There is still my $8.5 million in ZAMTROP account, Chiluba

Share

Second Republican President Frederick Chiluba says that there is still $8.5 million in the Zamtrop account which belongs to him. He said this today when he was winding up his defence in a case where he is accused of plundering national resources.

Dr Chiluba testified that three audit firms that audited the Zamtrop account established that there was an outstanding amount of $52 million out of which $43 million belonged to the state.

Dr. Chiluba said auditors who included Price waterhouse Coopers and Grant Thorntorn confirmed that the $8.5 million belonged to him.

The former President started his defence on Tuesday before Ndola high court deputy registrar Jones Chinyama who is sitting as a magistrate in Lusaka.

Dr. Chiluba’s lawyers asked for an adjournment of the case to February 9, to enable the defence bring ten witnesses.

The former president together with Mr. Kabwe and Mr. Chungu is accused of stealing public funds amounting to $500 million.

And yesterday Dr Chiluba said his heart breaks when people say he did nothing for Zambia during his tenure of office.

The former president testified that he has done a lot for the country citing the empowerment policy in which sitting tenants were sold houses at what he called give-away prices.

Dr. Chiluba said he managed to create a middle class in Zambia which never existed since independence through his policies.

The former head of state also testified that it was NOT true that he woke late president Mwanawasa from sleep to adopt him as MMD presidential candidate.

He said to the contrary, he was written to by the late Mwanawasa to be considered for the MMD presidency ahead of the 2001 elections.

Dr. Chiluba testified further that he gave Dr. Mwanawasa K600 Million and three motor vehicles for his campaign trail using money from private sources and well-wishers.

And Dr. Chiluba disclosed that $1 Million was spent by the MMD to buy a building called Black Velvet in Lusaka where the party intended to be accommodated.

  1. Maestro here is another one. Please ask those UNZA students to find out how much this “tool” got in allowances and everything.

  2. “Dr. Chiluba said auditors who included Price waterhouse Coopers and Grant Thorntorn confirmed that the $8.5 million belonged to him.”

HOW MUCH COMMISSION DID GRANT THORTORN GET FRON THE COPPER DEAL?

  3. In 10 years Dr.Chiluba could have accrued so much money.
Zambian let us raise up and konw the truth,Chiluba has alot of money.
He told us to tighten our belts, and yet he was busy putting money in the Zamtrop account.
Let him account for every pin .Period

  4. Chiluba probably has $10 million because if you add all the interest that has bee gained. Usually when money is accrued it is still subject to interest that the audit firms have a duty to pay back.

  5. Okay this beats any logic! So how much was his salary and how was he able to save this much money? While he’s at it can he also reveal who the benefactors are and why they decided to give him that much money? The man is digging his grave deeper than the required 6 feet! ‘you can’t the anointed, my A@#!’

  6. Have mercy on Chiluba.FTJ dont worry am behind you it shall be well with you.you did something wrong yes but you are forgiven. Mupeleni na $8.5m please, achula pafula.

  7. where did the little man get the $8.5million from?If however as he says it was given to the party,May he be reminded that he is not the party, So the money should belong long to MMD.

  8. whats the point off these thieves being arrested then few days later they are out on bail!! Musonda paid 75MILLION CASH AS Bail, singogo paid 50million cash as bail.

  9. LT, I heard the news, he said that all Audit firms confirmed that there was 8.5 million dollars from other sources and not HIS per se. Do not sound like the banned POST. The question is who was entitled to make use of this extra ZAMTROP fund in the account? Was it GRZ, MMD or FTJ? The defense was too short. Lets see what the witnesess bring to the table. However the revelations that the British Govt wanted to bribe FTJ with 10 million pounds over ZCCM sale as a whole to their company and clearing of Levy’s K 300,000 million FRA debt make interesting reading.

  10. The crying and now such ludicrous claims. Please check his mental state. How on earth did he get 8 million dollars? Is he friends with Madoff or was he given by Ben Mwila?

  11. These are great thieves. For heaven’s sake how does one keep personal funds in Zamtrop a/c??? What was the motive??

  12. #25,Shalapungu Banton.I have always liked you, you are such a good brother. But what you said on the other thread was not good. You are one of the people i wouldnt attack no matter what you can say to me.Stay blessed.

  13. I think lets just forgive this man and all his disciples.. We are consuming a lot of time talking about the same unnecessary stories at the expense of other vital developmental programmes. This is not taking us anywhere! Let them be aquitted, but they will definitely be answerable to God.

Call me names, i dont care!

  14. How did the former president amass so much millions of dollars not mentioning zambbian kwacha in just a short period. What kind of business was rewarding him so handsomely. Take him to prison & freeze all his monies twapapata.

