I have commitments right now. I am considering doing so in 2016. I have already secured some support from non-Zambians of all forms. =;

  98. Spot on #189. The man needs as rest so that he can think properly and also reflect on what is happening to and around him.

Continued pressure may maek him perform on average or even cause him to think that he is just dreaming that he is our President.

Tha man needs a full realisation that it is true that now he is our Zambian president and so a rest for him is cardinal. :-s

  99. hey dark knight,if that’s true then my judgement of that book (RB) which i carry out via it’s cover (LT usually doesn’t paste my judgement because they probably consider it too explicit) are true.i would have written them for you but if i do you probably won’t even see this.if it’ll help you,i’m not UPND but i lean towards HH’s view of RB.keep blogging.just hope the batman suite won’t wear you down!

  100. its not true that this 10 day break will give RB chance to reflect and forecast. how for heavens sake can he do it when he has taken along his 2 sons, their wives and grand children. At least if it was only Thandi and the twins. Do you think Nenani and James will pay their bills? these men are above 40 yet our children cease to enjoy the privillages when the are above 18. Shame!!!!:(

  101. The presidents timing was wrong. Nothing wrong with him taking a break. I would like to see a situation where our politicians would make sacrifices for the sake of the country. People, are you aware of how expensive it is for the president to travel. Imagine, the whole clan going for a holiday.

    I am officially confused.

  102. #189&#190,icant believe you are in support of that nonsence when the country is faced with critical callenges.he is using govt funds when pipo are staving.dont you think he should have subcidised ubunga so that pipo can have something to eat?think twice before you write coz you up setting some of us.

  103. #190 how will the man rest when he has taken along his whole clan – of 2 sons over 40 years, their wives, grandchildren etc. its different if he would have gone with his wife and little kids but bene Nenani! pure abuse of power. See Dec 24 page 4 Daily Mail and not the POST. This family of more than 10 is disembarking from a Zambia Airforce Jet. Is it that they have chartered this plane? When Millions of Zambians are starving, miners losing jobs, cholera outbreaks…. did the President have to rest? Indeed this holiday is IMMORAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  104. Zambian leaders should know when to take a hoilday or not.The great thing that the leader should know is that.
Am a leader of the people, so i need to provide service to the majority.

I pray to God to give us leaders who will provide service to the people of Zambia.
I know that Zambia will oneday have people , who will suffer with the people.
Youths i have a vision . that oneday we will have Youths leaders who will speak for us.
Am one of the Youth leader who is preparing to offer Leadership to Zambia.

May God help us be great-leaders.

    Thank you.

  105. He was gunning the engine and assuming that other drivers were envying him, his flash motor and his fast-paced lifestyle.

So yes Wild – Blue is available for gaming it just depends on what system you are
looking to access through Wild – Blue. In the San Francisco area there were many
venues promoting spectacular musical events such as the Avalon ballroom, the Fillmore East and
the Fillmore West (just to mention a few).
