Zain Zambia  officially handed over one of the Toyota corollas in the on going Abaleya Zain promotion to the Lusaka based winner last Saturday.

Eunice Maloni from Lusaka’s Ballastone won the car in the second draw of the three months promotion.

Officially handing over the vehicle Zain Zambia Marketing director Evans Muhanga congratulated the winner of the car and urged other Zain subscribers to continue texting into the promotion.

‘The prizes are real and the winners are real and the only secret is sending the word Zain to 4111. We have moved a step further from the studio hand over of keys to providing necessary papers in the owners name, this should serve as proof to people that have been doubting the promotion’.

He added that Zain will remain committed to fulfilling its promise to the people of Zambia that of creating a wonderful world.

And speaking when receiving the car Eunice Maloni thanked Zain Zambia for making her dreams come true and empower her and her family with transportation.

‘This should serve as a testimony that Zain means what they say, that the will create a wonderful world for their customers, I am a leaving testimony that people win in this promotion’. She said

She also urged other customers to take part in the promotion and enjoy the amazing prizes Zain is giving.

Three cars of the five on offer have been won in the promotion. Ndola’s Rabecca Nayame won the first one while Malumo Ng’uni of Livinsgtone was the third to drive off the third Toyota Corolla.

Zain is really doing a good job.Now have they rectified the congestion problem and sometimes callin home is difficult on Zain than MTN.With sms its worse, here one can receive but cant reply. Its really frustrating ,Zain.

  2. Rashid

Am ok mwana. Zain is just hoodwinking us boyi. Their services leave much to be desired. For them, its much more of quantity, rather than quality! They need to jack up Mudala.

  3. Sharp Shooter

Am ok mwana. But you are saying Zain is doing a good job, elo udandaula futi? Which is which boyi naiwe?

  4. Zain these are highway robbers, stealing from you while you are looking.Zain you owe me One day Zambians will wake up and fight you sucker.

Ife tauka bwino mwee. Nkhani chabe yo gwilana mumenso ba Zain. Yaba. Tesana mwee. Busy ku pasa tu ma motoka, meanwhile sms ishupa. Niya bwanji? 😕

  7. Ba Moze, i mean ploughing back to the community in form of prizes but the network service is really pathetic to say the least.

  8. Zain improve your network. weekends there is always a crisis. If yoy depend on the phone call direction when travelling out to a town never been, it becomes dangerous cause the network goes off weekends intermittently. Zain do not congest your network as compromises the quality of the service.

  9. Zain’s main interest is hitting the targeted 3million subscribers. Meanwhile nothing is being to done to upgrade their system. The services offered are so pathetic. Just calling 111 is total hell.

    MONING MWE LUPWA

so Zain will recover all wat it is spending on these promotions before 17 feb? mmmmm , this is good economics, are there any risks that they loose out in some aspects?? plaese help……

  11. Kipe Boyi,Zain Makuluku.Baletushinga bata ati baleposako amono ama customers nelyo nakalya.Their history from Zamcell to Celtel and now Zain speaks of nothing but sheer exploitation.

  12. Ba Moze

They outnumber you guys + Most of them have communucations Ministers who credits their phones on a daily basis. So they can afford to even send a 1000 texts a day!

  13. ya bt iyi zain yena ya chabe chabe, neshina linee u cant even know nga ni communication company, zamcell yali fye bwino mwe,nga ni pa new year pena i cldn’t even wish my family compliments of the season,u can imagine everyone i knew was out side coverage area on zain, while the few on MTN,i was able to talk to them..calling home is like a casino, its jst try your luck zoona.anyway congratulations to the luck winners.

  14. Baby C,
hahaha, kwena wansekesha mwandi, mwandi nu sosa ichishinka,bt then i wld advise these same girls with communication minister’s to advise amatumba yabo aya air tym,,because if these same communication ministers dnt do something abt the congestion on zain, they will start failing to get thru ama fone yatu magelo utu twiinee, and then bakasanga ba guy nabasenda, ala mwandi ba guy ba lizanda.[-(

  15. Kiswa

Its good to some extent. But i suggest that every subscriber be entered automatically once they top up! K400 per sms is way too expensive!

  16. Ba Mwisho,Ba moze

True! Some even go as far as having 3 or 4 ministries, to look in their welfare! E.g , Transport, Home affairs, Finance etc!

  17. Ma mwinsho you are lying. Peharps mwikala mubwendo then you want the network to follow you. By the way you guys have you noticed that the quality has improved since December last year? I haven’t had any problem for quite sometime. These days am experiencing first attempt i get through, its clear and no more congestion. To Zain big up. Keep doing all the great stuff in the community. As for those who say we are paying for the bus, i would rather pay for the bus and someone wins it than pay and not have anyone get anything. Great initiative from Zain.

  18. Evelyn King.

Iam so sorry my comment on #44 I was refering to namayo the director of Tourism please that comment it was not for you.Hope you understand, but all the same I think I was also wrong to call the Director on tourism ati namayo.

  19. ZAIN IS DOING A GOOD THING BUYING CARS FOR POOR ZAMBIANS.
BUT THEY SHOULD KNOW THAT WE DESERVE MORE THAN THAT.
WHAT THEY REAP ARE MILLIONS MY FELLOW ZAMBIA DON’T BE DECEIVED THESE ARE GETTING ALL OUR FOREX

  20. I have been participating ukwamba win a house,a farm even this abaleya competition or should i say all competitions i have never won anything nangufye ka ttym ka 1000 pin nothing.Ninshi yaba shani kanshi?

  21. #49 What are you talking about? We need to look at these things holistically. Companies that are not getting the FOREX are closing. Do you realize that the folding of Zambian Airways outrightly means all of its 240 employees not to mention suppliers now need new jobs? Zain maybe reaping millions but look at how many people they have employed (800) and look at what they have pumped in the community. How many companies can boast of such a profile? Let’s be serious with the things we say. Agreed Zain may not have been at its best but truth of the matter is that the network quality has improved, lets not wish them bad (be careful what you wish for…)

  22. #50- Not everyone who takes part in a lottery wins. Your time will come just like those who have one have had their time come. Just keep sending them texts. I am also a patient customer one day i know i will win.

  23. Bufi ubo ba zain have they made a profit for them to start those competetions they are trying to woodwink the public believe that they are doing something jst want to win custom CHEERS

  24. I agree with most fellow bloggers that Zain needs to work on the network. Its pathetic. I haven’t been able to send even sms’ to Zambia leave alone calling. Being in Kenya, I have also been wondering as to why Zambia is not on the list of 12 African countries where one can use same Zain line without changing. HAs anyone from Zain have an answer for this or you LT and fellow bloggers

So community service and marketing is the only answer a proper success of a company anywhere in the world. Why havent we seen such from Zamtel, a parastatal company? Is it because jealous or what?
The Holy Scriptures record that blessed is the hand that gives than the one that takes.
Indeed there is a lot still to learn from the scriptures and put into practice if we hope to be successful in this life and the later one promised in the Bible.
Great stuff Zain and keep well.