  15. The little man must be losing it. If it is personal money why not put it in his personal account? The money either belongs to the state or MMD. The donors should be revealed so that we know the motive behind the donations – smelling bribery and corruption.

  16. Personal funds in a public account? Ebukabwalala ubu bwino – ne nsoni kalibe kangwele! Kakuba naba kazi babene! Jail this thief!

  17. This thief’s Judgment was already in a London court by Judge Smith, what the hell are they doing now in courts. I thought it was just a matter of effecting Smith’s judgement. How judgement are we going to have??? One from London and one from Lusaka, Zambia. Can Someone please elighten me on this??

  18. How i wish these people could respond to our concerns.Dont they read Lusalka time dot com?Yes why put money in zam trop account iwe ka mudala? What happened to personal accounts?I feel like pinching that man.

  19. kabolala you even want to steal $8.5 milliom more.arrest the baggar or we will be making a zmk trillion kwacha.lyk zimbabwe

  20. I quote ” Dr. Chiluba testified further that he gave Dr. Mwanawasa K600 Million and three motor vehicles for his campaign trail using money from private sources and well-wishers.”

One thing that still remains a mystry to me is why LPM never denounced those corrupt funds. I guess we shall never know. Also everybody knows how corrupt Sata is ans I strongly suspect he had LPM’s number and that could explain why LPM never threw him in..I think there is a lot hidden here

  21. This is less than a quarter of what this heartless “tool” s t o l e from Zambians.

    Please send him in!

MMD CHIEFBOOT LICKER waiting for your comment on this one please.

  22. 3RqU

Am the real one dear! Nachumfwa Ichifukushi! These people are taking us for a ride! So i was merely giving them an altenative since they are reluctant to lock up kafupi even when it is obvious that he is a thief.:o)

  23. “The former president testified that he has done a lot for the country citing the empowerment policy in which sitting tenants were sold houses at what he called give-away prices”.

You mean houses like in Chilenje, Matero Kamuchanga, Mikomfwa, Chifubu, Chiwempala and Chimwemwe?

    Yekanangwawe!

  24. I can’t believe this, where did FTJ get $8.5m? And how did this money( if it is genuinely his) found itself with state funds. Was there a common acc for FTJ and GRZ? We need to know the truth…

  25. #ok quick comments, first I don’t know about the $8.5 million so will not comment. What is true is Levy did indeed write to Chiluba asking him to be considered for 2001 presidency and every true blue has seen that letter. Also it is true that FTJ is not appreciated about what he did and yes he managed to create a vibrant Zambian middle class with real worth in terms of property. Most of you people blogging here have those ZCCM and councils houses that are giving you good rent money income. So chiluba did make a contribution to Zambia and he is right when he says so. More later when I knock off

  26. Get that 8.5 Million dollars and tar the Zimba-Livingstone road and the rest revampa Nitrogen Chemicals and Mansa batteies full stop….why should all the poor zambians be held to ransom by these shameless thieves and jokers.

  27. Very interesting, this man wan’t some more money he left in GRZ account, he is a big conman, i dought if he will go in. :((:((:((:((

  28. The whole thing is taking too long am sure there is a place for him mujele.I feel and think that he is not alone why cant they be lockedup as a very good example for upcoming………..what word can I use…ok naleka

  29. The man is a thief who has no remorse. Jail him and please don’t allow him to ever mention Mwanawasa in Court at any time because he failed to testify when Mwanawasa was alive. Why now talk about the dead? He is very guilty and that is why he was so scared of Mwananawasa. Can you imagine if ever he said this when LPM was alive, what do you think LPM was going to do? He was going to release all the documents to the public.
So tell Chiluba to stop talking about Levy or what Levy did or did not do because Levy gave Chiluba a chance to talk but Chiluba refused. Shameless kawalala, galu wakantu kafupi!!!

  30. Knowing Zed he might never be imprisoned…….alot of stories have not been cleared and clarified, we have been left to conclude on our own. I hope one day such cases will be delt with accordingly not utushimi all the time

  31. #67. MMD Chief Bootlicker I like it how selective you get when answering questions. Not clever to me any way. No offence here and I mean it in english. The topic is about your ex president who hand picked LPM (MHSRIP) to become president.

He is now a very desperate man who wants to save his butt (like Ameracans say) hence the reason he is reviewing all this. What ever he is bringing up now was done when he was president (on MMD tickect), remember he still carries your card.

Some one said yesterday that you guys are lucky you are dealing with Africans. This man should have been the end of MMD. Look we owe him $8.5m-innocent man! :d:d

  32. The thief has taken advantage of LPM demise. Please don’t waste Zambian pippos time and money. This is an out right confession. Please nail the guy he has no regard for the Zambian pippo.

  33. I can’t wait for this trial to come to an end. Mr Chinyama get tough and do the right thing irrespective of the pressure from the former president’s supporters. The jail sentence is looming, shame shame.

  34. HOW TO TRAP A MONKEY – By Dr Maureen sc
Cut a small hole in a gourd ( Insupa) and place some fruit inside.
(Remember to secure the gourd to something )
    Wait for the monkey, and
When the monkey has its hand inside simply walk there and nab it

When a monkey has been caught stealing, no matter what presure the ape is under, he will still hold onto the fruit !

  35. how come this is when he is mentioning mwanawasa :-w:-w:-w ? this does’nt change a thing.he was expected to make responsible decision as a leader .he even has the guts that $8.5 is his 😮

  36. Please thats a criminal, he can’t claim that there’s still US$ 8m owed to him, not even his entire saving can amount to that. What about the K6 billion he spent on his tiny shoes and suits, please Kabwalala spare us from your nonsense. Phew!!!!

  37. To all those oppossed to Chiluba give a man a break. He is entitled to a fair trial not those silly comments you usually pass.

I am not suprised baby c is also calling the former President names even before he is found gulty by the court, shame on you. have not respect? you are such a disgrace, it is empty heads like you that put me off on this site.

  38. 3RqU boyi uli wa chimwela sana ndakumfwa bwino. Nalaposako amano, ulifye bwino ka? 2008 and 2009 LT Award winner for defending Sata.

  39. Dr. Chiluba weeps in court
Second Republican President Frederick Chiluba Wednesday wept in court as he testified in a case where he is charged with plunder of national resources.

Dr. Chiluba lamented that members of his family no longer walk with their heads held high because of the theft allegations levelled against him.

  40. We are yet to hear more from Dr FTJ he has just opened up his defence. Yes he created middle class of the Kaponya’s. Who was witness to the handing over of the private donated funds. No wonder these people are taking so long to conclude the cases in courts of law.

The same private funds were used to grab other pipo’s softwares. The little old man will go any extend to secure his aquital. What good things did he bring to this country does it make economic sense to empower e few citizens with council & GRZ houses. Does this man know how civil servants that never bought houses are suffering living in shanties. There more to come from his head. Pastors pray for the man

  41. This whole episode has brought nothing but a lot of shame to Zambia. Here we go with this hullabaloo………….

As we say culminating into a massada complex……….
Talk about courage from these terrorists

  42. Forge about all these Zed stories. You will never get any answers. The whole system are thieves. Here is something to cheer you up. Have a laugh.
My wife and I are watching “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire” while we were in bed.
I turned to her and said, “Do you want to have sex?”
    “No,” she answered.
I then said, “Is that your final answer?”
She didn’t even look at me this time, simply saying, “Yes.”
So I said, “Then I’d like to phone a friend.”
    And then the fight started….

  43. Felix, bail does not work like that. There is no actual payment of cash at that point. Only if the accused jumps bail. There appears to a lot of ignorance on the part of bloggers on how matters of law are handled.

That is why I even see most bloggers swayed by press pipo.

  44. After retiring, I went to the Social Security office to apply for Social Security.
The woman behind the counter asked me for my driver’s licence to verify my age.
I looked in my pockets and realised I had left my wallet at home.
I told the woman that I was very sorry, but I would have to go home and come back later.
The woman said, ‘Unbutton your shirt’.
So I opened my shirt revealing my curly silver hair.
She said, ‘That silver hair on your chest is proof enough for me’ and she processed my Social Security application When I got home, I excitedly told my wife about my experience at the Social Security office.
She said, ‘You should have dropped your pants. You might have gotten d

  45. Can someone tell me wat next after the london court judgement? this man still has a lot of space to cheat zambians. if this man will go scort free, i will have reservations on the task force and our judicial system. also giving away hses at chip price is 1 thing and having plans to build more for the younger working class is another. wat a wasted 10 years under this man’s rule!!! Those of us who were at UNZA from 1996 – 2002 could feel his direct heat especially from those long closures. everybody could smell mismanagement of the economy during those years!lets wait & hear!!

  46. I leave everything to GOD,other i have forgiven FTJ and im not of the idea of taking this man to jail. I think he did alot for Zambia but its only that Zambians forget easily

  47. Iwe #101 Chips Khu,is it not Chiluba who faught for democracy? Who brought liberalised economy? People today can do business freely because of him. Muli ba Kaunda kuti mwaponta so pa LT imwe? Is it not Chiluba who faught for some of these things. I totally dont support the plunder of our national resources by Chiluba. But it would be wrong for me to say what good did Chiluba do to Zambia. You are portraying the true nature of a human being, only seeing the wrongs and condemn.

  48. I took my wife to a restaurant.
The waiter, for some reason, took my order first.
“I’ll have the strip steak, medium rare, please.”
He said, “Aren’t you worried about the mad cow?””
Nah, she can order for herself.”
    And then the fight started…

  49. “Dr. Chiluba’s lawyers asked for an adjournment of the case to February 9, to enable the defence bring ten witnesses. The former president together with Mr. Kabwe and Mr. Chungu is accused of stealing public funds amounting to $500 million. And yesterday Dr Chiluba said his heart breaks when people say he did nothing for Zambia during his tenure of office.”

Nice stuff Mr Chiluba (Hon. Doc., Malawi). I am with you. I hope all will be fair for you in the end.

You surely did the best you could for Zambia, but the nichekeleko you and your then MMD Administration brought to Zambia has corrupted my minds. People are noe lazy and all they do is beg or claim some part of one’s money.

  50. 55. Shalapungu Banton greetings. I like your “Chewe, What is this thing I said thats not good?” following “#25,Shalapungu Banton.I have always liked you, you are such a good brother. But what you said on the other thread was not good. You are one of the people i wouldnt attack no matter what you can say to me.Stay blessed.”

I have mentioned before that me and you have been together for a long time and very soon your Undereducate Sata sympathisers will realise who you really are.

Keep well and later, Banton(.LLB) aka Mwine filimu.

  51. Moni Maestro! :-h Do you realise that there is no such noun as “Undereducate” in the English language? How educated does that make you?

  52. mwebwamwe…what is $8.5m to ahead of state.if COMMS,DIR,B.MAN,and ministers can handle that cash.his not a thief. charge him on something else not that WIFE SNATCHER YES.

  53. This is interesting. The auditors for ZANACO and ZNOC were Grant Thornton, and the Zamtrop account was maintained at ZANACO where ZNOC also maintained its accounts. It was claimed in court by ZNOC that factious entries amounting to US$ 40 million were passed by ZANACO to ZNOC account at ZANACO. Price Waterhouse took over from Deloittes as illegal liquidators of ZNOC. It is very clear that all audits firms in Zambia, Deloittes, Grant Thornton, Price Water house helped Mwanawasa and MMD cover Chiluba’s mess with the illegal liquidation of ZNOC. Mwanawasa and MMD political party are certainly involved in this corruption together with all the auditors.

  54. 51. Papa J
It is true Levy got a lot of cash & 3 vehicles for his campaign trail but as far as most people are concerned, that money came from MMD not Chiluba’s personal account so who was Levy to question his financiers, none of us here have questioned where our banks get their money from when we borrow. The 3 vehicles were a Hyudai Santa Fe used by Levy,a Mazda double cab shared by Mbita Chitala & Jack Kalala & a Hyundai Estate(car)used by Levy’s advisors & security headed by Muteteka, this was all during the elections.

  55. These cases therefore cannot be logically concluded without the ZNOC case lawfully determined. These issues are connected, and everything is centered on ZANACO with the same players, ZANACO,Chiluba, Mwanawasa, MMD and all auditors. It is therefore premature to categorically say that the US$ 8.5 million belongs to Chiluba

  56. just want to comment on some of the comments posted on this site.sometimes i wonder if the people making the comments are adults or toddlers.please lets learn to stick to the topic at hand. thank you.

    Q;Browning of nails?Answer;
    Causes

    * Acute paronychia
o Acute paronychia usually results from a traumatic event, however minor, that breaks down the physical barrier between the nail bed and the nail; this disruption allows the infiltration of infectious organisms.
o Acute paronychia can result from seemingly innocuous conditions, such as hangnails, or from activities, such as nail biting, finger sucking, manicuring, or artificial nail placement.
o Staphylococcus aureus is the most common infecting organism. Organisms, such as Streptococcus and Pseudomonas species, gram-negative bacteria, and anaerobic bacteria are other causative org

  58. Some of the claims Chiluba has made against Levy are rather irrational coz he knows Levy will not answer back,Mrs Mwanawasa knows the truth & i believe she will speak out.Levy was summoned at State House a few times by Chiluba as they were friends from way back in Ndola & Levy himself mentioned it was surprise that Chiluba picked him as his successor as Levy thought Sata was Chiluba’s favourite,Sata thought so too that is why he never liked Levy at all coz he knew no matter what he does,FTJ will always be there for him but things changed when Levy was picked.

  59. #

    * anisms.
    * Acute (and chronic) paronychia may also occur as a manifestation of other diseases, such as pemphigus vulgaris. Although instances of nail involvement in pemphigus vulgaris are rare, they can be severe, involving multiple digits and hemorrhage.

    # Chronic paronychia

    * Chronic paronychia is primarily caused by the yeast fungus Candida albicans.
    * Other rare causes of chronic paronychia include bacterial, mycobacterial, or viral infection; metastatic cancer; subungual melanoma; and squamous cell carcinoma. Therefore, benign and malignant neoplasms should always be excluded when chronic paronychia does not respond to conventional treatment.

  60. * Chronic paronychia most often occurs in persons whose hands are repeatedly exposed to moist environments or in those who have prolonged and repeated contact with irritants such as mild acids, mild alkalis, or other chemicals. People who are most susceptible include housekeepers, dishwashers, bartenders, and swimmers.

    # Other conditions associated with abnormalities of the nail fold that predispose individuals to chronic paronychia include psoriasis, mucocutaneous candidiasis, and drug toxicity from medications such as retinoids and protease inhibitors. Of particular interest is the antiretroviral drug indinavir, which induces retinoidlike effects and remains the most frequent cause

  63. Having read through people’s contributions I can see a few who have a sound, well balanced judgement. Some are just going with the flow or mob while others just act on impulse or feeling.
I totally concur with #39 Baby C to wind up and leave this non ending nonsense of a case. This isn’t a straightforward case as it involves anyone and everyone with very limited admissible evidence. It is a waste of GRZ money and resources.
What our ‘doppy’ government needs to do is to seize whatever money is left and invest into our healthcare/roads instead of allowing premature babies to die in hospitals because there are no back up generators. There have been so many deaths on our bad roads recently…

  64. 124. Cross Road
I think you seem to like the ZNOC issue but it is one story that is not really major in the plunder cases,i wonder where u got it from that Mwanawasa was part of the plunder.
ZANACO was owned by the govt of Zambia & as expected the govt ie Ministries,Dept, parastatals etc were expected to bank with a national bank in order for it to remain afloat so ain’t nothing peculiar about that however,it was clear for everyone to see that Mwanawasa could have benefited from his personal friend Mahtani when suddenly his Finance Bank & Professional Insurance were the govt’s choice for banking/Finance & Insurance services instead of ZANACO & ZISC.

  65. #148. Hola. 😮

But Chiluba says we owe him!

What people do not realise is at the moment with those figures he is quoting he is richer than the country. For heaven`s sake this does not add up!

  66. #144 No further questions your worship. E bantu tufwaya pa LT like Bo Lubasi. Not just :-@ :-@ :-@

Sony Ericsson Phiri. Walasa kalyaka bad kind ! 8-x

  67. I read ij one of the papers that Chiluba was offered a bribe by Her Majesty…Now how on earth are we going get the Queen to testify in Zambia? He has also implicated GT where HH was the boss at the time and the late LPM.
Also the London ruling will always be challenged as Zambia is a sovereign state bound by its own Legal System. With the extent of corruption in Zambia(evident by so many bails)one can only concludes that the decision has already been made and that the court is only doing it for formality’s sake.By the way,are the Nchito brothers prosecuting???

  68. FTJ did not bring democracy to Zambia. The ppl did. The guy was a late comer, a compromise coz of his union constituency, the inventor & father of the street kids syndrome, an apologetic for open corruption and grand style stealing, the incapacitator of all our local authority admin. system in Zed but above all the most pretended presido Zed will probably ever get. And he still wants more, despite himself. I bet they don’t make them like that in heaven anymore!

  69. Baby C you’re not the only one that’s being a target of personal attacks on the blog.
I spent my whole morning dodging verbal shots aswell. I don’t know why some people are getting so nervous & frustrated when they see us. Is it because we are Bemba just like Chiluba???:-?

  70. What Chiluba has said about Mwanawasa is rational. The Zamtrop account is there and Chiluba and Chungu can point out the K300 million from that account that was paid to FRA on Mwanawasa’s behalf. They can also indicate the K600 million from Zamtrop that was paid to Mwanawasa. This is a typical case of selective prosecution. Mwanawasa was avoiding cases and transactions where he was a beneficially. The records are there. Mwanawasa was involved in this corruption.

  71. The evidence against Mwanawasa, ZNOC corruption was brought out in the open when Mwanawasa was alive. This evidence is everywhere. The amounts involved in this corruption are in millions of dollars

  72. To all the bloggers ,

try to control your eyes and finger, when they feel like kunyoza others.
The manyoza crew will be evicted soon.
I am feeling a bit down today cos someone called me names and nobody came to my rescue. i feel like FTJ.

But what the hek , i dont care you are all the same.

I am going to spend some money for my uncle FTJ to make me feel better.

  73. Maybe I’m exaggerating, but truly, I’ve had enough of these personal attacks today. It’s just too much, on other blogs, people get suspended just by calling others names but on LT it’s the order of the day.
Ofcourse I will survive & eventually get over it but is this how we shall be living?
My point is if you can make allowances for yourself and the demands of your own emotional issues, this should let you recognize and make allowances for the very same forces operating on others.

In short, examine your own words from your fellow bloggers’ perspective. How would you feel?

  74. chiluba was just part of the people who pioneered the cause of multipartysm. Other real champions were sana sana icengelo with father umberto davoli, mr elias
Kaenga the zambia episcopal conference. And other brave guys who converned the first MMD conference at garden hotel Akashambatwa mbikusita lewanika and Derrick chitala. so as much as we should appreciate ba FTJ’s input at the same time he should be reminded that it was wrong for him to start flirting with public funds. BALAKAKA

  75. Zambians dont practice hatred, be sober minded political parties raise a lot of money from rich well wishers and governments. Ask Sata where he got the money to hire a plane. HH went round the country! Even LPM (MHSRIP) used ZMK 5billion kept by his friend Matani during his last reelection. do you know the source! Whether you like it or not FTj and MMD had a lot of goodwill from Zambians and well wishers abroad who were tire with KK. He could have raised that money. You dont know the Intelligence charter , so you cant conclude that it was wrong. Be sensible look for facts. Pricewaterhouse, BoZ are all credible auditors, so dont dispute from nowhere. be sober. FTj deserves a fare trial.

  76. lekani ku tukana cos its childish,#

Lets try to stick to the topic.

So far i have spent $1000 from uncle FTJ.

The more you kukana , the more i go spend.

  77. Any normal person can breakdown, if a person like LPM turns against you after ascending to high office. There is no way LPM was going to beat Mazoka without FTj

  78. Any normal person can breakdown if LPM turned against you after helping to ascend to presidence in such a manner. There is no way LPM was going to beat Andy Mazoka without FTJ support. No. Remember even Obama had so much money after his nomination to the point that he had to clear some debts for Hillary clinton.

About storage, and source you can never know. There a lot of civil servants and businessmen who support PF and UPND secretely, even pipo abroad you will never know them. Never! Get sober

  79. 122. Sony Ericsson Phiri moni following your “Moni Maestro! Do you realise that there is no such noun as “Undereducate” in the English language? How educated does that make you?” Thanks for asking.

Firstly, the term Undereducate is a combination of two words that can rightly be written as Under-educate. This is similar to a words like “otherhand” which is simply “other-hand” that is used in ‘on the otherhand’.

In lighet of this “Under” means ‘below some quantity or limit; “fifty dollars or under”‘ and ‘teach or refine to be discriminative in taste or judgment; “Cultivate your musical taste”;’.

Type “define:under” and “define:educate” in google to read more on the meanings.

  80. #174 Sony Eric, no jelasi my brother, only that I’m fed up with these verbal attacks.
Let’s have no more abusive provocations on LT. That’s my only plea.

  81. Ba Maureen
Abena ftj has reached what they call ‘yield point’.Nomba aleisokolola fye.Bushe tukamwelele ?OF course on condition that he takes back Regina and everything he covetiously obtained.

  82. 178. Maestro Hhehhehhehhe continued.

So, when you combine the two words under and educate to form a compound word “under-educate”, the combined meaning of this new word becomes “below some limit in formal education that allows correct judgement or taste”. A case in point to this is Undereducate Michael Chilufya Sata’s failure to correctly interpret the Zambian Constitution on the Presidential Term of President Rupiah B Banda to run up to 2013 due to his lack of CIVICS education taught at Grade 8 and 9 levels in the Zambian education system since he only reached “Standard 4 equivalently Grade 6”. Sad Sata a former MP must have known the President’s term ends on dissolution of Parliament.

  83. These people have allowed Chiluba to start talking.
Chiluba has a sharp mouth, tongue and full of words.I dont think they will manage him like this.
Late LPM had a good stratergy and never allowed this big mouthed character to talk.
If our current govt goes to sleep,Chiluba will be set free.
Just take a close look at the tactic he has started using.Crying, involving military personnel, sell of houses to miners etc. This is just to gain general sympathy.
    Just Wait.

  84. 185. Maestro Hhehhehhehhe continued.

Since Parliament will be dissolved in 2011 to pave way for general elections, the President’s term will come to an end and hence we will have Presidential elections too. Hence, clearly the under-educate-ness of Michael Chilufya Sata lead him to utter a statement that whoever wins the 2008 presidential elections was going to rule for 5 years and won’t be subjected to elections in 2011 when the National Assembly will be dissolved.
Secondly, “How educated does that make you?” makes me more of a teach to an under-educate like you “Sony-ericsson Phiri”.Good enough for you, I think you have learnt something new today.
If this is not clear, please shout!

  85. Ok,FJT here is the catch claim your money kabili Shobe ,but promise not to buy those pink and yellow shoes coz we will come and judge you based on evidence on those shoes and promise to stick to one wife pantu bamukamfwila ba maureen bashimbe not ukufipanga ati twalafilila munsenga

  86. It was not Chiluba’s idea to sell houses to the miners. The selling of houses was a proposal put to the politicians, by ZCCM management who initiated the idea, for approval. The shameless politicians hijacked the idea. They ended up messing it up by denying some miners houses which were rightly theirs. The rest is painful history.

  87. TOP on FTJ’s successes is his ‘I empowered Zambians with houses’,as tho he built them.Well he only did it for him to stay popular.Later he could not even give us the title deeds

  88. Maestro “undereducate” would be a verb, i.e. “I undereducate, you undereducate, he/she/it undereducates”. Alternatively it could be used as an adjective: “UNDEREDUCATED”. Please not the “D” on the end. The noun “the undereducate” or “an undereducate” makes no sense. Anyway your only education seems to be in hating one man

  89. Ba Chale I mean people don’t like us because we are always #1 :d That’s why. Anyway on the subject of personal attacks, people shouldn’t start things they can’t finish, some people need to be told.

  90. CHILUBA’S DEFENCE SO FAR:
    1. Well wishers gave the MMD a lot of money.
    2. Well wishers did not prescribe how the money should be spent, so I personalised it.
    3. It was too much to keep in a Zambian account so I put it into the ZAMTROP account.
    4. The money is still there and it is mine.
Well, well! It reminds me of one Mobutu Sese Seko! He personalised all donations to his country and deposited in his personal account! It must be a Congolese way of ‘keeping’ money for a party or country. ZCTU should also check its money as well. Donations to ZCTU from well wishers may have gone into his pockets! MMD can sue>

  91. kafupi never ceases to amaze. wat do the others think we do with this one time political engineer cum economic plunderer? maybe we sentence him to death? i don’t know

  92. 199. ndolic. So you are one of the “yewes” who have been studying my writings just to try and find a fault in me. Yaba, nkaambo muli a nchito!

All the best to you in your endeavour.

  93. He is basically taking us Zambians for a ride. If we go back to 1991, this man declared assets of not more than K5 million at 1991 prices. We also know that his salarly that was being paid in his Ndola branch bank was being fraudulently cashed by a bank employee over a long period of time, for the simple reason that he was not withdrawing that salarly. How on earth then can he account for over USD 8.5 million and claim it as his? He forgets that anything donated to him as President automatically becomes State property, unless Government decides through the thresholds that have been set that he can keep it

  94. 191. Sony Ericsson Phiri , on your “Maestro “undereducate” would be a verb, i.e. “I undereducate, you undereducate, he/she/it undereducates”. Alternatively it could be used as an adjective: “UNDEREDUCATED”. Please not the “D” on the end. The noun “the undereducate” or “an undereducate” makes no sense. Anyway your only education seems to be in hating one man”

I will again help you understand these things in the next few postings from me. Later.

  95. 1. A ‘verb’ is a word that expresses action, existence, or occurrence.
    2. A ‘noun’ is word which designates a creature, thing, person, place, etc.
    3. A ‘pronoun’ is a word that is used in place of a ‘noun’.
    4. An ‘adjectives’ expresses an attribute of something or a quality of the thing named, or something attributed to the thing named.
    5. An ‘adverb’ modifies the sense of a verb or qualifies it.

Having written this, the compound word “Undereducate” is a pronoun for the noun Micheal Chilufya Sata.

  96. 204. ndolic and 205. Sony Ericsson Phiri, mwalepula guys!

Anyway, your ‘“Maestro “undereducate” would be a verb, i.e. “I undereducate, you undereducate, he/she/it undereducates”’ is not correct according to me.

Also ‘Alternatively it could be used as an adjective: “UNDEREDUCATED”. Please not the “D” on the end.’ is well placed as UNDEREDUCATED describes the state/quality of a person in this case MC Sata (noun) which entails that it is actually an ADJECTIVE.

I will thus end here too. Later then.

  97. Chiluba you are forgiven dont worry.God forgives,i know what you did was wrong but i forgive you. LT Award winner 2008 and 2009 for defending Sata.

  100. “Mr. Chiluba also told the court that there is still $8.5 million in the ZAMTROP account which belongs to him.
He testified that three audit firms that audited the ZAMTROP account established that there was an outstanding amount of $52 million out of which $43 million belonged to the state.
Mr. Chiluba said auditors who included Price Waterhouse Coopers and Grant Thornton confirmed that the $8.5 million belonged to him.”
    Source: ww w.zambianwatchdog. com/ ?p=1005

Grant Thornton associated with U-Team president Hakainde Hichilema, HH, has made great money in this issues. This is how educated men and women make money in a clean way. Only illiterates remain behind complaining.

  101. Fake characters who are used to stealing goods or other people’s ideas will never catch up with the originators, if they do not do there own stuff with confidence and keep copying like a photocopying machine.

Thus, me as a Tonga person originator of a signature on my TRUE AWARD WINNING will always be ahead of characters especially of a known tribe and/or language that are specialists in stealing almost everything they find or see.

You have started again, when you got the award you relaxed a bit please don’t forget to take your prozac. Look at how you are behaving again
    😕

  103. This man has no shame. Where does he get off trying to insult our intelligence? Which well wishers were prepared to give him $8m just like that, without expecting anything in return. It is this trait in a lot of Zambians that I find puzzling. They don’t see anything wrong with accepting expensive gifts from foreigners when they occupy office of state. In developed countries such gifts would be judged to have been given to the people of the country and would therefore be forfeited to the state.

  104. # 11 Ba Maureen
how you doing its been a long time we should do lunch some time .By the way how is the young boy Mweshi ..and is his sister still in Swiss ( Geneva)..Ba Maureen e must link up just say when

  105. A PRESIDENT RECEIVES GIFTS AND DONATIONS THAT CAN GO INTO MILLIONS. MOST OF THAT 8.5 MILLION CAME FROM GADDAFI AND A FEW OTHER LEADERS. THE US AND BRITISH GOVERNMENTS ALSO PUT MONEY INTO ZAMTROP TO REMOVE SAVIMBI FROM THIS EARTH. BE VERY CAREFUL ABOUT BELIEVING EVERYTHING YOU READ IN THE POST. THE TRUTH IS EVEN BANK OF ZAMBIA FOUND THAT FTJ HAD PERSONAL MONEY OF 8.5 MILLION BUT STILL WENT AHEAD TO PROSECUTE HIM FOR 500 PIN. HOW CAN YOU STEAL YOUR OWN MONEY?

  106. #222, i agree with you!
most of the money in zamtrop account is his.
lets not judge a person for a few mistakes.
Remember what the Bible says,”No one has the right to judge another person, as we all sinners”
Chiluba has done much for Zambia, and he derserves some respect.
What is going around him is nonsence.
    LT tell them **==**==**==

  107. 10 years rule was sweety, sadly the ending was pathetic for Dr.Chiluba
Breaking down in court means alot to Dr.Chiluba
    1)Leaving Regina alone
    2)No freedom of movement
    3)No freedom of worship
    4)No freedom of voting
    5)No freedom to speak
6)who takes care of the property if sent behind bars
    7) add to the list……………….
Ba Chiluba sure “mwamba nomba ukulilafye”,what more if the court says go behind bars,be strong man.You reap what you sow.

  108. Ba Chiluba be careful the way you are coming out in giving evidence.I quote “And Dr. Chiluba disclosed that $1 Million was spent by the MMD to buy a building called Black Velvet in Lusaka where the party intended to be accommodated”.is this true?

  109. How much is the President’s salary again? Where does this guy get the $8.5 million? Lock him up and someone please swallow the key!!

  110. MAESTRO Hhehhehhe at No. 214. Clever people made money cleanly with the Vulture Funds that the Courts eventualy turned over to Zambians. HH’s methods are no different from the Vulture Funds. Morality says “NO” to acquisition of wealth ala Vulture Fund mode.

  111. Do not believe every stories that you read.Zambians are easily mislead with such stories.Zed people been lead into thinking that they are suffering today because of Chiluba, come on that’s nonsense and that politics.remenber this man you call all sort of names was your president, give him credit and respect is due.the man is a legend and done good things for zambia during his 10 years.Innoncent until proven guilty

  114. Well, to prove theft therefore in view of this, then there has to be a reconciliation of Zamtrop account. They will need to identify the money from government from that of other sources. Against this then they will need to offset Chiluba’s expenses. MMD past and present Presidents should then be investigated on how they get funds for the party. It is clear MMD has been involved in money laundering. This is clearly the reason why MMD always want The Republican President to be the party president as well.

  115. FTJ is riding on KK’s back by claiming that he empowered zambians with ‘cheap’ houses. He never built these houses he gave away. He just created a bigger and bitter housing crisis for civil servants and pipo working in government institutions. The sale of the houses was done in bad faith as it was just a ploy to buy the prime houses for himself and his many girlfriends like Regina Mwanza. His relatives actually benefitted more from the sale of the houses KK built than average zambians.
TASK FORCE CAN YOU INVESTIGATE HOW FTJ MANAGED TO ACCUMULATE MILLIONS OF US $. THIS KAFUPI IS CLAIMING THAT HE HAS MORE THAN USD $ 8.5 or is it Zim $????
    :-?:-?
